Never had Jersey mikes until I moved to Long Island and wow! The closest thing we had in the city to Jersey Mikes was Subway and Subway is super trash. What I really love and appreciate about Jersey Mikes, is all the cold cuts are fresh cold cuts and not processed cold cuts like Subway. They have a great selection of condiments you can add to your sandwich to make it phenomenal. I ordered the number 4 and the sandwich came with Provolone, prosciuttini and cappacuolo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pepper relish, oil, pepper, and vinegar. I paid 20 dollar for the sandwich but it's well worth it. Sandwich is cut into 4 slices and it's the size of a whole Italian loaf of bread. They offer the regular size for 7 dollars but I they offer a larger option where it's pretty much 2 sandwiches. Overall I'm obsessed with Jersey Mikes and this is my new spot for sandwiches. I used to love Jersey Mike's. It was my go-to. But the last time I ordered through Uber Eats, that love turned into one of the worst experiences I've ever had with food. Convenient location near work. Also nice they are right next to Starbucks! I've ordered from this location a handful of times. Each time the employees take the time in making my sandwich or sub in a tub. They never rush and listen as to what I want. Everything is always super fresh. I prefer Jersey Mike's as everything is freshly sliced, and not just sitting there in a bin. My favorite is a #7. Turkey and provolone. Turkey and provolone is such a lovely marriage. I get it "Mike's Way" for the most part...just no onions...and I add pickles and banana peppers. "Mike's Way" is onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices. Ordered three cookies a few days ago with our subs. Told my partner how great they were. When they arrived they were burnt and tasted burnt a where hard as a rock. I have had Jersey Mikes cookies before and they have never been of this poor quality. Makes me wonder if they were giving the burnt ones to people that ordered through Uber Eats so they could get rid of them. The staff is too young and inexperienced to run the store by themselves. It took 25 or more minutes for 3 sandwiches. 2 regular & 1 giant. Several people after me left with their sandwiches as I waited and watched all the confusion behind the counter and mixing up of food. They did not know what sandwich was what once it was wrapped and let my sandwiches sit on the line. One worker even mentioned it to the other that the food was dying, "he said yeah so" I was patient and understanding up until this point. I wanted to redo my whole order fresh. There didn't seem to be a manager present, just the 2 guys working who looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere but there. My biggest issue was how dirty the prep area was. The slicer had so many scraps of meat and cheese on it and the counter was a mess with scraps of the toppings. Love Jersey Mike's. I always think the Mini is not going to be enough but it's really perfect. I got the Italian combo with pepperoni. The "works" includes lettuce, tomato, onion, Italian seasoning, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, really makes this sub DELICIOUS. Plus everything is made to order. So they're not pre-sliced like Subway. I'm a fan even though it was just a little bit too much ham in mine. I absolutely love this place. The sandwiches were huge and worth every penny. I was able to get as many peppers and toppings as I liked and it was amazing! You know the guys with the 10 inch footlong subs, where if you call the stuff in there cold cuts, you might severely misguided. Every time I walk in here, I feel like all the employees just woke up from a nap! Usually one employee comes out, and after a few minutes there's 5 or 6 of them. The service is very friendly, but I can not justify paying $15 for a large sandwich. I've been going to jersey Mikes for 10 years. I'm from the west coast moved out here a few weeks ago. If this jersey mikes would have been the only one I've went to I would never eat here. The service the quality the lowest even worse than subway lol. The man making the sandwich gave me so much attitude I wanted to leave than the bread seem old and hard. After getting past that the lettuce was brown I asked if I could please get fresh lettuce I thought I asked for gold the way I was looked at. I had never been to a jersey mikes before, but i am now obsessed! the roast beef sandwich is so good! i will definitely agree with the other reviews the staff needs to be trained better. They seem very young and goof off a lot(when my husband ordered a philly cheesesteak one of the workers said "that's going to take a long time with _____ on the grill" as everyone behind the counter is laughing. As a proud Jersey girl I'm not really clear on why there are more Jersey Mikes in Long Island than my home state. However, I love me some jersey mikes. Their sandwiches are always fresh and tasty. They have some special seasoning that they put on them to ensure quality! I'm a huge fan of the different sizes which are large enough to share. The only down side is that a bag of chips and sandwich here can get very costly.
