Everything is made fresh to order, so it took about 7-10 minutes to be ready. As we were waiting, a hot, crispy batch of chicken tenders came out, and we couldn't help but admire them. The server caught our gaze and, with a smile, whispered, "We make hot order for you..." We grinned and placed a second order on the spot--lol. The food didn't disappoint! It comes with avocado and mayo, neither of which we like, and I ordered without them. Unfortunately we received avocado. I brought them back and explained the mix-up. Susanne, one of the servers, took them and came to our table with fresh sandwiches. I bit into mine and tasted onion and it had the mayo herb spread on it. I debated throwing it away for about 30 seconds but brought it back and Susanne (susie) who had replaced the first sandwiches cheerfully said "I've got you" and replaced it with a new one, no mayo, no avocado, no attitude, and I really was so grateful and of course enjoyed every bite. My sister loves the chocolate chip cookie and when they realized they were out Susanne intervened and said a new batch was coming and would be ready in 20 minutes. So my sister and I ate and by the time we were finished I went to the counter and Susanne brought out the still warm cookie. My sister is handicapped and it's one of the quicker, brighter restaurants as I can open the door closer to the handicapped parking for her which saves her steps she would need to reach the main entrance. She gets a booth and i order the food and drinks. I'm given a number to display on the table so we can have the drinks and chat and the server brings the food. We get to be leisurely since it's never been crowded when we go, usually in the afternoon. Someone always checks to see how we're doing and clear any dishes sometimes even getting refills for us. Kudos to one of our favorite restaurants. Thank you Susanne for your great service! They have a handicapped stall in the restroom and my sister is able to go alone on her walker. There are two or three handicapped spots located in front of a connected store with an accessible curb and the sidewalk leads to McAlisters, no street crossing involved.

I've eaten at plenty of delis over the years, but Eddie's Little Shop completely surprised me with flavors I've genuinely never tasted before. The sandwiches here are incredibly unique, creative combinations that just explode with flavor in ways I wasn't expecting. What really stood out were the huge, fresh chunks of real mozzarella, paired with their homemade-style dressings, sauces, and condiments. It's easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The portions are generous, the bread is spot-on. I'll definitely be back before my trip ends.
