On 2 separate occasions (8/31 and 9/20)I ordered food for family parties online at the Hanover store. On 8/29 I called and spoke to the manager to confirm he received my order. It was 5 catering boxes of subs. He confirmed he had the orders and they would be all set for Sunday. when we went to pick up the food that Sunday, they stated they did not have the order. I asked to speak to the manager and he found the order and asked to give us 15 minutes to get the order ready. It took over 45 minutes and we were not offered a discount or even a soda while we waited. It happened again this past weekend. we placed a large order, confirmed they had the order and when we went to pick it up on Saturday they said they did not have the order. No apologies were given either time nor any discount for the inconvenience. I will not go back to again. read more

I hate to admit that I was pleasantly surprised about Jersey Mike's. I'm normally against chains for many reasons, but this one stands out a bit amongst the others. I've been here twice and both times got the Italian sub. Once on regular bread and once on the rosemary parm bread. I was surprised to see them slicing the meats right in front of you as that normally does not happen with a chain. I was also surprised that I preferred the regular bread over the rosemary parm. I felt like the rosemary parm bread clashed with the Italian sub flavors rather than compliment them. The large size is a bit on the pricey side but it is enormous and certainly enough for 2 meals or can be split with someone. Overall I think this place is better than your average chain, but not as good as your local mom & pop sub shop. read more

It is odd for me to give 5 stars especially for a sub shop but as a low-carb person they offer "sub in a tub". Gotta love when an establishment has a low carb offer without having to explain to a 15 year old that you want a sub without the bread and they cant comprehend that. I have had their chipolte steak and cheese twice and I add lettuce and pickles (dont judge me) to it. The entree comes in a to go container which is great because the portion size is large and I'm not even ordering the bigger option. It's always crowded in Jersey Mike's so they must be doing alot of things right! Keep up the good job! read more

If I could give zero I would. I ordered online today at 11:20am and got a notification that my sub would be ready at 11:44. Having showed up here before on time and had to wait I showed up a bit late at 11:50 and the place was swamped. It tool an additional 25 mins of waiting before they informed me that they hadn't even looked at my ticket or started my sub and I would need to wait an additional 20-30 mins. That would be over an hour after they told me my sub would be ready for pick up. Since I paid online I asked for a refund and I was told that they couldn't do it then but later. I know they were busy but this was just beyond ridiculous. This isn't the first time I've ordered on line and every time before the sub was never made or started by the time I got there. Don't offer the service if you can't execute the work. I won't return. read more

While the phrase "a wet and tangy sub" wouldn't initially create an overwhelming urge to sample said wares, don't rule out the oddly addictive quality these grinders got. And got it, they do. Opt not hot, and expect to have your 'wich in hand (meats sliced to order, bread recently baked) in under two minutes. No small feat at no small price; the average regular sub runs $8-10. B-b-b-but that's a lot! True, especially for a chain, but Mike puts the "sub" in substantial - the average appetite could probably get two meals out of a single sandwich. The wet, you ask? Mike's juice, aka O&V, aka red wine vinegar and oil in an inexcusable squeeze bottle, resulting in a Flashdance moment of "dressing on sub" action. Pull chain, douse in dampness. The deli meats also have a high moisture content, so there's a cold, um, fluidity to all parts of the #13 Italian. The iceberg shreds, though; the whole thing kind of works, esp when you get it Mike's Way, no onions, add hots. I waiver between three and four stars because (a) we've had a couple order muck-ups, and (b) the staff is always very friendly, even if a bit overrun at lunch. Pales against A Fork In The Road, but blows Subway out of the ocean, so let's stick with three and room to grow. read more

I don't mind this chain, the food is fine and I go for a sandwich on occasions because they carry gf bread but the service always is terrible. Every time I've been into this particular shop, the employees appear literally to be under the influence. This last time was it for me! At my last visit the person making my sandwich literally could not fit the bread pieces together, and needed help from someone in the back to finish making my sandwich. I was speechless but not really sure what to say to the person making my sandwich. It was ridiculous. The employees at the shop either need more supervision or need to go to rehab or both. It's actually pretty sad. I won't be going back. I didn't get my receipt or I would have contacted corporate. read more

