I haven't had in n out in over a year. I was craving burgers and saw they are still reasonably priced for fast food. They are slower than I remembered. We ordered upon entering the driveway with a staff member on the left side. The whole process took between 25-30 mins. I was surprised it took that long because we came right before lunch rush. There was only 3 or 4 cars in front of us. The line stated to form behind us after we ordered. Yes the burger was good but I wouldn't come here starving. They might be quicker at the temple city location.

Fries (they forgot the sauce that we ordered)

For this specific In-N-Out location, it is a drive thru only spot. There are tables outside, but no inside area. We just got their #1:1 Double-Double Burger, French Fries with extra sauce, & a Medium Drink ($11.20). We ordered around 1 am and there wasn't a lot of people waiting in the drive thru, yet our order took around 15 minutes to make. If we ordered a lot, I would understand but we only bought 1 meal. They even forgot the sauce for the fries. The double double burger was good, but not the best. Honestly, everything was kind of mid, but maybe it was only this location.

Be prepared to wait a while because they can get busy. I waited for about an hour around 6pm on a Tuesday. Drive through is definitely prioritized! The food is always perfect and amazing. I've gone for so many years and I've never had a complaint! (for this location at least) Always a good choice for when you don't know what you want to eat!

If I had a last meal this is up there.

Yummy Yummy yummy for your tummy. I literally try to find a complaint but there us none. In and Out can do no wrong. I know it's it's just a basic little burger but dang once those animal fries come into play it's just awesome. Anyway delicioso! I still don't know why people wait in these long lines, it's rediculous. In the time they wait and get their food they could have alalready eaten elsewhere. Yeah I just went to the counter, it seems faster.

The worst In-N-Out I e ever been to. I was the only one in line at the window and waited over half an hour for my food. Bad management, they took all the people in the drive thru first and than their employees came to the wi die and they were give their food before everyone else that was waiting. Waited so long our ice melted

Got a double double cheeseburger with animal style and grilled onions as well as yellow chili peppers. It was alright. Ordered to go. Service was alright. Lines are long. Place is alright.

Today is Veterans Day, and in my 16 years of active duty and veteran life, I've rarely gone out to collect free meals--maybe once or twice total. I know some people visit multiple restaurants for Veterans Day offers, but it was never something I was really interested in. Today, I was simply craving a burger, so I stopped by my local In-N-Out. While ordering at the drive-thru, I noticed the order taker had a badge honoring veterans. I asked if they were doing anything special today, and--without hesitation--he told me they would be happy to offer me a free meal of any choice. When I got to the window, the young cashier was extremely kind, respectful, and appreciative. She thanked me for my service and made the interaction feel genuine and heartfelt. Honestly, I've never had an experience like this. I always assumed restaurants weren't very enthusiastic about giving away free meals on Veterans Day, but In-N-Out made me feel truly appreciated. Their sincerity showed, and it meant a lot. Thank you, In-N-Out, for honoring veterans in such a meaningful way. I won't forget it.

Honestly I've never had a bad experience with In and Out until I visited this location for the first time. I usually get in and out @ Kettleman location and they are ALWAYS top notch there with service, delicious food and has never gotten me sick. But my first time at the Rosemead location gave me food poisoning and diarrhea for a week straight. I have gone to the toilet at LEAST 3 times a day and it's NOT a fun time. My friend who ordered in and out with me ALSO HAD DIARRHEA for A WEEK straight. WE ARE BOTH SUFFERING. I don't know what the issue is whether it's food safety, hygiene, protocols, etc. I work in food service so this is absolutely disgusting to me because I know how careless some establishments can get. I will probably never go to this location again

WTF? They literally put like 10 pickles in my double double. I ate almost half my burger and realized how many pickles I had just eaten and took SIX MORE OUT. The line took 20 min just for my burger to be BLASTED in pickles and even after taking it out, my patty still tasted like pickle juice

1/4/24 How did the city approve this In N Out? Smallest one I have ever seen!

Quality/Quantity - N/A, but consistent with the brand. Atmosphere - This is the smallest In N Out I have ever seen. Not sure if this was a double drive thru, as cars backed out onto the street and down the block. Not sure if there were two entrances for the drive thru...? Not clearly marked...? Tiny parking lot, so I did not want to risk parking and NOT being able to get back out of the lot. We ended up just skipping this location, but we are still loyal customers. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 1am or 1:30am. Service - N/A. Price - N/A. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 387+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good!

    cheeseburger, fries well done

This location must be super popular because the wait for the drive thru was about 25 minutes. I got into the line on Rosemead Blvd at about 9:55pm and I got my food around 10:20pm. The person who takes the order outside is doing both lines and I slightly panicked since I was 2 cars away from the pickup window and he didn't come to take my order. When I got up to the window, there was still a bit of a wait to get my food ready. I rather go to an In-N-Out that has dine in so I can walk in and order my food, I feel like that saves times instead of sitting in the drive thru. My cheeseburger was good. My fries were well done as requested and when I got to my destination, they were still crispy. The shake was delicious but it was thick, so I didn't enjoy it during the drive.

