Today it was filthy. The slicing machine was covered with flecks of cheese, meats & bread from previous subs. EVERY TABLE needs to be wiped, let alone sanitized. The "Mike's Way" toppings were disgusting. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes everywhere but in their bins. Guy from the back brought a fresh tray of sub buns to the front rack & shoved them in while half of the top buns brushed against the rack above. He loves it! It's humongous and probably should be shared between 2-4 people...depending how hungry you are that day. I chose a cold sub- the Club because it had Bacon. :) I like that they slice the meat in front of you, it adds to the freshness, and everything is ind of minimal, so you see it all being prepared on a huge white counter. Ok so I am never one to give a chain establishment a 5 star rating but this place deserves it. The competition ie Jimmy Johns, Subway, etc, really do not hold a candle to this place. It is my "go to" place just about every week on my day off for lunch. They have a rewards program, so every so often I get a freebie which is a bonus. The ingredients are always fresh, they slice the meats right in front of you, the bread is always fresh, and the staff always friendly. One of the things I like most about this place is that they know what works and they go with it. They don't try to over complicate things.
