When you walk in, the specials board is front and center, including their Burger of the Month, which is what I ordered. Mine featured goat cheese, spinach, strawberry compote, and jalapeños. The flavor combination was unique and really worked well together, and the burger itself was juicy. Personally, I would have loved a bit more char for those crispy edges, but the flavors were definitely there. It came with rosemary fries that were thin, crispy, and generously seasoned. I added a side of hot honey for dipping, which ended up being an unexpectedly amazing combo. The restaurant has a great beer selection, plenty of TVs for sports, fun retro-style décor, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Even at 9 PM, there were families with kids dining, so it feels very family-friendly rather than a late-night bar scene. Noise levels were low enough that conversation was easy, which I really appreciated. Bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. My main hesitation was pricing. A quesadilla was around $15 and my burger was $20, which pushed dinner for one person with a drink and tip to about $35. While that seems comparable to nearby spots like Boston's, it felt a bit high for casual bar-style dining. Parking is limited, but the location is convenient, just minutes from I-75 and surrounded by other restaurants. Service was amazing. We were sad immediately and she checked back often and said what her favorite thing on the menu was. Overall, good food, creative menu options, and a comfortable atmosphere. With a little refinement and maybe slightly better value, this could easily become a regular stop.

We were told none of the drinks we had upstairs were available downstairs. We changed what we were previously drinking to continue the evening. Every round of drinks required us asking for someone passing by to assist us. Our server finally returned and said she was distracted for a bit. We had asked for additional napkins which she never returned with. After having to wait for quite a while, we still had to ask another waitress to bring our check. Keep in mind that the patio only has 5 or 6 tables that had 10% guests at best. It's difficult to understand why this premium location in Fenton has change names several times over the last few years but with this level of service we experienced I can understand why. It was so bad it seemed almost intentional the second time. Mac and cheese tasted packaged/pre-made with grocery store bacon bits on top. The garlic potatoes were good. We waited for our check for 20 minutes after eating. Staff members were leaned against the bar and talking, scrolling cell phones, playing with their hair - while looking over at us repeatedly. I finally stood up to go to the front and three waitresses all came over at once and took my card. The manager came over to bring the card and apologized for the delay. Wouldn't come back - if this is Fenton's best, go to another town over for dinner!

Their two house beers and several items are $5 each and they have other items also. Predominantly a BBQ joint, their meats are very good and of course the mac and cheese is amazing. I've only been here during non-busy hours so I can't speak to a busy night, but the service has always been spot on and wonderful. Always friendly, and always attentive. My girl ordered the Croque Monsieur and I ordered the #97. I liked hers and she preferred mine so we swapped. The potato salad they brought with my 97 was just meh....the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the mayo-yogurt based dressing was kind of a bummer, but the two different styles of pickles we ordered helped carry the sandwiches.