I've been going to various Jersey Mike's locations for more than ten years. This is a great addition to the local options in the area. Their sandwiches are fresh, and their staff has learned their stuff about the menu. Their gluten free options are great if you or a family member have that issue to deal with; no other local sandwich place even tries, and these guys knock it out of the park. Staff is always friendly to my kids, and my order is always correctly made. This is a solid location whose worst quality is "it's popular". Not exactly a problem. Go for the thirteen. Five different hams on a single sandwich! Brilliant! read more

First time ever being at a Jersey Mike's! It was a little busy so we were in line for a bit. BUT, everyone was super nice and professional. I had grilled chicken and it was fantastic. My Fiance's order took a very long time and when he asked about it..it somehow got lost in the orders. They made it right away and brought it out to him with two free sub sandwich cards apologizing for the short wait. He loved his Italian sub and wants to use his cards as soon as he can. read more

Just paid $23 for a sub. No joke. I asked for a little extra meat (because they have terrible proportions to the bread, as opposed to other local sub companies). At no point was I informed it would be FIVE DOLLARS EXTRA, on top of their ridiculous beginning price of $15 dollars. I was also charged FOUR DOLLARS EXTRA for having a gluten ALLERGY. Awesome addition to the new shopping strip, and a great alternative to Subway and D'Angelo's. We have been twice already and although it has been very busy, they do a great job of keeping the line moving. We have only had the steak and cheese subs but both times they were excellent. read more

New sub shop in Hanover, sooooo good. One thing you must know they are really big and portions. A jumbo one is practically 2 footlongs.

Fresh meats and friendly service. Quick, easy, and a good deal. Love their cold subs, cut the meat right i. front of you. Good portions too.

Delicious! The classic Italian subs (#2 or 5) are to die for and the meat is so fresh. They slice it for each sandwich. They will also box up veggies, oil and vinegar separately if you are taking home or not eating right away. So nothing is soggy when you're ready to eat. Hands down, the best Italian sub I've ever had. Chipotle cheese steak is also not to be missed. Not the cheapest sub shop, but absolutely worth every penny! read more

Glad there is a new Jersey Mikes here and I know they have only been open a couple of weeks but they need to get their act together. I have been going to Jersey Mikes for the last three years and these guys do not give what you expect at a Jersey Mikes. Ordered a mini #9. The girl pulled out a mini sized sub roll then cut it in half. The piece of cheese she put on was wider than the bread. The cashier charged me the wrong amount (for a regular size). The bread was on the stale side and the bacon probably a day old. Will give it another try in a few weeks to see if they get their act together. Overall disappoint f. Hope it turns around because I am a big fan of Jersey Mikes. read more

Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time on the second day they were open. Was excited in anticipation hearing how successful the chain is. So I ordered an Italian Mike's way thinking it would be a good measuring stick. It was "ok"....... not bad, but far from the best I have had. Definitely a huge step above subway was my thought. Tried them again last night while doing some Christmas shopping. The place was jammed. The newer staff seemed overwhelmed while the company veterans were banging it out like pros. I got a number 17 (Philly steak and cheese). I have to admit, It was a great sandwich, steak was moist and tender, roll was fresh. Got a giant by accident because I'm a rookie, could only eat half and took the rest home for later. Will definitely be back, once the newer staff is broken in it can only get better. read more

A NJ friend recommended Jersey Mike's to me so I decided to try it the other night on my way home from work. The people who work there couldn't have been friendlier and although it was crowded they kept the line moving right along. The regular subs are big! I got the #15 meatball and cheese and it didn't disappoint! Plenty of big meatballs and just the right amount of sauce with melted provolone on a fresh sub roll. The bread was hot and fresh which is rarely the case in chain sub shops. I'll definitely go back and try some of the other sandwiches for sure! read more
