So this is a hard one to write because I love Jersey Mikes but my local location just can't deliver on service. I order on the app and time my pickup to five minutes after the order ready time. I consistently wait ten minutes or more while customers in line get their orders after walking in after me. I am going to have to boycott the location which will not make my kid happy. read more

I ordered on the app which told me to allow up to 30 minutes for the sandwich to be ready. I called shortly after to let them know I was on my way. The person on the phone said that they have a line but they would try to get mine started right away. Came here to let my grandson experience a great sub! He was skeptical, originally wanting a sub from that place that includes "Sub" in the name. This was a different Jersey Mikes, first time here. The interior was standard for the franchise. There were a couple people ahead of us but our time to order came quickly. My grandson ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and I ordered my standard Turkey and Provolone, Mikes way. Endless to say, my grandson was very happy with his and said it was better than the other establishments, tho he'd still go there. OMG. Why preorder and pay of it isn't ready when you come into the store and still wait 15 minutes. People ordering at the as walk ins counter got their food way quicker. I asked twice about my food and they said they were working on it but they were not. Don't over promise and under deliver. Plenty of staff just seem really disorganized and a lack of training. We stopped here after a soccer game. Now, we have Jersey Mike's up by us in Ohio and I admit I've only had it twice before but I don't remember the sandwiches being this good. This is the first time I remember a sandwich looking like the pictures. And it tasted great too. The staff were also super friendly and made conversation with us as well. This is one of my favorite sub places. The meat for the cold subs is sliced freshly to order. And there are several amazing hot options as well. The subs are Jersey style, but North Jersey. South Jersey has a whole different type of bread. I know this because I'm from South Jersey. That said, the food is still amazing. Make sure you get plenty of napkins. ANYWAY. the couple of things I noticed about JM are that: A) they train their staff to be customer-friendly, which seems to work; B) their sub-style is NY/NJ, reminding me of Blimpie's with the O&V dressing and meat sliced when you order the sub.; C) For the amount of meat you get, Mike's subs are at a bit of a premium. In fact, while eminently edible, this sub's a skinny pup in the meat department. At first, I couldn't figure out the "5 stars" that's accorded ...SUBS! (Sorry, Brandi!), but then I realize that ratings are (and need to be) not only in the context of the cuisine, but perhaps price-range as well; meaning, the restaurant giving me a delicious meal at a great price will always get a star or two extra over the equally-delicious place with "king's ransom" prices. read more

The most horrible customer service and experience. They lost my online order and still took the money off my gift card. So then tried to re-order subs again for me and my son and 1 year old daughter. I only had $5 left on the gift card because they already deducted it from the order they had lost. I was not paying for the subs twice. Their subs are my favorite, but we will NEVER go there again. The bread/sub rolls are markedly smaller and less tasty, they always put too much dressing on even when I ask for "just a little," in fact, they never really listen to directions regarding how I want my sub made. I've been to Jersey Mikes elsewhere and had a relatively good experience. Perhaps the manager left their underlings in charge for the day at this particular location; I'm not sure. I was acknowledged when I entered and they did take my order right away, but once they started with the high school boy banter between the counter and the back area I began to lose confidence in the way food was possibly being handled behind the scenes. They didn't say anything in particular to offend me or make me feel that way and I didn't see them do anything with the food that was out of sorts, but the feeling that was growing was not good. There was a level of unprofessionalism bouncing around behind the counter and I suddenly found myself not wanting any of them preparing my food. So I left without saying a word as the guy in the back was preparing my sub. I have no problem with people having fun and joking around at work and I honestly don't think these guys were aware that their "fun" was putting anyone off.
