Had problems on several occasions with this location, the employees don't pay attention to orders at all and frequently make mistakes. Up to and including giving me non-gluten free bread on a gluten free order (It ain't a preference, celiac) Most recently had an occasion where I handed my order over on a scrap of paper with some additional toppings (bacon, tomato, pickle, mayo, mustard. normal stuff) and got a sandwich nothing but meat cheese and bread at the full cost. This Jersey Mikes is extremely cheap on their portions especially after raising their prices on top of that. I use to eat at Jersey Mikes a lot and it was never like this. If I could give them a zero star I would. I have had bad customer service 3 times from this location. Two of my orders have gone missing. When you order online they don't care if someone else takes your order they just give you an oh well someone else must have taken it and they turn away. The same is when I ordered for delivery and the delivery person brought me someone else's order and when he was told it was wrong he said just keep it and left. After waiting an hour for a few sandwiches AND after messing up the order, I get this chicken sandwich with RAW chicken inside! Clearly seen in this picture, the chicken is raw and not cooked at all. Amateur kids are making these sandwiches with no experience or training from the manager. Raw chicken is very dangerous and could cause salmonella poisoning! I have been to many Mike's but this is the worst. Their stuff is not fresh. Bread, Avocados, ..., Especially Tuna even though they claim it is made daily on site but that is a lie. The worker told me their tuna was 3 days old delivered from somewhere else. Not all their staff is friendly or attend to you promptly. Constantly running out of items, and when you order online even though you have to give your phone number they never call to let you know your item is unavailable, but instead after arriving and waiting for a while (as they are always busy and understaffed) they then tell you your item isn't available...this has now happened three separate times. I prefer Jersey Mikes over Subway, which is an opinion that I often get heat for, but there really is no competition to me. The food is just so much more fresh. The cold cuts are literally sliced right in front of you. How much for fresh can you get? I also prefer the bread that is offered here. But the real seller is the hot subs that they offer. I drive here from my house often because of the quality of the sandwiches. Delicious and fresh tasting, love the rosemary bread and I'm a fan of their vegetarian option. Food - 5 stars The service is usually ok, I have gone at least once a week for the last two years. These pickup sandwiches have gotten me through the pandemic. They always ask my name and it'd be nice if they remembered like I saw the man before me was known by name but no big deal. I place my order in the app and by the time I've driven to the store it is usually sitting on the pickup rack and they hand it to me. My drive from Sunland takes about 15 mins. If I need to wait it's not big deal and I know they get busy (I worked in service for ten years, I get it.) But now I have been yelled at two times while trying to pick up my sandwiches. Last week I told the cashier my name and she started looking for my sandwich, she couldn't find it so she told the manager and I hear her yell something at me, say "12:50" and it sounded rude and she was clearly annoyed. I asked the cashier what she said to me "she said your order will be ready at 12:50 and you're early" so I said, "oh ok, what time is it?" The cashier says "12:49, so we have a few minutes". So I politely wait and get in the car with my sandwich about 12:55 and check my phone... it said my order would be ready for pickup at 12:49... which is the exact time I got there and asked. So essentially she yelled at me for no reason. The details don't matter and I don't mind waiting, it's the fact that I was chastised like a small child for asking for my sandwich... I don't deserve to be treated like this from a place I've supported and recommended for so long. Horrible experience. I came in ordered 1 sandwich. Simple order. Literally just meat, onions and cheese. And the three people behind me were served first. Still 5 stars. Best deli sandwiches in town by far. Their pickles are too die for! We come all the time great service, great sandwiches. These reviews crack me up, obviously nobody writing them has ever worked in food service. We always choose to walk in and order. The staff is always jam packed with 30 orders at once, but still have always been so friendly and attentive. I'm sorry you can't snap your fingers and get your food guys. I don't know why everyone is so mad with this Jersey Mike's location. My husband and I have been there three times in the past month or so. Each time the service has been swift and friendly. My husband always orders the #2 (Jersey Shore?) and I've tried various cold subs. The latest is #4 (which wasn't on their menu that day, but they made it for me) and it was excellent. My husband likes less oil, I like more and they are happy to customize. We too love the rosemary bread and our favorite chips are always available and fresh. Me and my family have been here maybe 8-10 times since they opened and I can say with no exaggerating 9 out of 10 times my order had some kind of problem. Missing food, incorrectly made sandwiches, long wait times along all other problems. How hard is it to look at a order on paper and make it ? If you guys can't get making a simple sandwich correct then close up the doors and let a real business rent the space and service the community. This is reviewing the service of Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 12pm noon. I don't know why but maybe because of summer labor being such low quality now that they can't get things right. I have ordered on the app probaby 20 times in the past with no problem. For some odd reason, the staff couldn't find my order. After 10 minutes, someone found my order and decided to start making my sandwiches. They ran out of roast beef, so all orders with roast beef had to be substituted. Very bad inventory management folks. The lady next to me ordered 2 giants, and was given 2 regulars. How hard is it to do a good job when the place was not even that busy. Granted, most orders now are done through the app, so I think the staff is not trained properly dealing with app orders. I am going to wait a few weeks before I visit this location again. The counter was covered with bits of lettuce and the makings of sandwiches, which are supposed to be wiped away immediately, no?
