Good bite, crispy crust, a little chewy on the inside, with a touch of sweetness. I see a lot of people claiming that these are not NY bagels. These are the same people who proudly state, "this isn't NY pizza!" every time they have a slice anywhere outside Long Island and the five boroughs. I'm from NY. I lived and worked in NYC for over 25 years. Yes, the pizza, bagels, and food in general - is better in NY. That said, south Florida is no slouch. There's some incredible food down in this area. H&H overcooks their eggs (order the scrambled soft or over easy), has mediocre coffee, and could charge slightly less. If you're looking for a life-changing experience here, you may be disappointed. If you're looking for a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, bacon and tomato though, you could do a lot worse.
