I decided to try this place for lunch after looking for an alternative to Subway. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything (except the Miss Vickie's chips). I ordered the #5 in the regular size. It's advertised as have various kinds of ham and cheese on a sub roll. I also asked for the "Jersey Mike's" fixings which was supposed to include lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, onions, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and spices. After watching how the orders ad head of mine were drenched with vinegar, I asked for everything except the vinegar and moved ahead to pay for my sandwich along with a fountain during and bag of BBQ chips. I took my food and filled my fountain drink with the pink lemonade soft drink and returned to my office to eat my food. I was in for an unpleasant surprise. The bread was very stale---hard and crunchy like crackers, and although the sub had lettuce, tomatoes and onions, it had no mayo, oil or spices. So, I was left eating a dry, bland, mouth irritatingly crunchy sub. Perhaps that's why they were pouring the vinegar on the subs--to soften the bread. While chewing the dry sandwich l tried to make the best of it thinking how the lack of mayo made it healthier. I then took a sip of my fountain during to combat the dryness and guess what? The pink lemonade was tart and watery!!! It tasted as if the syrup dispenser had run out of flavor. Oh well...I've learned my lesson. I will not waste my time on this place again. I'd give it 1/2 a star but the chips were palatable. read more

Having eaten here a bunch of times, I can tell you that the sandwiches here are great, if you get them mike's way. I can understand peoples' negative opinions of J-Mikes. The staff is encouraged to be edgy but not rude, and an emphasis on getting the sandwiches made "Mike's Way" ie. Olive oil & red vinegar, onions, lettus, tomato. Your order will come out this way unless specify otherwise. During lunch there is usually a line out the door so the atmosphere is chaotic and phone orders with custom modifications are often made incorrectly. Bottom line, give this place a try, don't expect to get fluffed at the door, and know that "Mike's Way" is the way to go! read more

The quality of this place has gone gone since opening. I am from New England and prefer my Roast Beef deli rare. Jersey Mike's did serve the beef this way but I changed somewhere down the road. You will receive well done roast beef. Very disappointed. Sigh. read more

I am thoroughly impressed with this establishment. The subs are GREAT! The staff is highly efficient, courteous and professional. I ended up eating my sub in the dining area. I noticed that the staff preparing the food wear gloves. They keep the dining area very clean. A young lady walked around and asked if anyone required napkins or anything else to enjoy their meal. It was like dining in a 5 star restaurant. There was a mix up with my 1st order that caused a delay in receiving my sandwich and the manager offered me a refund due to the delay. While this was not necessary or expected, it made me feel valued and I look forward to returning. read more

Very disappointed! Ordered the Italian and there was hardly any meat. What little meat there was consisted of mostly ham. The salami, pepperoni, prosciuttino and provolone were barely discernible. The bread was hard. There was too much mayo. The sandwich just sucked and cost almost $17! The service was good though and very quick. They have great sandwiches however the service is not the greatest. I walked in and no one spoke. I walked up to the counter and gave my order even though I was not asked. They young man behind the counter just looked at me as he put on gloves to make my sandwich. Another young man came from the back to ring up my order. Still no greating. Sandwiches are great! No toasted bread though. I had to take a star away because they ALWAYS forget or add something to our sandwiches. Basically, dont call in, watch them make it and you will be stoked. Or check them after you get them. Chicken Philly cheesesteak is huge!!! It tasted pretty good but just too heavy for me that day. My fiancé got a sub that was kinda like a cold cut.. #11 he says lol. It was pretty good too. The employees seem to like their jobs which makes any experience more welcoming. The #11 was special so it was only like 6$. My sub was regular price at 8$. I don't think either one was too expensive or a rip off. My sub was so huge I felt gross when I finished it - gluttony. This location def made my first jersey mike experience very good. read more

This is my favorite sandwich shop. I like that certain sandwiches are served hot and others are served cold. This makes the line move faster, I believe. Fresh, well made sandwiches--and the customer service--are my reasons for loving this place. My only complaint is that the hot sandwiches take a long time to be made. It's like being at a sit-down restaurant when waiting for a hot sandwich. I don't understand why it takes so long--at least here at Greenbelt. It's still a cool place though. read more

