Great sub but price is a little high for a 12" sub. The sub was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The employees were friendly and eager to assist but the cashier was missing some time in math class. Just to give you some context if something cost $15.24 I'm gonna pull out a quarter to keep from getting a bunch of ones and more change. On this visit, I gave the cashier change to round it out. It's unbelievable that I haven't gotten to try this earlier but I finally got around to it. It is a sandwich shop that has a large array of sandwiches to choose from. They cut the meat right there at the counter which I think adds to the quality. The sandwich I tried was the Original Italian. I got the large version on white. It comes with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. I didn't get any veggies on it but got some blended oil and chipolte mayo on there. Even without the veggies that most people fill a sandwich with this one would fill even the hungriest person. Tons of meat and cheese really made me a happy fellow. All of the meats worked well together as did the oils with the ham and salami. The Chipolte mayo was a fantastic addition as well. They also had some Sun Chips for the sides as well as a "rookie cookie" for being a first time customer. The staff was awesome and really patient as I was probably ordering all wrong and stuff. Friday night.....what better than Jersey Mike's !!! During this difficult trying time my family needed to switch it up to Jersey Mikies! We as a large family always go to the JM by Huston road in Florence! Never ever could we finish a large between two of us! The cheese, meat, lettuce tomatoes and onion, oil/vinegar piled HIGH! So succulent each and every time ! Our go to JM was closed so we found that the JM on Mt Zion was open!!!! YEAH.....SCORE!! We as a family were so excited!!! We ordered 3 giant Italian hero's !! Drove way out of our way to pick up sandwiches. Got home to open 3 giant hero's to find the biggest disappointment ever.......this is exactly per giant hero for the entire sandwich 2 slices of ham , 3 slice salami, 2 tomatoes , 2 pieces cheese, barely a thin layer of lettuce. Few slivers onion, oil and vinegar........all three giant sandwiches were made exactly the same!!!! The entire family was so disappointed ...it ruined the excitement of our anticipation to eat!!! These hero's were made worse than SUBWAY!!! This is no joke ! We as a large family will never patronize the Jersey Mike's on Mt Zion! $50 dollars later......more than disappointed. The event: Went here Wednesday June 4th 2014 at 6:37pm. Waited on by Erin. Ordered Giant #7 Combo with chips and large drink. Told Erin I wasn't a ham fan so he offered to drop the ham, and add some more bacon or turkey for me. Thanked him for that. Asked for paper plate since I ordered extra vinegar. Messy, but good I thought - WRONG ! Total was $16.88. The background; I absolutely LOVE Jersey Mike's Subs at Fields Ertel Road exit in Mason, OH. Often there. My favorite sub sandwich is Giant #7. The issue: At this location Erin, and two (2) other employees told me they or their Manager will be fired if they give out a SINGLE paper plate (cost 3 cents at Costco). Now that is a paper plate for a $16.88 sandwich. For $17.00 I can get a small filet mignon and salad bar at Ruby Tuesday or Applebee's. HINT: GO THERE ! RUN FROM HERE!!! So I called to speak with Caroline or Peter Cancro at Jersey Mike's HQ in New Jersey to relate them to my story. Peter and Caroline make it a point that you cannot reach them. I was not able to speak with them, since both their gate keepers Melissa and Peggy do their best to keep reality from settling in and do all possible NOT to allow customers to speak with HQ owners. They also re-directed me to the local regional manager, Joe who runs three (3) stores in Northern KY and two (2) across the river. Joe also confirmed that paper plates aren't provided. Joe also confirmed that the policy is no paper plates!!! The bottom line: Any business who causes fear for employees from giving out a SINGLE paper plate from a locked back room on a 'princely priced' submarine lunch meat sandwich and makes it difficult to get a paper plate, and hassles customers to get a paper plate from a locked store room, shows it's true colors. These things come from the top down. This cannot be blamed on employees. It is a Corporate Culture thing right from the top down. No amount of BS will make me feel otherwise. And a business whose CEO who will not speak to customers, or makes it very difficult shows its true colors. And a local franchisee who allows his regional manager to simply let me write a YELP review because he: (a) has no control over Corporate. (b) has no control over his Owner-Boss. (c) honestly has no idea why employees will not provide me a paper plate in first (1st) breath, but in the second (2nd) breath says it is INDEED policy is clueless or not truthful. Which is worse? I'm not sure... . You be your own Judge. (d) when Corporate also tells me a paper plate policy is a LOCAL decision. I told Joe I had no choice but to write a Yelp Review. He said "OK"... so here I am. That was easy. Don't fix it. Let customers write the truth. Another MAJOR weakness. Some of the better sandwiches you can find, even though it is a chain. The original is always good and make sure to get it Mike's way, which is how we eat then back in Jersey, no mayo, oil and vinegar will do just fine. Usually a pretty nice staff there and fast getting people through. read more

This is the absolute worst Jersey Mike's to visit. I would choose another location. I've never had good service or a correct order at this location. My last bad experience had to do with me needing to add a sub to my order after I already ordered. I was told I could not add to my order and would have to wait in the line again which was 15 people deep. I already waited 30 minutes to place my original order. I've always loved Jersey Mikes and the one thing that has always stood out to me about them is their excellent customer service. This location was the complete opposite of any experience I have ever had at a Jersey Mikes. I have worked several several customer service jobs and I understand we all have bad days, but this was completely unacceptable. Everyone was super friendly besides the bigger girl with a scorpio tattoo on her wrist, I tried to ask her name but she got extremely angry. To start off my mom had asked her to go easy on the onions as she was putting them on, she grabbed the onions off the sub and threw them while sighing and rolling her eyes. She did the same thing whenever anyone had asked for something not to be on their sub, even when they originally ordered it. My friend had never been to jerseys but I told her to get the sandwich mikes way with no onions, when she asked for mikes way no onions the lady threw a fit and told my friend to "read the sign, i don't have time for this." Everyone else who seemed to be working with her seemed scared and skiddish around her. I can't help but wonder if she treats her co workers like this too. I have never had a worse customer service experience, and something needs to be done about her. read more

Coming from Colunbus I absolutely love some Jersey Mikes however this location I have found very disappointing. The food doesn't taste as fresh as the other locations and the service is horrid. I have gave them about 5 try's and will not go again. As you visit you will mist likely find your server out front smoking as you walk in. You could be lucky and find a clean table but maybe not? Walked in, ordered 2 subs from some young lady transitioning to a boy ( that's the only way to explain the facial hair). Paid to much, and waited 20 minutes even though I was the only one in the store. From what I could tell there were 3 people making two sandwiches, when they were finally ready, another one of the Harvard brain trust comes out , I pretend not to notice he is stoned, and he pretends to not be stoned. The food is great but the customer service is the main reason I keep going back. Every time I go in I'm treated so nicely and the employees actually seem to enjoy being there which is great cause who actually enjoys working. But they never show any irritation or anything.
