I'm always pleased with Pita Way, customer service is always great and the food is delicious!

When I first started buying Pita Way a year ago at their Howell, Michigan location their servings were robust, with plenty of good protein and plenty of sauce or dressing. We loved our Pita Way sandwiches! However, over the past six months the protein and sauces have dwindled dramatically, and you have to pay extra for a nice serving. Last bought a sandwich in June 2025 and will not return. We truly do not mind paying for a good sandwich, but they are not the same anymore. They had such a good product, it really is too bad they are no longer the generous "pita" we used to love. read more

This is one of the best restaurants in Fenton, including some non-chains. My first time in, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. The employee seemed excited to take me on a journey (no other word for it) through their entrees, toppings, and sides, and answered every question I had with enthusiasm. Every time since, I have received that same excellent service. The employees are always friendly, sometimes jokey, and overall just contribute to a fun environment for everyone. The food is so good, and I would truly eat it every day if I could (it's become a joke at work that whenever we order lunch I suggest Pita Way without fail). All their dishes are customizable, but I have now gotten my perfect order down and it's great every time. Why do I recommend PitaWay? 1. The service was exceptional. I went in for the first time not knowing the menu or what they offered. I was greeted by a very sweet young lady who walked me through the menu. 2. I ordered. The same sweet young lady made suggestions and offered to let me try before I bought. How awesome! 3. I ordered. She took great care and pride in her job and 4. The food was excellent! I took home the sandwiches for my husband and I and he said what a pleasant surprise this was for him. I couldn't agree more! This is a Chipotle-style operation where you choose your platform. your protein, toppings, etc. And they do it well. I got a hummus/tabouli bowl, only on account of the person in front of me getting one--I didn't know it was an option, but I was glad I saw the other person getting it because it was very good. I'd planned on settling for a lettuce salad. I did think the signage could have given a little clearer explanation of all the choices, though the staff handled my questions cheerfully. Hummus was very smooth and creamy with just the right lemon/garlic levels. Tabouli seemed fresh, and moist without being soggy. The various other veggie toppings I had were good too, though the chicken shawarma was a little bland. At least it was tender. It's nice to have places like this just off the highway--a great break from standard fast food offerings. Not as cheap as a Big Chain Burger, but sometimes you do get what you pay for. read more

I had their Gyro sandwich here, what a great sandwich. You can customize the fillings to your taste and it is really a fresh, flavorful sandwich made on a pita bread in the form of a roll up, a lot like a Shawarma. Cost, about nine dollars read more

This place is just fantastic. They are always friendly and the food is great. Love the hummus here. They make your pita right then and there and it's ready in just a few minutes. I have never had an unpleasant experience and the food always tastes fresh. Highly recommend giving them a try. This place rocks! We love their Mediterranean food and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Being plant based eaters, Pita Way makes it easy to have a wonderful meal without animal products. Pita Way has great Falafels, hummus and plenty of toppings to make a tasty meal. We usually get a bowl which is big enough to provide left overs. And..it's really good as left overs. Great restaurant, food is always good, staff is friendly and most meals are enough for leftovers the next day. My favorite and go to meal are the bowls. Kids eat free and mini combo is on sale saturday, sundays, and Monday which I have done for lunches through the week. read more

I really enjoy this place. My family gets take out about once a week or so. The beef kafta is my favorite and of course the chicken shawarma. The fire sauce isn't really that spicy in my opinion but worth trying if you haven't. Only downside is the garlic sauce is not as fresh as I would like. I know fresh garlic sauce and know as it ages it loses its strength. It has more of a lemon taste if anything. Def try the bowls or get a family feast. Great portions! read more

I ordered food at 11:05 they did not start to work on it until I walked the door at 11:23 and only because I brought it to their attention, It was a pick up order. They asked if I was at the right place after I insisted that I ordered it to the correct place I had to show them a receipt in which case they still couldn't find it and when they did find it because they said it had the wrong name which may have been my mistake however, that still did not make any sense on why the food wasn't made and ready to pick up especially after I ordered it at 11 and I did not receive my food until 1130. This food was for my daughter at school which is why I ordered it online for a PICK UP and walk out. I then had to deliver a very poorly made sandwreach that wasn't even grilled . And they didn't start making anything until I demanded a refund. They should not be offering pick up services especially if that's how they're going to treat their orders that they don't even get right. They really should've just given me my refund and now they have wasted my time and my daughters time which is very precious to me. read more

I like Pita Way a lot for a quick, fresh, light option for on-the-fly mealtimes. I always get a bowl with a hummus base, so I can't speak to their other options like sandweeches or quesopitas. The shawarma lacks flavor, so I usually opt for the chicken tawook, which could also have more depth of flavor, but is fine. The toppings are fresh and cool, which I really appreciate! Tried Pita Way for the first time today and all I can say is how unimpressed I was. Ordered a fattoush salad that was not anything special and the dressing was terrible. Tried to dip my salad in it and had to throw it away because of how oily and thick it was. It's overpriced and not up to par with its competitor La Marsa down the street. Won't be back. read more

This place sucks I found hair in my food. And when I walked In nobody said hi they looked at me like I was a big ball of spaghetti.

For starters, the food was really good and fresh. I was greeted by which seemed to be the owner or head cook. I felt a little rushed because of the amount of people waiting for their food or still waiting to be rung up. Granted it was 6pm so I'm sure they were experiencing a rush. I would recommend having at least one or 2 other staff members behind the counter. Overall, it was worth the wait and I'll be back!! read more
