We stopped you by chance because we're hungry and we had a taste for Philly cheesesteak. I thought it was pretty good, not the best but comparably good. The lady at the counter was amazing and very friendly. She was polite and it looked like she enjoys working there, so that was nice to see. The place is clean to include restroom, & that's always nice to witness because there's nothing like a clean area whenever I check out for the first time. They offer rewards points, so that's always a good way to keep people coming. I'll probably try again and see what the other sandwiches taste like. read more

About a 1-1.5: This Capriotti's must have just opened, and we were excited to see it while we were passing through - I really enjoy their Bobbie sandwiches, which is basically a Thanksgiving sammie can consume to satisfy all that craving before/after the holidays. You can opt for the sammie to be cold or hot, in which I went for the latter - while the sandwich was stuffed well, the ingredients were just not great - the turkey was super dried out and had no flavor; the stuffing also was super dry and very mushy - it seemed it was not prepared well; and, the cranberry sauce had an off taste to it. The bread itself was okay, but slightly dried out; the quality that was received just made the visit not worth it. This capriotti's is one of the most cleanest and calmest locations I've ever been to!!! It was my first time trying their sandwiches and this server named Caylee was sweet and very fast with my order & she even wrote a nice note on my receipt saying "Have a great day, enjoy". Tyler and the female manager, Jennifer, were absolutely delightful today. It was my first time coming with my daughter. She loved the kids grilled cheese. Ate here recently. Food was incredible as was the service. I did notice a sign that said "doordashers may not use the restroom" which I APPLAUD. Too many times these DREGS of society, who are too STUPID to work a real job, are vandalizing restaurant bathrooms or shooting up DRUGS, when they should be doing their job. The establishment was not super busy, we were greeted by the manager, Mr. Kris. The interior of the business was clean. We did not use the bathroom; we had a buy one sub get one free sub deal, courtesy of the manager, Miss Jennifer. We met her a few days priors, she was friendly, patient, and informative concerning the menu and what were the popular choices. We ordered the Capastrami Sub and the Tuna Sub. The Capastrami Sub was great tasting and just the perfect blend of seasoning and taste. The Tuna Sub was quality, but it simply lacked enough seasoning and did not have enough mayonnaise for a nice consistency. Got a small wagyu cheesesteak that was ok. Not much flavor, chopped way too fine, it was like ground beef and not that much for $16. Ordered their fries and was very disappointed that they were not the flat skinny fries as described, but regular. Need to change menu description on line. I'm a big fan of sandwich shops, so it was cool to find a new player in our area that I hadn't heard of before. They have only been open for a few months, I think, but the place looks like it belongs in the Waugh Chapel annex (my name for it... I think they call it Main Street?). They have a standard selection, with a few new offerings. For example, the first one we ever tried was the hot/grilled Italian. Imagine your favorite Italian hoagie meats, but chopped up and grilled, smothered in provolone. Suffice to say, it was quite delicious. My second attempt was their Wagyu roast beef. I will say I've never seen a slice of roast beef as marbled as this. It had a great flavor, and my only complaint was how ice-cold the veggies were. It wasn't their fault I had a tooth issue going on, but yeah... that stung a little. Still, their subs are quite tasty, and the toppings are really fresh. I'm intrigued to try their turkey, because it LOOKS like they have full actual frozen Butterball turkeys in the cooler up front. Might we finally have an answer to the processed meat situation? My biggest complaint is the price. I love that they have multiple size options for the bread (junior, small, medium, and large), but even the smallest one starts at around $7 for the beef one. It's over $11 for a small. When it showed up, it really did look quite small, but about 8 inches as advertised. I guess cutting it in half and stacking them side-by-side makes them look smaller. So, is it worth it? Maybe. For the price, the quality sure was there. I think I need to try a few more to make a final assessment, though. But, yeah, I don't see myself eating there too frequently for the value. Not to say the sub isn't worth it, but the prices are a bit steep. If quality is your absolute thing, then yes, they're worth it... so far. read more

Terrible. Avoid this sandwich chain. Nothing against this specific location just avoid the entire food chain in general. Sandwiches look nothing like the photos and the big disappointment comes when you pay almost $30 for a sub that has the thickness of a wiffle ball bat. Bread is nasty, chewy, doughy, comparable to Subway bread (but even smaller) if you're into that. Ingredients on the sandwiches feel skimped. Not worth the money or the calories. read more

After seeing Brown's Pro food review on tik tok about Capriotti's steak n cheese I decided to try it. I didn't have the same wow experience as Brown's did but it tasted okay. Had high hopes for their cheese steak. We ordered the largest sandwich with onions and mushrooms. The roll was amazing but the steak was overcooked to the point of being tough. The cheese had completely melted away. If there were onions and mushrooms they were hiding somewhere. May give the place another try but certainly not the cheese steak. Went to their soft opening yesterday and was not impressed with their Waygu steak sandwich. They offered a small for free with a drink. If I had to pay for this horrible sandwich I would have been mad. This sandwich is approximately $12! There was hardly any meat on it and the meat itself was extremely salty. This is the worst cheesesteak I have ever had. I had seen them before in Annapolis, but after reading the reviews from the Annapolis location, I never bought from there. Don't waste your time or money I thought I would give this place another try. I will never go back. I called in my order but it wasn't ready when I got there even though the entire store was empty. Although it was probably a good thing otherwise I wouldn't have seen how they handle the food. The person cleaning with gloves on. Stopped cleaning and then started making my sandwiches with the same gloves. They didn't wash their hands or change gloves! The other person was going to give me fries that were just sitting there for who knows how long. I asked for my money back. They laughed at me as I walked out the door. Horrible customer service. Why would you go there when Firehouse subs who has wonderful customer service is right across the street.
