They do have some coloring books and a puzzle to keep little kids entertained while waiting, which was much appreciated. They also have a small farm shop in the next room with various items for sale. But what really touched us was when she brought the guys freshly baked cookies beautifully plated on a tray with "Thank you for your service" written on it. It was such a simple gesture, but it genuinely meant so much. Wearing a police uniform in public doesn't always bring kindness or appreciation, so to have someone go out of her way to make them feel welcomed and appreciated was incredibly touching. Bri didn't have to do any of that, and that's exactly what made it so special. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine appreciation absolutely made our lunch. Mission BBQ is already known for supporting our military and first responders, but Bri truly embodied that today. Thank you, Bri, for being such a kind human and for making three officers feel appreciated. I know they won't forget it

While we appreciate receiving the refund, it's concerning that the employees don't seem to have a basic understanding of their own menu and pricing. They both confidently gave incorrect information before taking a moment to verify the facts. Definitely check your receipts carefully to make sure you're being charged correctly. While we eventually received a refund, we had to dispute the charge multiple times before it was finally corrected. There was no apology--only arguments and repeated explanations for why the charge was supposedly correct.
