I haven't had in n out in over a year. I was craving burgers and saw they are still reasonably priced for fast food. They are slower than I remembered. We ordered upon entering the driveway with a staff member on the left side. The whole process took between 25-30 mins. I was surprised it took that long because we came right before lunch rush. There was only 3 or 4 cars in front of us. The line stated to form behind us after we ordered. Yes the burger was good but I wouldn't come here starving. They might be quicker at the temple city location.

Be prepared to wait a while because they can get busy. I waited for about an hour around 6pm on a Tuesday. Drive through is definitely prioritized! The food is always perfect and amazing. I've gone for so many years and I've never had a complaint! (for this location at least) Always a good choice for when you don't know what you want to eat!

For this specific In-N-Out location, it is a drive thru only spot. There are tables outside, but no inside area. We just got their #1:1 Double-Double Burger, French Fries with extra sauce, & a Medium Drink ($11.20). We ordered around 1 am and there wasn't a lot of people waiting in the drive thru, yet our order took around 15 minutes to make. If we ordered a lot, I would understand but we only bought 1 meal. They even forgot the sauce for the fries. The double double burger was good, but not the best. Honestly, everything was kind of mid, but maybe it was only this location.

The worst In-N-Out I e ever been to. I was the only one in line at the window and waited over half an hour for my food. Bad management, they took all the people in the drive thru first and than their employees came to the wi die and they were give their food before everyone else that was waiting. Waited so long our ice melted

If I had a last meal this is up there.

Yummy Yummy yummy for your tummy. I literally try to find a complaint but there us none. In and Out can do no wrong. I know it's it's just a basic little burger but dang once those animal fries come into play it's just awesome. Anyway delicioso! I still don't know why people wait in these long lines, it's rediculous. In the time they wait and get their food they could have alalready eaten elsewhere. Yeah I just went to the counter, it seems faster.

Got a double double cheeseburger with animal style and grilled onions as well as yellow chili peppers. It was alright. Ordered to go. Service was alright. Lines are long. Place is alright.

Today is Veterans Day, and in my 16 years of active duty and veteran life, I've rarely gone out to collect free meals--maybe once or twice total. I know some people visit multiple restaurants for Veterans Day offers, but it was never something I was really interested in. Today, I was simply craving a burger, so I stopped by my local In-N-Out. While ordering at the drive-thru, I noticed the order taker had a badge honoring veterans. I asked if they were doing anything special today, and--without hesitation--he told me they would be happy to offer me a free meal of any choice. When I got to the window, the young cashier was extremely kind, respectful, and appreciative. She thanked me for my service and made the interaction feel genuine and heartfelt. Honestly, I've never had an experience like this. I always assumed restaurants weren't very enthusiastic about giving away free meals on Veterans Day, but In-N-Out made me feel truly appreciated. Their sincerity showed, and it meant a lot. Thank you, In-N-Out, for honoring veterans in such a meaningful way. I won't forget it.

Honestly I've never had a bad experience with In and Out until I visited this location for the first time. I usually get in and out @ Kettleman location and they are ALWAYS top notch there with service, delicious food and has never gotten me sick. But my first time at the Rosemead location gave me food poisoning and diarrhea for a week straight. I have gone to the toilet at LEAST 3 times a day and it's NOT a fun time. My friend who ordered in and out with me ALSO HAD DIARRHEA for A WEEK straight. WE ARE BOTH SUFFERING. I don't know what the issue is whether it's food safety, hygiene, protocols, etc. I work in food service so this is absolutely disgusting to me because I know how careless some establishments can get. I will probably never go to this location again

1/4/24 How did the city approve this In N Out? Smallest one I have ever seen!

Quality/Quantity - N/A, but consistent with the brand. Atmosphere - This is the smallest In N Out I have ever seen. Not sure if this was a double drive thru, as cars backed out onto the street and down the block. Not sure if there were two entrances for the drive thru...? Not clearly marked...? Tiny parking lot, so I did not want to risk parking and NOT being able to get back out of the lot. We ended up just skipping this location, but we are still loyal customers. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 1am or 1:30am. Service - N/A. Price - N/A. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 387+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good!

WTF? They literally put like 10 pickles in my double double. I ate almost half my burger and realized how many pickles I had just eaten and took SIX MORE OUT. The line took 20 min just for my burger to be BLASTED in pickles and even after taking it out, my patty still tasted like pickle juice

This location must be super popular because the wait for the drive thru was about 25 minutes. I got into the line on Rosemead Blvd at about 9:55pm and I got my food around 10:20pm. The person who takes the order outside is doing both lines and I slightly panicked since I was 2 cars away from the pickup window and he didn't come to take my order. When I got up to the window, there was still a bit of a wait to get my food ready. I rather go to an In-N-Out that has dine in so I can walk in and order my food, I feel like that saves times instead of sitting in the drive thru. My cheeseburger was good. My fries were well done as requested and when I got to my destination, they were still crispy. The shake was delicious but it was thick, so I didn't enjoy it during the drive.

