The cold cuts were warm, and there must have been eight ounces of mayo on this sub! We were on a trip and had picked the food up to go, so it wasnt practical to try and return to the shop. So, i had to scrape off a huge glob of mayo and lettuce just to be able to eat half of the sub. This was by Far the Worst experience in my life of getting food to go and discovering a few miles down the road a sickening mess!

The conversation left us feeling like he was accusing us of lying about what we found in our food rather than taking our complaint seriously. Accidents can happen in any restaurant, but it's how they're handled that makes the difference. We weren't looking for an argument, we just wanted the issue addressed fairly. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service were just as disappointing as finding hairs in our food. Based on this experience, we won't be returning, and I can't recommend Vincent's Deli to others.

We got the Capisce: luscious pistachio pesto layered over thick slices of ripe tomato, generous slabs of fresh mozzarella, sliced red onion, and tender greens with balsamic vinaigrette between slices of their wonderful thin crunchy toasted focaccio bread. A refreshing vegetarian creation! And we had the Flora, because it starts with a bright green-olive tapenade which i just love! over those sweet juicy tomatoes, thick fresh mozz, a generous layer of richly flavorful thin-sliced dry-cured prosciutto ham, and lovely big hunks of roasted sweet red peppers, with their thinly sliced red onion and tender fresh greens with tangy vinaigrette, held by that perfectly lightly crunchy toasted fresh-tasting bread. An interesting selection of grocery products, also produce, and a freezer of meats and fish, including their own branded bratwurst or sweet Italian pork sausage or chorizo, and pork sausages with duck or wild-boar or venison, and sliced leg of lamb and wild salmon! The sandwich is just as good as I remembered. The bread is toasted, so it doesn't get soggy. The turkey is moist without being squishy, and the cranberry sauce isn't overly tart. Everything together just melts in your mouth and is absolutely delicious. I'm so glad they were able to expand without losing what made them special. I'll definitely keep coming back.

They were all good, but I'm surprised to say that the French onion soup might actually be my favorite thing here. I used to go to their previous location on Georgia Avenue, and I'm really enjoying the new interior. The servers have all been nice too.
