And you know when you walk into that type of environment, you're probably going to eat well....and Strawberry Fair absolutely delivers in that department. I had the Eggs Benedict (substituted the croissant with English muffin) and it was perfect. Just the right amount of hollandaise (which had a great hint of lemon). Delicious. The accompanying home fries were cooked perfectly as well, with just the right amount on the plate. The rest of the table enjoyed the cinnamon swirl French toast (a special for the day), an omelet, Reuben, and a second eggs Bennie. The icing on the proverbial cake though was the grilled corn bread that we ordered as a side for the table. It came with homemade strawberry jam, and no joke- I woke up thinking about it this morning. The pieces were thick, hearty, and beyond tasty. If you don't order this side with your meal, you're doing it wrong. Our server was exceptional, and took care of our every need. She was kind, outgoing, and made us feel at home. Definitely added to our experience and made the day special. Strawberry Fair is a gem, and is certainly deserving of a visit, or if you're local- your regular business. In a blind taste test you'd think it was just buttercream frosting with decorations. It doesn't add anything. I could've just gone with a plain chocolate and plain vanilla.
