I used to be a Mike's skeptic, but I've been won over. The sandwiches were too bready for me, so I asked if they could take the bread out like JJ's does, and they said of course. That improved the quality of my sandwich tenfold. I hate a bready sandwich. The quality is top tier. Prices are maybe a touch high, but seems merited given the quality. They always get my orders right and are happy to accommodate my requests. One thing - please get some ketchup hahaha!! I love ketchup on my cheesesteaks and it was the only thing I was missing when I tried one last week. All the other sandwiches I've tried here have been delicious (with the bread taken out), and I love that they offer Stubborn Soda made with real sugar. A Big Kahuna chicken cheesesteak sandwich ordered on their site with no mayo or mustard. All veggies, add avocado. Rosemary Parmesan bread. Paid for with a 15 min wait. I went in to get it. Clean, safe and practiced! There was a long line and luckily, it was already ordered. I just went up to the front and told the worker. She turned around, asked for the name and it was ready and handed over with a thank you! Lunchtime! Sandwich split in half. My half was really great! Fresh bread and ingredients with fresh and tasty avocado and tomato. Plus, it had a great, spicy kick too! Mother said her half was great too! She said it tasted fresh and was hot! Great heat! I really like a good deli sandwich. My go-to here has been the #9 with provolone. It's got roast beef, turkey, and bacon. The unique topping is the relish. It's amazing. The relish is tangy and spicy. I like spicy. It's just a great sandwich! If I had my way, they'd bring back the chicken Parmigiano sandwich and add pastrami to the menu. The cashier applied the coupon wrong and I ended up paying more than I was supposed to. When I brought it up, the manager came out right away and was the sweetest! First of all we had to try and find an employee. All four girls were in the back listening to music so loud they could not hear customers coming into the store. Not one even cracked a smile or even acted like they wanted to be there. Worst customer service ever. The food is decent. They are a little skimpy on the meat and the prices have really climbed. They make decent sandwiches but be careful if you order it Mike's Way. Way too much oil and vinegar. I ordered a Baja chicken wrap without cheese. The sandwich was prepared quickly and the sandwich tasted fresh with a good flavor. The jalapeños actually made it quite spicy but I ate it anyhow. I am rating this place a 3/5 stars mainly because the sandwiches are quite pricey and I don't feel they are worth the value. I bought 2 wraps, 1 meatball sandwich, 1 bottle of water and 1 fountain drink and it came out to over $30. I don't think it was worth the value. Popped in for a quick bite to go while visiting from out of town, and had a wonderful experience. The employee who served me (Cassandra) was very professional and kind. Her greeting upon me entering the restaurant was a cheerful, and courteous one. I felt as if I was the only customer in the store. She has such a good attitude and is the type of employee any owner would appreciate having. The food was exceptionally good! Fresh, well prepared, and very enjoyable. Decided to drop by and get a sandwich. I always go to this specific location since it's closest to where I live. Walked in and was greeted, gentlemen was helping a lady who ordered a #14. I stood there so I can place my order and two ladies came from the back and put on gloves and started to grab tickets for online orders(door dash,grubhub). Kept waiting and they prioritized making those orders for another 7-10 minutes. Finally one of the girls came to take my order which was a #42 giant. More customers came in and placed orders and yet no one was on the grill making the hot sandwiches. A lady from the lobby told them that the ceiling had a leak(it was raining) so employee decides to stop working and go take a picture of the leak. I had to run errands at The Marketplace at El Paseo, so I stopped at Jersey Mike's to pick up lunch on my way back to work. I ordered a cold roast beef sandwich, sort of Mike's way...I skipped the onions. No fountain drinks right now due to Covid, but they had bottled sodas, cold and ready to drink. I also get a bag of Salt and Vinegar chips...yum! The sandwich bread was good, soft, yet chewy. I enjoyed my sandwich, good roast beef and it was a good size. Workers inside were very rude. I usually order online but today I went inside and their customer service was horrible. They can write down and ask you what sandwich you want, and if you want it to go, but they don't ask you what kind of bread that you want? It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the bread choices are "upon request" nowhere inside does it say that. What if I had a gluten intolerance? The workers didn't apologize about the miscommunication, but seemed irritated about remaking the sandwich and didn't make it the way I had first asked them to, as ingredients were missing. I felt uncomfortable even asking them remake it. My sisters requested the bread change after hearing my dilemma, for both of their sandwiches, but only received a bread change for one. My sister had also asked for some things on the side and they just slid it over at her without saying anything or looking at her. They did not hand it to her or say anything like "enjoy your meal" like any normal worker in customer service would. My sister overheard the workers talking about us saying "it must be their first time here." Who knows what else they were saying behind the counter, but they were clearly annoyed about us not knowing how the ordering process works. Totally created a hostile environment where I couldn't even enjoy my food. Don't know what's so hard about being nice to customers over something so simple. If you're going to handle other people's food at least show some hospitality. I don't want people touching my food who aren't happy about where they're working. Gave this place another shot. Sometime your sandwich has a good amount of meat and sometimes hard nothing. The employee's are rude and have a very condescending attitude. I had enough shore points to receive a free regular. However, Ms Rudeness created her own rule and would not allow me to get my free regular because I had ordered a giant. This company hires these children to work for them and these have no managerial training at all. There is one young man at the Riverside location is ver personable and professional. I do not know his name but he is very tall with dark hair and he is management.