I've always been a regular at this In-N-Out location and never had any issues until my visit on November 12th. This time, the service was completely off, and I left feeling frustrated and even sick. I went through the drive-thru as usual, but right from the start, things felt wrong. The girl taking my order barely gave me a moment to speak before cutting me off and rushing me. It wasn't even busy, so there was no reason for the pressure. Every time I tried to say my order, she interrupted me, which was very overwhelming. She then repeated my order really fast so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When I reached the window, I asked if she could add something to my order because she had rushed me earlier--she didn't seem to care and took the additional order reluctantly. We paid, and when we got home, I realized that one of my orders was completely wrong. Instead of the full cheeseburger I had asked for, I got a plain cheeseburger with just meat and onions. I was hungry, so I ate it anyway, but then the worst part happened: I ended up getting sick from the food. I've never had this kind of experience here before, and whoever was on shift that day--especially the girl taking orders--was unprofessional and careless. It's really disappointing because I've always enjoyed coming here. I hope management addresses this issue, because it was a complete letdown. As you can see the time and date on there-- you will know who was on shift.

:: Food :: Solid food every time, it's such a great value for the freshness. I like the option to skip the buns so I appreciate that they have "protein style." I also really like their Animal fries from the secret menu. :: Service :: Always great service the times I've been. I like how they open til 1AM, for those late night cravings. :: Parking :: Small parking lot. I'd just recommend using their drive-thru. :: Restroom :: None

I've been here a grand total of twice…read more My first experience was problem free. Kudos. The second visit "could've been better" (which Yelp suggests that a 2 star rating would be appropriate to indicate): we placed quite a simple order - 2x Strawberry Sundaes. We took our number placard (#52) and sat at a table to await our order. After patiently waiting what I would estimate to be approximately 15-20 minutes and seeing quite a few other people served their orders, I did find it odd that it was taking so long to prepare 2x sundaes, so I located the young man who took our order and politely inquired about it. He looked a bit confused, exchanged some unintelligible words one of the guys on the grill, and then looked back at me and said it was not our turn yet (or something to that effect). Okay, fair enough. Maybe there were many orders ahead of us. I took it in good stride and went back to my table. After waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes and seeing that *Order #70* was being given their food, I realized that there was a problem and went back up to the ordering counter. I ended up talking with an old man (who I presume is the owner/manager). I explained the situation, and he inquired who had taken our order. I looked around, and the young man appeared to be nowhere in sight, but I did mention it was he who had had taken our order. The old man apologized and assured us he would take care of our order right away. Sure enough, I saw him beeline to the ice cream machine to start our sundaes, and he delivered them to us within 2-3 minutes. He apologized a second time, stating that it was the young man's 2nd day on the job, and that he otherwise would not have forgiven the transgression. In my experience, the resolution to the absurd wait could have been handled worse (in theory, the old man could certainly have told us to pound sand rather than apologizing and immediately attempting to correct the problem and quickly getting our desserts after being made aware of his employee's failure), but also could have been handled better (comping us for the trivial cost of the sundaes as a remedy/cure would have more effectively salved our irritation from the unnecessary waste of 30+ minutes of our life, and would have been in-line with remedial efforts I have experienced at other eateries, including similar fast food/burger joints). All that said, the sundaes were quite good. They would undoubtedly have tasted better had they been served in a time frame reasonable enough to not spoil the mood. I get that this is not a fine dining restaurant of any sort, but I still expect staff competence to be no worse than that of a McDonald's baseline level. I also get that humans make mistakes, but ... how did a simple order of 2x sundaes get botched this badly, particularly after a good faith attempt to bring the matter to staff's attention??

WOOOOHOOOOO a wonderful experience!…read more Alright firstly is the food great, yes! It's a fast-food drive-in burger joint okay so let's talk about it. When I walked last night 15 minutes before close, no one was trying to rush me out and still asked if I wanted to eat there. This was delightful because usually people are completely poops about it. I wish I knew the young man's name who was the cashier he was so kind, outgoing, and just overall super bubbly and friendly. My had a small baby and I went in first to order and then went outside to trade with my husband so he could use the restroom as we waited for our to-go order. Without me sharing any thoughts with my husband the first thing he said when he got back is how supremely friendly the young man was and how he swears his attitude was contagious because he came out with a smile on his face. The food itself as mentioned was great. We took advantage on the specials for the double cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean". Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Food - 7/10 Tops Special Burger - 6.5/10 Honestly, the burger was just okay. The presentation was nice, but everything else was pretty average. The pastrami had good flavor, although some pieces were oddly chewy. The beef patty also tasted like it had been frozen, which kind of just took away from the burger. Chili Cheese Tots - 7.5/10 The tater tots themselves were great, they were perfectly crisp and cooked well, but, the chili cheese was a bit underwhelming, since I could barely taste the chili.
