We ordered a Veggie sub here a few weeks ago and it was excellent! Chock full of fresh veggies and delicious!! Tonight we ordered a grilled Veggie sub and it was awful! Ordered the other day from the store in Colonial Heights. The website changed the store to the one in Johnson City at checkout. I tried to call the store to cancel the order and their phone number is "not in service". I don't know why they ask "who's the sandwich for?" They don't mark the sandwiches anyway. Left a complaint on the website and they said the stores are individually owned, we'll forward to the store. The individual store doesn't run the website, they don't have a working phone number, and they're going to answer an email? Nope, they didn't. The people that work here are awesome and the sandwiches were great as usual. What I really appreciated how they handled a rude customer at closing. The customer was terrible to them but they maintained a professional attitude, while the rest of us laughed at the rude customer. Great food, awesome service. read more

Been watching the online menu for a couple of years now because I'm not gonna drive 40 miles one way and not get the sandwich I want. Since you took the one sandwich I always bought off your menu, (the Reuben) I haven't been back. Why visit a restaurant when you cannot get the food you are used to and want? Until you bring back the Reuben, you're not going to bring back my (or my familys) business. Sorry, but until you listen to your customers, you're going to lose business. read more

My wife and I ate here today. The food was excellent. The store was very clean. The staff were outstanding. Very friendly and upbeat. They even sang along with the radio in the background a few time. The subs are delicious, but they randomly close HOURS early because they "ran out of bread." Who does that?? They've been closed at 6 or 7pm on a Saturday enough times that I will usually pick some other take-out instead of running the risk that I'll be disappointed by them not being there. read more

I use to go to JM's all the time even when I was a district mgr for Subway!! I LOVE their subs.. Still do.. One of my sons shares my love for the subs.. Due to medical reasons etc it's been. A few months since I've been in so today after leaving the doctors office I called my son that was home sick to see if he wanted to share a sandwich.. Of course he did!! I left my wallet at home all I had on me was almost $11 bucks.. I walked in and notice that I don't even have enough money to but their large sandwich cause boy did those prices jump up!! Ouch!! I searched for a sub that I might could afford after having 3 rude looks and 3 employees acting as if I was a bother!! I finally found a bacon sub that was $9 and something (the cheapest outside a veggie I think) I barely had enough after tax!! Way to high of prices considering subway has $5 bacon which isn't as good but half the price I can sacrifice some flavor.. After watching the girl put on gloves I tell her what I want.. She goes back to the grill area to get my bacon where she also takes time out to talk to the 2 boys leaned against the wall worried about talking, you could tell she was aggravated that I walked in and disturbed them and she couldn't stand and talk as well.. So I'm waiting and my time is ticking down cause I've gotta take this home share it with my son and get to the school by 3 to pick up my other 3 children.. She's talking away and reaches in her pocket pulls out her cell phone (gloves still on) and scrolls thru showing the boys something.. She comes back to me doesn't change her gloves and continues to make my sandwich (I took food safety classes knowing this is a HUGE violation!! A critical one) so she's asking me what I want in my sandwich.. I tell her.. Ha ha she's laughing at talking to the boys.. She's asks what was that you wanted.. I tell her ago she repeats the first thing I answer yes.. She talks somemore and then says what else again (insert giggling) I repeated again!! She puts a few more things on still talking and the guy comes up while im still telling her why I want!! Again she ask ( no take in consideration they don't have that much stuff on their bar like subway does) first time should of been enough.. I felt like i wasn't a valued customer that I was bothered and now I have to eat a sub cause I'm in a hurry that she's touched her phone etc ( phone has been showed to have as much germs or more then a public toliet!! Learned that in food safey) so thanks so much for my almost $11 sandwich which by the way DOESN'T come with cheese at that price but subways $5 footlong does!!
