I rarely eat deli meat since it's highly processed but we were in the area. Never tried JM's before, L wanted to compare it to the deli near his work. The last time I had Subway was probably over 12 yrs ago. Subway is really bad. I ordered for pick up, an Italian and a Cheesesteak with extra meat. It was ready in 15 mins. I couldn't eat it till 30 mins later at the mall. The beef cheesesteak was still warm and it was pretty good. I've only had prob 3 in my life... The meat was so tender. I don't usually eat American cheese but it was still nice and melted with the meat. The sandwich was so rich but tasty. Lots of flavor. I actually ate more than half of the reg size. Very filling but I did order extra meat. The original.. tasted good but next time I'll opt out oregano since L doesn't care for it ..but everything else was great. Everything tasted fresh. I haven't had a deli sandwich in so long. It reminded me of when Blimpies used to be at the old Queens Center. Pick up was ready at the time my app said it would be. Unfortunately my kids like the sandwiches. This location is the worst. I have never had anything come correct or on time. Saturday I placed an order on the app for pickup. I came to get my order and they told me they didn't have an order for me, then I showed the receipt on my phone. After a few minutes they told me that I already had my order picked up. All they would say is that they know they made the sandwiches. No apologies just accusations. I waited for a resolution but no one told me anything. I then asked for a refund but that was going to be an ordeal. In the end, I waited an extra 10 minutes for my order. Is it the biggest deal no but it seems to be an issue that occurs at this location. As I was leaving, I asked to speak to the manager to ask her about the situation. Normally someone would apologize to the customer. Instead, she was defensive, continued to make it seem like I did something wrong. The other issue I have which has been continuous issue is there's no real way to get help when you place an order on the app. You can send an email for feedback, but I've actually never gotten a response from that. read more

On Saturday night 03/22/25 coming from dance class in manhattan we wanted to pick up something to eat and a sweet treat . We were already on Queens Blvd and I remembered a bakery in Forest Hills but when we turned on continental ave we saw a Jersey Mikes Subs (hero sandwich ) hit the brakes and ran in ! I got the roast beef and provolone cheese with everything! They were very nice since it was close to closing time and we couldn't order through the app! My buddy got the ham and provolone sandwich both were stuffed with meat and very fresh! Too much oil and vinegar! My Super Sub #6 here are always super soaked with too much oil and vinegar to the point where the bread is a soggy spongy mess holding the meat. This Jersey Mikes doesn't have indoor seating so getting it to go is your only option so the bread becomes even more of a colossal mess by the time you take a bite. To remedy this I always ask for no oil and vinegar but it's always 50/50 on the location get it right or mostly wrong. The very last time I ordered I paid more for extra meat and they got that wrong too. The next time I visit I'll have to order in store which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead by hopefully means the order will be correct if I can see it being made in front of me. read more

I had the giant sub with turkey & cheese with lettuce mayo mustard salt & Pepper oíl & vinegar jalapeños,the works, they could have put more turkey on the sandwich. my wife ordered a tuna fish hero with lettuce salt & Pepper oíl & vinegar. I tasted her sandwich it was tasty, but the bread was soggy. Both sandwiches tasted good ,but or only gripe with the sandwiches were the bread got soggy fast. I keep giving this place a chance but they keep disappointing. I understand lunch rushes are busy and I don't mind waiting a little longer than the stated time. My order was to be ready by 1210, I got there at 1220 and it was not ready. I ended up standing there for another 30 min, watching many other mobile orders be made, before asking for a refund. The lady noted my order was right there and would be done soon. After another 10 min, I asked about it and she pointed at the counter and walked away. The person putting the toppings asked the girl about my order. She moved my sandwich to the front and made it but my second sandwich wasn't there. At that point, the guy making the sandwiches asked about my order and just said he would refund the whole order and to give me the completed sandwich. The original lady took the completed sandwich and never gave it to me as I waited for my refund. When they refunded me, they only refunded half my order and ended up having to wait another 5 min for her to complete the rest of the refund. I ended up leaving without anything after almost an hour waiting. I mobile ordered chipotle a few blocks down and it was ready under 10 min. Be ready to either wait a while and/or just be completely forgotten until someone maybe asks about you. It's new in the area so I wanted to check it out. It's like a deli with very limited options. I guess it's fine if you want a cold Italian on a hero. I just don't get why a sandwich shop would have less sandwich choices than a corner store or bodega or even supermarket deli. A bodega will make you whatever you want - hot, cold, toasted, lots of toppings options, breakfast sandwiches, round rolls, wraps, min 5 types of cheese, countless deli meats, chicken, burgers, chopped cheese, wings, tacos, gyro, the possibilities are literally endless. Best sandwich spot that beats any local bodega. I always get a turkey provolone on rosemary bread with all the vinegar, oil, provolone and cherry pepper relish, chipotle mayo! Highly reccomend it. Jersey Mike's showed up in the Forest Hills area. I think about a year ago close by they used to be a subway sandwich shop which closed and Jersey Mike's came to the rescue. Thank goodness. I don't know why I never heard of this franchise before, but it is fantastic. The ingredients are fresh tasting, and they look to be real cold cuts and meat and tuna fish unlike the aforementioned subway franchise. I typically get the giant sandwich eat half and save the other half for the next day. I've even had a few catered sports events at my place and everyone enjoyed the subs sandwiches, there was even a convert who started going to Jersey Mike's after that day. read more

They handled all orders plus people in and out with efficiency. Actually paused to listen to everyone's sandwich specifications and communicated well with each other- even tho busy. Honestly not sure how folks are saying this is better than subway. The quality is on par for me and the size of the Regular was really small for $10+ I got the chicken cheesesteak and it had an unexpected sweetness to the peppers? or whatever ingredient was in it that was off-putting to get in a bite. Jersey Mike's is a great addition to the neighborhood! Tried it for the 1st time ever this week. I ordered a giant #13 The Original Italian. All subs are made to order and the meats are not pre-sliced like Subway and are fresher and higher quality than Subways. So tastes better than Subway subs, at least in my opinion. I planned on only eating half of the giant sub and saving the other half for the next day. But I ended up eating the other half a few short hours later. Store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I'll definitely be back to try more of their subs. read more

Never had Jersey Mike's. Had the Philly cheesesteaks. It's not like the Philly I had in Philly. But what do I know. I think the white sauce was too sweet. But it was still good. Space is very tight. Felt a bit disorganized in there when people were ordering and picking up food. I didn't like how there's no safety mask, considering it's a tight space and people were talking over the food. Whoever knew Jersey Mikes tasted this good. I heard many great things about it but it wasn't until the forest hills locations opened up and I got to experience it for myself. Out of all the subs I was told to get the tuna sub. Thank god I did. It's life changing. I order the tuna sub on white bread with lettuce, onions, honey mustard, pepper, oil, vinegar and tomatoes. I order the regular size and it was such a mess but tasted amazing I wanted it for the lunch the next day but made a few adjustments. No vinegar, but still a little messy then I took out the oil so now I get the vinegar and oil on the side. I'm in love with this tuna sub that I started buying it at least 3x a week for lunch. I got to experience the mini and regular size. I normally order from the App but there times I order in store. They make the subs right in front of you. This location is clean.
