First time visitor to Jersey Mike's in Foothill Ranch. Got here on a Friday around 1:45ish and the workers behind the counter were obviously busy with a large order. Even though, the guy slicing the bread greeted me and asked what I wanted to order all while he was working on the large order too. I ordered the big kahuna chicken regular size. The sandwich came out very fresh, very hot and extremely tasty. It was juicy and sauce dripped out a little bit but didn't make the bread soggy at all. I was extremely happy with this sandwich, the service and the overall cleanliness of the location. If I had to be critical on one thing, it was a shame they didn't give me a receipt because I can't mention or single out a person/name. I haven't dined here, I have only ordered online for pick-up since I know it does get busy during lunch hours. Parking in the plaza is non-existent during lunch so it is always best to order online. Recently, I ordered a regular California Club Sub through their quick, online ordering system. You get to customize it and add additional veggies or spreads. Super fast and convenient, you choose pick-up time and your sandwich is ready to go. Their sandwiches are always packed with fresh veggies and meat. read more

This location of Jersey Mike's is by far my favorite. They are always friendly and go out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer. I'm a creature of habit and always like lemon with my soft drink. I typically arrive early just after opening so they're not always ready but when they see me, they make sure that the lemon is cut and placed next to the soft drink machine. But the last 8 out 15 times ive come here (NO exaggeration), they put oregano on my sandwich after I specifically say no oregano. This location was very busy. Charlie and the other two associates were doing an excellent job and had a very demanding, rude customer who wanted his bread measured to make sure he wasn't being ripped off. He also wanted the owner's name to call and complain about the service. The truth is, this customer was among the many that look for any detail to complain about. I'm writing this review to offset any complaint that this "gentleman" may give. I've spent 20 years in retail and I know what its like. I've always said that every individual should have a retail/restaurant/customer service position at some point in their life to understand the rudeness of people. i ordered food from these guys through grubhub. when i didn't get my food after over an hour, the guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude and told me they are about to close and deal with grubhub if i had any issue. extremely unprofessional. when food finally arrived almost after hour and half food was extremely disappointing. never ever getting food from this place again. read more

In my opinion, this place really suffers from the poor execution of the way they expedite their food orders; other than prioritizing every single online order or their orders thru companies like DoorDash first and foremost above all costs. I waited over 30 minutes with a 2 year old in the car with her mother to get one cold and one hot sandwich as I watched both in store and online customers get their food before ours one after the other (even customers who ordered after us in store). After 20 minutes I tried to politely ask the cashier to check on our (1) hot sandwich order (chicken bacon ranch) to which she replied immediately that her associate was on it and making the one sandwich as fast he could without even turning her back to check on the order with the employee who was actually working on the grille himself. My food then appears 1 minute later after I request to cancel my food order around 1:30pm today. The manager on site Myrna does not apologize at first and tells me they were very busy today as I walk out the door to my car (thanks for stating the obvious, but when it comes to others who ordered their food after us, it comes down to the way you expedite and lead your team based on my years of experience in both the restaurant and customer driven industries). THEN, I get home to bite into a piece of plastic that was in between one of the meat pieces of my Italian Sandwich (showed manager, given a half sincere apology, and then given a cash refund). Two thumbs down even with the refund due to the way your manager copped an attitude and made an insincere apology. Waste of time and money, and now I'm worried about getting sick since I have no idea if someone infected with COVID touched that plastic piece of piece that got into my sandwich and then into my mouth. Probably one of the worst customer experiences I've had in a very long time! I sincerely hope corporate can address these issues for the betterment of the community here. Sandwiches are good but slightly overpriced in my opinion. I used to come here a lot however the reason I am giving a one star review is because of the customer service I received. The reason I say this is because after you pay with credit card there is an option to tip. I pressed no because it is a sandwich place similar to subway and felt no need since my service was average. Once the receipt printed the employee took it out to look at the tip and said thanks in a very sarcastic/rude way because I didn't tip him? I also arrived once or twice after and a similar thing happened (don't know if it was the same employee) so I just decided to stop coming to this location. I love jersey mike's but the staff at this location needs to pay attention to detail. I usually go to the on in Aliso Viejo by my house, but the Foothill one is right next to my work so I went here today and I asked for ONE modification (add jalapeno) and I opened my sandwich when I got back to work and no jalapeno. I was so sad! Jalapeno literally makes the sandwich for me because I love Spicy! I literally asked for one thing and they didn't do it- I can see them missing something if I'm making a ton of modifications but I told them twice to add jalapeno and this was my only special request and they still didn't do it. read more

Another great experience, although David works at another location now I still enjoy coming into this particular Jersey Mike's. There are a lot of new faces but the assistant manager Paco makes each experience coming here awesome. Professionalism is always on the dot and the customer service always has me coming back. Today he had me try something I didn't know was on the menu, a sandwich known as #99, usually I'm a creature of habit but the way he described it made me want to try it. When I tried it, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in general not just at this establishment. The employees are SO rude and made ME (a longtime, paying customer) feel bad and stupid for asking them to add Mike's way to a turkey wrap they had already wrapped up (without asking me how I wanted it?? Wtf!) when I asked the guy working to fix it, his reply was "uhh, okay, I guess" and proceeded to start gossiping about my sister and I with the guy cutting the meat, blatantly in front of me, my sister and other customers. CHEAP, STINGY FRAUDS I went to many other jersey mikes and I found out the truth. This place only puts about 1/2 of the meat other jersey mikes puts on their sandwiches. Well he initially placed the paper down but threw my bread on the nasty counter when he passed it to the other preparer. I tried this on the recommendation on my father-in-law. I normally don't trust his judgement because he has so-so taste but man did he nail it with Jersey Mikes! I ordered the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak and added Chipotle. The guy who works there recommended the chipotle add if I like heat and boy was that guy right! It was a fantastic sandwich. I truly enjoy cheesesteaks but this thing was different and fantastic. Lots of flavor and a great size - i ordered the 7 inch. Good first experience. Much better than Jimmie Johns. I like that the meat and cheese are sliced right in front of your eyes. Shows how fresh everything is. So I might be one of the last of the mohicans when it comes to giving Jersey Mike's a shot. I'm really pumped I just got in my car & ended up in Mike's parking lot because I was surprised. I sat there turning to my yelp app and the options were slowly slimming while my appetite was expeditiously thriving. I glanced up at Mike's and started considering this well known place that i'd never charted. One thing lead to another and here I am standing infront of the counter. Friendly greeting upon entry, a quick gaze at the menu & I had decided on the #43 "Philly cheese steak, spicy chipotle mayo & fresh peppers". Im not a grilled onions fan so you can go ahead and lacerate that from the ingredients. There's two sizes of sandwich apparently, Regular and Monster. I decided to go with the monster not knowing its capacity. 15 inches or so! Totally worth it because when I unravelled this gift and took my first bite I was impressed. The peppers were very flavorful and the chipotle mayo is the puzzle piece that may very well make this sandwich. The steak is sliced very thin and the cheese is melted to a perfect philly goo. I ordered online because we were in a hurry. I ordered at 2:10 and it said 20 mins. I got there and they hadn't started making them yet. There were only two people in line so I thought about how it would probably be faster just to have ordered then rather than calling ahead. I waited and waited and finally got my sandwiches. 3 out of 4 of them were made incorrectly. No bacon on my club. Mustard and mayo when we said none. Tomatoes and lettuce when we said none. I left there at 2:53. 40 mins and the sandwiches weren't made right. Ridiculous. Have done a couple big phone orders and online orders. They always have it correct and ready to pick up when I got there. Always get the #7, #13 or California club.
