I'm really glad this cane's opened up around my neighborhood because of how late it stays open. This is my second time coming here and the service has always been quick and friendly. It's a pretty nice and modern interior so I would definitely use this place as a meeting spot to hang out with friends late into the night. After COVID there hasn't been many places open like this so it's like a late light for the night owls. The canes sauce is addicting, perfect for the chicken fingers. A great meal in general.

Initially, I didn't get the hype around Raising Cane's, but after trying it a few times, I really enjoy it. The chicken tenders are so tender they melt in your mouth, with a shoestring texture and fried to perfection. The coleslaw was crisp and delicious. That sauce, though! It has a great Worcestershire flavor that I love, along with a nice Cajun seasoning. I could easily drink cases of it. I also appreciate how the Kid's Meals come with milk and fun, educational games. My son is obsessed with the spinning top we received. Cane's has the best lemonade! Their sweet tea is good, too. I love the ambiance of Cane's! The decor is thoughtfully curated to represent the area. I like the framed yearbooks from the 40s, pictures of local high school grads, and the Elvis picture! The disco balls are a nice touch. I particularly like this location because it has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The Monterey Park location was more convenient due to our Atlantic travel, but the limited seating and parking were a turn-off. We haven't been there as much, but we will definitely visit this location more often.

My first time trying Raising Canes and it was pretty good! I got the box combo and everything was great! The chicken tenders themselves were pretty solid. I liked the crunchy batter and the chicken for the most part was succulent and juicy with some dry parts. I wish there was more flavoring in it though. It does pair well with the canes sauce which is rich, creamy and flavorful. Wish they gave you more than one little sauce though. The fries were crispy and the toast was buttery and crispy. The coleslaw was also good and provided a nice and fresh element to all the fried food. The sweet tea also paired well with the meal, but I'd say its just okay compared to authentic Southern sweet tea. The staff at this location were nice and I loved the décor, but it was pretty messy and dirty inside. The tables weren't wiped down and there was trash on the floor and it was sticky. Overall, a pretty good first experience at Canes and I would definitely dine again at their locations.

There's a small pocket of parking when you enter but if you drive further there's more parking and the drive-thru. There's nice cool indoor seating and a small outdoor seating in the back. The decor and atmosphere is similar to all others, very chill and not too noisy. There's high table and booth table seating. The service is quick and the staff have always been nice. The food is pretty good for fast food amd for the price. The toasted bread and the sauce is a big standout. The chicken is juicy. The lemonade is great, not too sweet. Plus they have the crushed ice. Definitely worth a visit.

Ordered Box Combo for $13.39. Comes with four tenders, fries, coleslaw, toast, and drink. Tenders and fries were fresh!

Got a kids meal card from an event, so came here to entry it out. I haven't been to any raising canes before. It has a nice vibe. The staff are friendly. The price of the chicken sandwich on its own is not on the menu, but is roughly a dollar less than the meal. The chicken has a nice crunchy outside and still quite moist inside. It is not cheap though.

Quick grab n go food especially in their drive thru line. Ordered the box combo. It was pretty good. Their signature sauce isn't as good as Chick-fil-A's tho. Their chicken strips are tasty tho.

Three piece chicken fingers with fries and Texas toast

I have been waiting forever to try this chain as everyone hypes this place up. I drove by one the other day and immediately pulled in to make this finally happen. Someone, please tell me what the hype is over this place because it wasn't giving these are the best chicken fingers ever - not even close. I got the three piece chicken fingers that came with fries and what they call Texas toast plus a drink. The batter on the chicken fingers was completely flavorless. The alleged Texas toast was nothing more than fluffy buttered bread with no crunch. Why it's called toast is beyond me. The crinkle fries were overall decent but a tad over salted. Now, the house sauce that everyone raves about - it was bland despite visually having a decent amount of pepper and overhyped. You're better off making fry sauce (look up recipe) than using the sauce provided. Needless to say, I can finally say I have tried this place but there's no reason to return. Notable mention for the drive thru guy was very friendly and attentive. Also note that if you're coming off Valley, you'll have to enter off the side street as it says "do not enter" at what one would think are entrances.

