Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers on Austin Street in Forest Hills is hands down the most efficient, organized, and welcoming fast-food restaurant I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You have the option to order at a kiosk or directly with a cashier, and no matter which you choose, the food comes out fresh and piping hot. The staff truly works as a team. Everyone knows their role, checks in to make sure you don't need anything, and keeps the line moving quickly. Between customers waiting for mobile orders, others picking up to-go orders, and people dining in, the entire staff handles everything seamlessly. They run such a tight ship that you're pretty much in and out in under five minutes, which is impressive for how busy it gets. The reason we stopped in was because my family and I were running errands. We had gone into Bath & Body Works to pick up an order we placed a few days prior and decided to grab something quick to eat for the baby. My daughter can be picky, so when she said yes to chicken fingers, I went with her into Raising Cane's and let her order what she wanted. She chose the Caniac Combo, which comes with a drink, fries, 6 -piece chicken fingers, coleslaw, Texas toast, and 2 Raising Cane's sauces. When I tell you she devoured it, she devoured it. She absolutely loved it, and that says a lot because she's not really a French fry person. The moment she started eating the fries too, I knew we were onto something. The only downside to the experience was with the Raising Cane's app. Every time I try to place an order, I get an error message saying, "Unable to add membership to loyalty scheme." I honestly have no idea what that means. I brought it up to one of the managers, who took a picture of the error message and said she would pass it along to IT. She reassured me that I'd still get emails, but the issue is that I can't place orders through the app, which is frustrating since I don't live close enough to just stop by physically whenever I want. That being said, the food was so good that I still ended up ordering Raising Cane's 2 more times back-to-back after this visit. Despite the app issue, the quality of the food, the speed of service, and the professionalism of the staff make this location a standout. If efficiency, friendliness, and consistently great food matter to you, this Raising Cane's delivers.
I've visited this spot a few times since they recently opened and I'm in love. I've tried them before out of town and they were good but now they're great, lol. As soon as you walk in the door you immediately hear staff greeting you. You have the option to order from the kiosk or directly from the counter. I go direct to the counter because i always order a combo without a drink. I haven't used the dine in so I don't need a drink. This spot can get busy but the staff worked fast and keep the lines moving. I also love that you don't have to wait long for your food. I've only tried one of their sauces(cane sauce)that you have to pay extra for but it's worth it to me. I'm so happy to have this chicken spot in my neighborhood. Definitely check this place out, because I'll definitely be back.
Seriously, I've been missing out on eating delicious chicken bites right here in forest hills! This was my first time eating at Raising Cane and yes I really liked their crispy chicken sandwich served on toasted bread buried with creamy sauce. And their French fries were the real deal! Nicely cut, slightly crispy, not too salty, and tasted just perfect with ketchup. I must say their lemonade is yum yum! Felt this location was small, but cozy, super well maintained and definitely gives a nice vibe with its bright red colors. The staff were quick, attentive and had great customer services. Thank you!
When I came here, it wasn't as busy but I know it can be packed as it is in the middle of Forest Hills. Staff were friendly, greeted me and was very helpful when taking my order. The place itself is a nice fun vibe with all their brand decor and lights. The food itself was good. I've only had food from Raising Canes twice and the chicken and fries was consistent. It's not my go to for chicken but can be if I wanted some decent good chicken tenders.
Surprisingly empty when we arrived during prime lunch time during the holiday break. We were greeted when we walked in which was nice. Two digital kiosks are available for you to order but one was broken. Fairly simple and easy menu as they specialize in chicken tenders. Food came out fast and hot. Got the 6 piece combo which has chicken tenders, cole slaw, texas toast, fries and a drink for $20. Seating is decent but the three tables of four are tight. The angle at the tabe closet to the wall opposite entrance aren't comfortable for four seaters. The tenders were good and even better with sauce. The fries were good, lightly salted and fried. The slaw was as slaw should be. Texas toast was nice and buttery. The food was fresh and hot - can't complain. It's a heavy meal with all the fried stuff but worth a try if you haven't been to a Raising Canes.
Went back to pickup my certificate for the Box. Was saving my reward for my kids when they returned from university but hubby said they eat Raising Cene's all the time now so it was all mine! I enjoyed everything! I usually am not a fan of coleslaw but theirs was just right. And the garlic bread on their bread wud just airy & fresh! Chicken fingers with their sauce so yummy! I even saw they got a mini replica of the Queens the Workd's Borough in their display case - so cool! Was super fast even on a Saturday probably was earlier and cold out. Place is still new & very clean. Got a better view of the space and very nicely decorated for the holidays also. Was bummed they sold out that cute doggie.
Checked out the new location in Forrest Hills...very clean with several tables to park and eat. I ordered the Big Box Combo and did takeout instead. It came with 4 large chicken tenders, which were very moist w/not a whole lot of wasted extra batter but could have used a bit more flavor. The crinkle fries were crispy and not too salty. Good amount of tasty Canes sauce (creamy, mild, secret bbq flavor - not sure if they offer other flavors). The Texas toast was ok and could use a little more garlic/butter flavor. Don't know if they make their own or store bought. Coleslaw was tasty. Again not sure if homemade or store bought. In terms of cost, maybe just a little overpriced but may be ok considering all the nearby competitors.
Chicken is really good and so are the fries. Don't love the sauce as much as everyone else but it's fine. Coleslaw isn't great but toast is good. Fast food but can definitely eat there. Pretty clean. Wish they served more than just tenders. Good service and quick.
Raising Cane's often has a very appealing environment, almost Applebee's-esque in its look and feel. That said, the food itself can be underwhelming and, at times, disappointing. The atmosphere is consistently upbeat, and the staff is always welcoming and extremely helpful. They're trained almost like T-Mobile customer service representatives, focused on making customers as happy as possible, regardless of the limited menu. Ironically, the standout item is the French fries: crinkle cut, well-salted, and flavorful. While a straight cut fry might be more filling, these are undeniably tasty.
Incredible service as they start their journey in Austin street. They are fast and friendly, might I add PACKED!? You can order at the counter or order at an iPad kiosk. Raising canes isn't my favorite chicken spot BUT it's awesome to have this as an option for something fast and close to the train!
Came here when it first opened and it was packed! While there are other Raising Cane's locations in NYC, this one was packed due to the hype of a branch opening in Forest Hills. It is a clean space with friendly employees; however, the food was not worth the hype. The chicken fingers were salty and the fries were soggy. The only thing that saved the chicken fingers was the signature sauce. We wouldn't get Raising Cane's again but you should try it and see what you think.
Hi so I came here today after school and I ordered the box it was going good until I was on the last two tenders a raw smell came to my nose I almost threw up and I never reported something before I was always scared and went through but that day I reported it and it went well it was a tall brown/dark man i told him and he apologized and told me to dispose of it and he will replace! And later he checked in with me to make sure it was going good! Thank you so much i feel motivated to speak up and hope everyone gets a amazing experience like this

