I ordered the largest 1/2 lb roast beef sandwich as a meal, large sized. The sandwich had the correct portion of meat on it. My curly fries were hot and fresh, but the carton was not full. It is one of my pet peeves. I want my fries sticking out the top of the carton. The soda fountain was clean, but a little cluttered with extra cup lids that had fallen out of the dispensers. Sauce table was well stocked and clean. The dining room itself was clean and a clean table was readily easy to find. Floor had been recently mopped. Trash cans were maintained and usable. The food was hot and tasty and the dining experience was exactly what I expected. The men's bathroom was clean. It could have used some attention, but it wasn't garishly dirty like so many public restrooms. Overall, the experience was positive enough that I chose to ring the bell on the way out the door. Staff all thanked me for doing so as I left. As I was finishing my meal the dinner rush started and things got very busy. Staff handled it well though, and lines never got long. The only thing I felt let down about in the whole experience, was the price of my meal, but unfortunately, it has more to do with poorly run government than a poorly run store.