Got the caniac combo! It was ready in 1 min!! How!"? We took it to go and still crispy after we got back to our Airbnb which was 15 min away! It's our first time trying raising cane's and it did not disappoint !

This is a 3 piece meal? Need some quality check before it's given to customers

Quantity of food is as important as quality. This is a 3 piece meal? Paid too much for raising canes. Still hungry.

It's always fast and hot. I wish the pieces of chicken were a little more generous, but I can't complain too much for the price. I always substitute the coleslaw for something else, and it's a 50/50 chance that this location gets it right.

They take orders on paper and the bill also came on paper. Now, here's something that really brings back memories -- they way they make their Hainan Chicken -- most places make them with boneless meats (dark or white), which is easy to consume, of course; but this place make them with bones. I recall this was how Hainan chicken was made decades ago when I visited the Chinatown in Singapore. On that trip I learned that Man-Chan is an old city in the Hainan Province in China; and "Man Chan Chicken" is the origin of the worldly popular Hainan Chicken today. So, if you want some old fashion and AUTHENTIC Hainan Chicken, at an old fashion prices, this is the place!!

The coconut "cake" was basic coconut jelly inside a hollowed coconut. Overall this was an extremely overpriced and disappointing meal. Would not return.

When the wings arrived, they looked noticeably different from the photos, so I asked the staff member to confirm which flavor was which. She initially told us that one of the wings was honey mustard--something we did not order. When we pointed that out, she changed her answer and said it was actually the salted egg, even though she had just said it wasn't. The flavor still tasted like honey mustard, not salted egg. The Snow Cheese also didn't resemble cheese in taste or texture; it was an odd wet sauce with no real flavor. The only flavor we enjoyed was the Korean Fire, which was a simple sweet‑and‑spicy sauce. The chicken itself was decent, but the sauces really took away from the overall experience. The ambience was minimal. The restaurant was empty except for me and my fiancé, the walls were plain white with a single chicken‑themed light, and ordering was done through a screen. Only one staff member appeared to be working. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

Well that was ages ago and it wasn't until now that I was able to visit and try out their delicious katsu, which hands down, is super good! I went during National Library Card Month. During the month of September, the city of Monterey Park is running a special where if you have a MPK library card, you can get deals and freebies from businesses and you can get an iced or green tea from Kagura if you show them your library card. I got a cold canned green tea, added to a cup of ice, refreshing and great with the delicious katsu that I got. I did a walk in for a slightly later lunch after dropping by Asayoru Maid Cafe across the street for a drink during their morning Asa shift. I went on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Staff is very friendly and checked up on me several times. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's simple and elegant in it's own way. No extra frills or bells and whistles. There were a couple other tables dining there and pick up orders too, so I can imagine it'd be busy during the weekends and lunch/dinner rushes. They have a paper wait list outside for those times. Limited parking in front of the plaza, but there's a parking structure next door. For my lunch, I got their demi glace loin katsu. It comes with miso soup, a side of rice, huge helping of cabbage salad with dressing, hot mustard, and some small sides of a sweet carrot salad, cucumber pickles, and 2 pieces of potatoes. Each side added a nice balance to flavor. I mention this in some reviews and to my friends that usually you get full because you get tired of the same flavor and texture all of the time, so I really enjoyed the small bites of crunchy texture from sweet, sour, and savory. The katsu is really where Kagura shines, as it's what they're known for. Super moist pork katsu meat inside, deliciously tender delicate layers of meat. The crisp of the breading outside isn't too greasy, but has the perfect level of indulgent oiliness that balances out. All perfect with a fluffy bed of rice and the demi glace brown sauce added a deliciously savory, slightly sort of fruity ketchup-y flavor (added this to my rice too!). Definitely want to come back to try more of their menu!
