    kid's meal chicken and fries

Initially, I didn't get the hype around Raising Cane's, but after trying it a few times, I really enjoy it. The chicken tenders are so tender they melt in your mouth, with a shoestring texture and fried to perfection. The coleslaw was crisp and delicious. That sauce, though! It has a great Worcestershire flavor that I love, along with a nice Cajun seasoning. I could easily drink cases of it. I also appreciate how the Kid's Meals come with milk and fun, educational games. My son is obsessed with the spinning top we received. Cane's has the best lemonade! Their sweet tea is good, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance of Cane's! The decor is thoughtfully curated to represent the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I like the framed yearbooks from the 40s, pictures of local high school grads, and the Elvis picture! The disco balls are a nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I particularly like this location because it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Monterey Park location was more convenient due to our Atlantic travel, but the limited seating and parking were a turn-off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We haven't been there as much, but we will definitely visit this location more often.

Ordered Box Combo for $13.39. Comes with four tenders, fries, coleslaw, toast, and drink. Tenders and fries were fresh!

My first time trying Raising Canes and it was pretty good! I got the box combo and everything was great! The chicken tenders themselves were pretty solid. I liked the crunchy batter and the chicken for the most part was succulent and juicy with some dry parts. I wish there was more flavoring in it though. It does pair well with the canes sauce which is rich, creamy and flavorful. Wish they gave you more than one little sauce though. The fries were crispy and the toast was buttery and crispy. The coleslaw was also good and provided a nice and fresh element to all the fried food. The sweet tea also paired well with the meal, but I'd say its just okay compared to authentic Southern sweet tea. The staff at this location were nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the décor, but it was pretty messy and dirty inside. The tables weren't wiped down and there was trash on the floor and it was sticky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, a pretty good first experience at Canes and I would definitely dine again at their locations.

There's a small pocket of parking when you enter but if you drive further there's more parking and the drive-thru. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's nice cool indoor seating and a small outdoor seating in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and atmosphere is similar to all others, very chill and not too noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's high table and booth table seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is quick and the staff have always been nice. The food is pretty good for fast food amd for the price. The toasted bread and the sauce is a big standout. The chicken is juicy. The lemonade is great, not too sweet. Plus they have the crushed ice. Definitely worth a visit.

Got a kids meal card from an event, so came here to entry it out. I haven't been to any raising canes before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are friendly. The price of the chicken sandwich on its own is not on the menu, but is roughly a dollar less than the meal. The chicken has a nice crunchy outside and still quite moist inside. It is not cheap though.

Quick grab n go food especially in their drive thru line. Ordered the box combo. It was pretty good. Their signature sauce isn't as good as Chick-fil-A's tho. Their chicken strips are tasty tho.

Three piece chicken fingers with fries and Texas toast
    Vickie V.

I have been waiting forever to try this chain as everyone hypes this place up. I drove by one the other day and immediately pulled in to make this finally happen. Someone, please tell me what the hype is over this place because it wasn't giving these are the best chicken fingers ever - not even close. I got the three piece chicken fingers that came with fries and what they call Texas toast plus a drink. The batter on the chicken fingers was completely flavorless. The alleged Texas toast was nothing more than fluffy buttered bread with no crunch. Why it's called toast is beyond me. The crinkle fries were overall decent but a tad over salted. Now, the house sauce that everyone raves about - it was bland despite visually having a decent amount of pepper and overhyped. You're better off making fry sauce (look up recipe) than using the sauce provided. Needless to say, I can finally say I have tried this place but there's no reason to return. Notable mention for the drive thru guy was very friendly and attentive. Also note that if you're coming off Valley, you'll have to enter off the side street as it says "do not enter" at what one would think are entrances.

This is a 3 piece meal? Need some quality check before it's given to customers
    Stacy W.

Quantity of food is as important as quality. This is a 3 piece meal? Paid too much for raising canes. Still hungry.

    Sylvia K.

Got the caniac combo! It was ready in 1 min!! How!"? We took it to go and still crispy after we got back to our Airbnb which was 15 min away! It's our first time trying raising cane's and it did not disappoint !

It's always fast and hot. I wish the pieces of chicken were a little more generous, but I can't complain too much for the price. I always substitute the coleslaw for something else, and it's a 50/50 chance that this location gets it right.

My usual order is either the dac biet (special cold cuts) or the beef banh mi. Both are solid. I always ask for the vegetables on the side if I'm not eating it right away so the bread doesn't get soggy. Speaking of the bread, that's one of the reasons I keep coming back. Holy hell that was a juicy chicken…read more I decided to treat myself this evening to some fried chicken and saw that this place was open. Decided to drive by around 11:30PM after work. They took my order and the whole thing took about 10 minutes. The man behind the counter was friendly and gave me a two minute heads up before it was done. He packed it quickly thereafter and I was back on my way home. I saw a few of the negative reviews so I didn't have hopes up. I only wanted to have fried chicken, any would do. So imagine my surprise when I tore into my chicken and found it DRIPPING with juices. Hear me out, I've had Korean fried chicken, Japanese fried chicken (not katsu), Chinese fried chicken and NONE were as juicy as this one. I bought the squid ink battered fried whole chicken. From the first bite to the last was a joy. It needed no sauce so I never used the accompanying spices. I will definitely be back.

A banger. Juicy, crispy, the kind of bite that makes you briefly forget student loans. The batter? Chef's kiss. The wings? Eh -- they're okay. Edible. Not writing home about them, but not writing a complaint either. Solidly meh with a side of 'I've had worse.' Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room -- or rather, the absence of the elephant. Because when my combo arrived, the fries were MIA. Just a sandwich, two wings, and a can of Coke staring at me like a sad diet plate. I had to ask for them. Like a beggar. Like fries were some secret menu item you need a password for. The storekeeper's excuse? 'Fries are not on the order.' Sir. Ma'am. Human being. The description literally says fries. The picture on the menu shows fries. I'm holding a combo that includes a drink -- you think the Coke just volunteered to show up? Is this your first day, or are you testing my patience as a side hustle? To their credit -- they did bring the fries later. Warm, salty, forgiven. But only after I played detective with my own order. So is it good? Yeah, it's good. Is it drive-10-miles-out-of-your-way good? Absolutely not. Unless those 10 miles are downhill. With a tailwind. And someone else is paying for gas. And the grand finale? Almost $20 for this plate. For that price, the fries should've been delivered by a tiny bicycle and handed to me with a bow. Great sandwich. Decent fries (eventually). Mid wings. A cash register that clearly thinks I'm funding a small nation. And a 10-mile radius that I will not be expanding for this again. Monday, indeed.
