Today I went to order my sandwiches. I usually go every Tuesdays but unfortunately yesterday it was closed and I went in today I walk in. They don't greet you. They don't smile. Hayden took my order today and usually every time I go in I see him but never smiles. I just happen to ask him if he smiles or can he smile common sense. wherever you work, you're supposed to have a smile on your face no matter what you're going through if you're sick or in pain fake the smile it's only customer service as I asked him. He told me that I was rude for asking him that and that if I ever told a woman that and I told him I tell everybody that you're supposed to smile when you're in a workplace, it makes a difference to other people, but I guess that restaurant they don't believe in that and they don't never smile or greet you bad service there not even friendly. I will never go back again and this place is the closest one to my house. I guess I have to go somewhere else now take my money where they appreciate it. Purchased a half salad today for $9 and received 20 squares of lettuce....why do you even have two different sizes for a salad? Just stick with one option and put some freaking lettuce in it. The amount of toppings I recieved for my 20 squares of lettuce probably exceeds $9. More lettuce would greatly offset your lose on this menu item. 2 years ago this place was the BEST but currently it's horrible! Rude staff. Sounds half asleep when answering the phone. NEVER get online orders correct. Sandwiches barley have any ingredients on them. Never have soups available. I know times are tough as far as getting good employees but I don't see this location surviving much longer till they get better staff. read more

Normally I love this place and their food. Today I ordered a 21 with fries and a drink. Didn't get the drink which I could chalk up to my friend not grabbing the cup and got about 8 fries in the bottom of a fry bag for the order. Definitely not worth the 4.95 extra I paid. This location is going down in terms of quality and management. Staff just doesn't care in terms of making sure orders are correct. They've messed up my orders 2-3 times now. I would give this zero stars if I could. I understand that yes I am visiting a store and purchasing food being made by a person during the pandemic, but normally these people are wearing masks and wearing gloves. A man was not wearing a mask and making my sandwich. I went up and let them know I was not comfortable eating a sandwich being made by someone who is not wearing a mask. The entire staff gave me dirty looks and the man who is not wearing the mask said rudely and snarky that he could not breathe when wearing one. I'm giving this Deli 5 stars because: They cut everything fresh! This is why everything tastes so good. They cook their meat on a flat top grill and their bread is very, VERY good! They have sprouts! Fresh avocado! They had sliced all their meats and cheeses. This is what makes the difference. Freshness and quality. They use real avocados--not the cream of avocado that comes out of a plastic bag. They cut their lettuce fresh--it's not out of a bag. etc... We all know that "other sandwich" place that makes their own bread; you know, the one where you can't taste anything but the bread that tastes like paper? Well, this isn't that sort of sammie. This location is probably the fastest one to put out sandwiches compared to others in town. Came here a couple times during lunch hour, and like Adrian Z says, the line may look long and intimidating, especially if you are on a short lunch, but itwill move pretty quick. I think last time I was here, I was right at the end of the line and was still able to order my food and get back to work within 25 mins or so. Sandwiches here, especially the #28 smoked turkey, is really good just like other locations. I used to complain about the prices compared to Subway, but when you think about it the price you pay for an 8 inch here, has just about as much meat and toppings as a footlong that you would pay for at Subway. Everything is made fresh as well, and the meat actually tastes smoked. I do wish this place took the vacant space next door since it looks bigger. I don't think the owner realized this place would have that much traffic inside. It just gets too cramped, since this location is quite small compared to the other shops. Parking can be a pain as well, especially since it shares it with a taco shop next door, but I recommend parking along the fence facing the 99. There should always be a spot open. read more

This is by far my favorite Deli D ever! I find that it's only worth it to go to this location. The food is made picture perfect! I think their oils and vinegar make the sandwich have the most epic flavor! And I love the staff!! They even took the time to get to know me by name! This is a great location. They always get the orders right and they use plenty of ingredients on my food. The staff is always friendly and they are usually really quick. I do recommend going early, they tend to get lots of business (AKA packed) during the lunch hour (which is great for them). We went to the bathrooms while we waited for our sandwiches- one bathroom had no toilet paper & the other was very dirty:/ The gal that brought us our sandwiches was much more friendly & even asked us if we needed anything else. Our first visit was great ;-) Staff was super friendly and personable! Cashier called me by my name a couple times (she proactively noticed it on my debit card) and also spoke to another customer by name while making friendly conversation. Great Service!!!! I also really appreciated their dress and grooming, especially since they are working with food I am about to put in my mouth LOL. I have really had a ongoing issue with the way some of the other (ahem, that means you Visalia location) allow their employees to dress. Anyone making my food should NOT be wearing daisy dukes and/or uncovered hair. Talk about gross!! So I definitely want to commend this location for doing things right. Cue applause :-) The sandwich was very fresh and tasty. Only thing I noticed was that they used slightly less ingredients than other Deli Delicious locations I have been to. For example, I really like the cream cheese on the sandwich and I could have used just a LITTLE more. Our second visit was much the same as our first. This time we were there closer to the lunch hour and their was quite a line! Today was the last time me or anyone in my office goes to this location. The staff is friendly enough but they skimp on the meat in the sandwiches, every single time. My coworker called and he was told they put 5 slices of meat on the sandwiches, must be very small slices to begin with,when you order a large sandwich and pay almost 14 bucks for it, could you add some meat to it??. I personally have asked for pepper jack cheese every time I order my sandwich, I have yet to get pepper jack in place of the provolone. I have ordered wraps and its all tortilla and very little on the inside. The location gets a lot of business, you would think they would have the revenue to be able to have a decent amount of meat on the inside. Also each time I have gotten a mayo or ranch on my sandwich, it has the metallic taste of them going bad. ew! read more

Can you describe your experience.... Amazing! For a small sandwich spot they move like a well oiled machine. All I saw were arms moving so fast and sandwiches flying off the prep table.