I've always been a regular at this In-N-Out location and never had any issues until my visit on November 12th. This time, the service was completely off, and I left feeling frustrated and even sick. I went through the drive-thru as usual, but right from the start, things felt wrong. The girl taking my order barely gave me a moment to speak before cutting me off and rushing me. It wasn't even busy, so there was no reason for the pressure. Every time I tried to say my order, she interrupted me, which was very overwhelming. She then repeated my order really fast so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When I reached the window, I asked if she could add something to my order because she had rushed me earlier--she didn't seem to care and took the additional order reluctantly. We paid, and when we got home, I realized that one of my orders was completely wrong. Instead of the full cheeseburger I had asked for, I got a plain cheeseburger with just meat and onions. I was hungry, so I ate it anyway, but then the worst part happened: I ended up getting sick from the food. I've never had this kind of experience here before, and whoever was on shift that day--especially the girl taking orders--was unprofessional and careless. It's really disappointing because I've always enjoyed coming here. I hope management addresses this issue, because it was a complete letdown. As you can see the time and date on there-- you will know who was on shift.

    Not sure

So went to In-N-Out today and asked for a patty with cheese on it. I asked for it with no salt and I opened the box and I get this and also see that it has been heavily salted. Also looks like a piece has been bitten from it. Smh.

festive fast food wrappers (contents include 2 double doubles, 1 hamburger, and 1 fry. all for me, of course.)

I've been here a grand total of twice…read more My first experience was problem free. Kudos. The second visit "could've been better" (which Yelp suggests that a 2 star rating would be appropriate to indicate): we placed quite a simple order - 2x Strawberry Sundaes. We took our number placard (#52) and sat at a table to await our order. After patiently waiting what I would estimate to be approximately 15-20 minutes and seeing quite a few other people served their orders, I did find it odd that it was taking so long to prepare 2x sundaes, so I located the young man who took our order and politely inquired about it. He looked a bit confused, exchanged some unintelligible words one of the guys on the grill, and then looked back at me and said it was not our turn yet (or something to that effect). Okay, fair enough. Maybe there were many orders ahead of us. I took it in good stride and went back to my table. After waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes and seeing that *Order #70* was being given their food, I realized that there was a problem and went back up to the ordering counter. I ended up talking with an old man (who I presume is the owner/manager). I explained the situation, and he inquired who had taken our order. I looked around, and the young man appeared to be nowhere in sight, but I did mention it was he who had had taken our order. The old man apologized and assured us he would take care of our order right away. Sure enough, I saw him beeline to the ice cream machine to start our sundaes, and he delivered them to us within 2-3 minutes. He apologized a second time, stating that it was the young man's 2nd day on the job, and that he otherwise would not have forgiven the transgression. In my experience, the resolution to the absurd wait could have been handled worse (in theory, the old man could certainly have told us to pound sand rather than apologizing and immediately attempting to correct the problem and quickly getting our desserts after being made aware of his employee's failure), but also could have been handled better (comping us for the trivial cost of the sundaes as a remedy/cure would have more effectively salved our irritation from the unnecessary waste of 30+ minutes of our life, and would have been in-line with remedial efforts I have experienced at other eateries, including similar fast food/burger joints). All that said, the sundaes were quite good. They would undoubtedly have tasted better had they been served in a time frame reasonable enough to not spoil the mood. I get that this is not a fine dining restaurant of any sort, but I still expect staff competence to be no worse than that of a McDonald's baseline level. I also get that humans make mistakes, but ... how did a simple order of 2x sundaes get botched this badly, particularly after a good faith attempt to bring the matter to staff's attention??

Unfortunately, it's also a very messy burger that's drenched in its own grease. I had that annoying oily aftertaste desperately clinging onto me after this meal. I felt the urge to shower after eating. On ambiance, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) is lovely. Although it's odd how no music played, I appreciated the big flat screen television displaying the baseball game. The location is also kid friendly since I counted a few high chairs for kids. Also, it's well-shaded, airy, and clean. I appreciate the hard effort towards making this dining area spotless and comfortable. In addition, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has about 10 tables and one long table. Also, there's a nearby gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has potential. Although the meat tastes cheap, it's prepared at an exemplary level. Maybe I'll return in the future, but as of now, it's just an adequate option for customers that like affordable but very greasy food. 3.9 out of 5

I ended up in Montebello by chance and looked to Yelp for some help with lunch. I ended up at a little food court that had a few solid looking options, but sometimes when you see a burger and smell a burger, you simply need to eat the dang burger. There was no line when my wife and I approached the window to order and we ordered a double cheeseburger, a grilled cheese, an order of fries, and a milkshake. Now, instead of simply giving us the price the dude working told us how it was going to take a really long time because he would have to make the burgers and the milkshakes, which ya know, is kind of how it works when you order food. So instead of questioning his logic, I just said forget the shake and ordered the food. The food took literally 8 minutes to come out and I can't imaging the milkshake would of caused that much trouble since they are ordered all the time, but who am I to say? The food was great, as For The Win always is. The french fries were great and so was my burger, but the lackluster interaction with the kid working really put a damp on the experience. Overall, For The Win is still my favourite burger chain in LA and it's going to take a lot for someone to knock them down (although Burgers Never Say Die and Irv's are up there too). Maybe one day, I'll even get to try a milk shake! Hopefully you have a better time ordering then I did.