I ordered the chicken burger and absolutely loved it. It was so tasty. The sauce I added was savory and paired perfectly with both the chicken tenders and the generous portion of fries. The buns were incredibly soft, which I really enjoyed. The only issue was with how the burger was wrapped. It wasn't completely secured as part of the presentation, so when I picked it up, the soft bun folded and one of the chicken tenders fell onto the table. I ended up finishing the burger with just the remaining piece, which was a bit disappointing. That said, I shared my feedback with the team lead, and she was very gracious in listening and immediately informed the kitchen staff, which I appreciated. I also enjoyed the unsweetened tea. The place itself was neat, and the condiments area was well organized. Overall, it was a good experience, just slightly dampened by the burger mishap. read more
Stopped by the Raising Cane's location for lunch and came away impressed. The ordering process is kiosk-based, which kept things moving and avoided the usual line bottleneck. Seating is open and the space feels clean, modern, and well laid out. Food-wise, this is a simple concept done well. The chicken fingers were fresh, well-fried, and not greasy. Fries were standard crinkle-cut, nothing special but consistent. The Texas toast was a nice addition and well prepared. The Cane's Sauce is clearly central to the meal and does most of the flavor work. The biggest surprise was portion size. One combo was easily enough for two people with leftovers, which is not something you usually say about fast casual in NYC. read more

I'm a foodie who had Raising Canes out in New Orleans and this trash is not what's served up out of New York. The chicken fingers is small and the sauce is definitely different. If this was my franchise I'd shut this store and Times Squares location down or change up chefs. $21 do not justify this quality of food. Great Customer Service!!! Walking in I was surprised because I was greeted by the entire restaurant. I visited two weeks ago and I WILL be coming back. My food came out hot and quickly, even my husband was shocked. We have visited other Raising Canes in the area but none like this one! I believe he was the manager came over to our table to check up on us and his name was Hectir. Very nice gentleman gave us a refill and even offered to try their honey mustard. I didn't even know they had. Restaurant was also clean and very new. I loved the decor!!! read more

Place looks clean, service is quick, music is a little loud. Chicken piece is average for the price, lemonade is good. Tried the cane's sauce, not bad. I will skip the chicken sandwich and Texas toast, not a big deal. read more