I admit that I have to credit a friend for originally introducing me to Jersey Mike's in another Maryland location less than a year ago which indirectly influenced my decision to persuade my husband to give the Greenbelt Maryland Jersey Mike's Subs a try when he noticed the place open this morning shortly after it opened (the money payment receipt for our visit has our time listed for 1030 am on 09/22/18). The employees handling our food were polite and we both liked our food and my husband paid for the meal which included; my husband chose the regular Italian sandwich(which comes with provolone ham proscuittini cappacuolo salami and pepperoni) with lays baked potato chips and a pepsi drink while I chose to get Miss Vickies brand smoked barbecue kettle chips and the Big Kahuna sandwich with Rosemary bread (which comes with grilled onions peppers mushrooms jalapenos and I chose the provolone cheese) read more

Never a bad experience. Staff is friendly and food is superior quality. Sometimes I order the giant sub (waaaay too much food) and put half in the fridge for later. Walk up at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday 9/24. Doors Locked. Handwritten sign on the door. One side said No Roast Beef. The other side said No Bread. Waved over a worker to the door and asked about the sign. He says they have to close the store when they run out of bread. Ask how long it takes to make bread, he says 30 or 40 mins they making some now. We ask when they started making it, he says 30 minutes ago. Okaaaaay, so bread should be ready in or 5 minutes or so right? I think the math was too difficult to calculate on the fly. He says have a good night and locks the door. Message to management: make sure the shift leader is monitoring the available bread and meat or get better liars. SMH With other non-bread options (tub, wrap) it's a shame that they were not made available to the public. Way to Go Jersey Mike's! read more

Awesome. This place was great. I gotta tell you nothing could have been better. When I went in it just opened for lunch and was very busy. I thought aww crap I gotta wait, but they were moving getting those orders out. They were flying but still nice and courteous. I was impressed because I still didn't feel rushed. I have eaten here several years now and always love the number 13 Italian, Mike's way. Everyone is helpful, fast, and friendly. I came here earlier this week at lunch time and the place was packed. Everyone was hustling: the guy taking the order and slicing ,the guy adding the toppings, the wrapper, and the cashier. They were working like a well oiled machine and though there was a delay because of the sheer number of customers, I did not mind. They were not flustered, just did their job and did it quickly. They are very stingy with the meat portions. Two very super thin tiny slices of turkey for a turkey sandwich is not right. I don't appreciate paying for mostly a "all bread" sub sandwich. That is a very hefty expensive price for a nearly "all bread sub roll" and, with hardly very little meat. The cost of their subs are not the fair average area cost to pay when there is hardly any substantial decent portion of meat. Numerous times the lettuce was old, discolored, decomposing. More than half of the time I end up removing all of the lettuce off the sub as the result. Half of the time the sliced tomatoes were mushy and old. read more

I've been here a few times so my review is honest. Philly cheese steak is decent. Nothing spectacular but you will at least have a decent meal that's filling. Now the parmesan sub is a BIG No No. The chicken was hard tasted old and stale. Could not cut it with a fork, knife, spoon or teeth. I thought it was just the piece I bit into but as I continued to eat....the chicken was HARD and the same. it seemed old and it was not over cooked judging by the taste and smell. It just wasn't fresh off the stove. They probably just grabbed an old batch and didn't feel like cooking a new one. Complete waste of money. I give this place 3 stars because the portions are way more than Subway. But I rather Eat Fresh and not stale. As for Parmesan sub I would recommend Ledos. Steak sub I'll recommend Jersey Mikes. Haven't tried other subs. The parmesan sub is the reason I wrote this review. read more

Went in for lunch today and asked what's good. The very nice sandwich maker suggested the #13, telling me that the Travel Channel reviewed it as one of the best sandwiches in America. I wasn't feeling a cold sub so I ordered the Reuben, but they still wanted me to try the #13, so they gave it to me for free! Needless the say, it was awesome, and the Reuben that I paid for was great, too. When a company is confidant enough to give away their product , knowing that the customer will come back for more, you have to assume it's gonna be good. It was great.
