Idk what it was today , but the workers seemed overly stressed , normally they're always smiling and laughing but this time .. it felt a little different. Maybe it was the guy who was taking orders. It didn't make sense to me why he was taking the whole sandwich orders but not really communicating with the other worker on what we wanted . Great service and employees are kind , fast and courteous. I was on and out in 10min. However I would suggest to not sacrifice cleanliness and. Health for quick service. U didn't like that the employee that made my sandwich took the time to use gloves but then didn't switch gloves after handling money , paper and receipts (receipts are known for having chemicals. I stood there for another 10 minutes before I asked the girl at the register how long it would be and the girl went to look for my order and it was no where to be found. I ordered my usual: regular club sub on wheat The staff who was preparing my sandwich was not paying much attention when he was doing it. He cut into the big loaf very unevenly and gave me the smaller piece-- it was not the regular size, more like in between a mini and regular size but I paid for the regular sandwich price. Disappointment was escalated bc the guy after me ordered the same sandwich but his "regular" sandwich was two inches bigger than mine. I ordered pickup two different sandwiches, but the details of each sandwich were mixed. The bread was switched, both had tomatoes when 1 asked for no tomatoes, and only 1 was Mike's way when they were both supposed to have it. It was a gross sandwich, and the place was empty, so I don't know how they messed up so badly. Other times, I have gone other employees make a great sandwich. This is my first time ever @ Jersey Mikes. I'm amazed at how good this place is. I got the California Club and the Mrs got the Famous Philly. Both sandwiches were quite tasty. It's a bit pricier than subways, but the portion size is bigger and tastier. The bread is way better than subways. We ordered for pickup. He seemed confused how to take a pick-up order so he proceeded to say "umm pick up? Umm it's busy right now can I put you on hold for 2 mins." After I called back 8 times, no answer. So today, Oct 22, 2019, I placed my order online, and somehow I botched my order. I had meant to order a sandwich, but on arrival for pick up, to my dismay I saw that what they had for me was a "Tub" as in salad, not a sub. I don't know how it happened, but there it was, not what I thought I ordered. I usually don't like to make a fuss, but I did say "oh, I thought I ordered a sandwich", and had them check my order, what they had was a tub, not a sub. I said "it's okay, I'll take it." But the young lady very willingly offered to fix my order into a sandwich and I left with exactly what I wanted. She was so very nice about it, and the sandwich was perfect. I wish I had payed attention and gotten her name. While it seems like something they should do, and it is, but it isn't everyday someone so happily offer to go an extra step for you smiling. Love the oil & vinegar on the subs- I was really happy when this location opened up as it's quite convenient to home. I always find the employees to be very friendly and attentive. The food is always fresh and there's never too long of a wait. Love that they thinly sliced the meats and cheeses and pile it on a freshly baked roll. Fresh veggies and a few extras if you want them. The only sandwich I ordered was the turkey, ham and provolone, but now I tend to order the Philly cheesesteak as it's hard to find a good one around anymore as Philly Cheesesteak closed. I come here quite often because it's the closest location to our home. Usually I order online and come to pick up the food. Sandwiches are usually done correctly but sides like cookies and brownies are often incorrect. The website may allow you to order them but upon arrival it turns out they didn't have any. They typically don't say anything until they hand you your bag, then they ask you if you want to substitute it for something else (usually something cheaper) and in case you don't it's a hassle for them to refund your money for the item. This happens about 75% of the time, even when picking up orders at 11am. They need better availability of products, or better inventory management, or better software so I don't always end up with unpleasant surprises because I ordered something and then they don't have it. read more

Was super excited for Jersey Mike's to finally be in walking distance to work! But it's been poor service each time, so it's meh. They're still new and have a bunch of kids working there. So idk what I expected. Today I walked in and was greeted with, "Hello, miss. How are you doing?" To which I replied, "I'm doing well, thank you. How are you? " No answer. I mention this to the other two trainees who greeted me as well. Response, "oh yeah. Well they make us." No, duh. Got to the register to pay, kid messes up on POS and needs help. Turns to ask for help.... keeps waiting....and waiting ...and waiting. "Sorry, I'm just gonna wait until they're done. " (The other staff were all talking by the grill.) So I say loudly for him, "Hey, can you guys help him out?" They look confused, and like I'm the one being rude. (Might have been a little.) I mention that if he needs help, he needs to interrupt his co-workers because servicing the customer comes first. He says, "well yeah that's true. But two of them are my bosses." *He says whilst wincing* Then, waited for my food. The little girl brings my food and is looking for the sandwich's owner: ME, THE ONLY PERSON WHO ORDERED...and is the only person sitting and waiting. Food always tastes good. Great location! I have been to this location several times and tried several sandwiches. When walking in, you will notice the bright ambience which is very welcoming. Many of the times walking in I was not greeted even though I was the only one in the store. Kinda awkward, but employees are okay. Food was delicious. After trying the hot and cold sandwiches, I am definitely a fan of the cold sandwiches. Hot sandwiches are bland and lacking that punch to the pallette. My sandwiches are always big (huge plus) and tasty. The only thing that is off putting is the pricing. I feel that the sandwiches are overpriced so whenever I am on a budget, I head to subway.
