Mushroom for roast beef!

This place is the worst! Ordered 2 engine companies which is turkey and roast beef. These employees decided to use canned mushrooms for the roast beef. Bread was not fresh. The sub was cold and they messed up other toppings too. The time before that, they messed up that too, and forgot the pickles and that's their trademark. And they always overcharge. Scammers. Never returning

My boyfriend and I came in here about 20 mins before they closed and not only was the store clean but Kevin, Todd, and Chase were kind and friendly. The food was amazing and it was our first time trying a Firehouse.

The Engineer! Yum

I always have good luck at the Firehouse subs in Lake Mary. The food is made fresh to order and they use quality meats and cheeses. This go around I ordered the Engineer with extra toppings. The sandwich was delicious; loaded with meat, mushrooms, cheese, additional vegetables and sauces without being soggy. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is kept clean and orderly even during the lunch rush. The only thing missing is a second fountain drink machine in case the main one fails.

I haven't been here in so long, I've forgotten how good their subs are! I love their care process: how they steam all their meats, how they toast their buns, how they stack and add their scrumptious toppings. It was nice enjoying a sub totally different out of my regular norm! So I did bad today and I cheated by eating meat! I just wish they offered other options for vegetarians or pescatarians, otherwise I will have to avoid this place, but for now, I'm sinking my mouth into this chicken breast with mushrooms, and yes sir, it is delicious! What I also missed is their scrumptious pickles! There's nothing more sexy than a sandwich and a pickle on the side! Did I mention their large variety of Hot sauces? Well you gotta try them too!

I ordered an Italian Chicken salad with some add-ons. Definitely did not get what I ordered. Did not find out until I got home. I tried calling and the person on the phone did not care. Need to check your order before you leave the store.

My family and I have been coming here for years and we love the service here. I absolutely love the long selection from the drink kiosk they have there; the 1,000 choices to choose from.

Every single pickle had its own unique flavor and was absolutely delicious. I had a craving for a Chicago-style hot dog and was hoping they would have one on the menu. Even though they didn't officially offer it, they were kind enough to make one for me and my husband as close as possible to the real thing. It turned out super delicious! You could tell the hot dog was grilled perfectly and had amazing flavor. We also ordered onion rings and their potato salad, and both were excellent. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. There were still so many things on the menu we wanted to try, so we will definitely be coming back!

Within 20 minutes of being there, we walked out with Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, chimichurri, and a stuffed pork chop. The Swedish meatballs are AMAZING. We just heated them up in the microwave but they were the most moist and well-seasoned Swedish meatballs/sauce that we've ever had. Blows IKEA meatballs out of the water. Mashed potatoes were super velvety and perfect with the meatballs. Chimichurri sauce is perfectly seasoned. We're trying the pork chop and brussel sprouts tonight but based off everything else, I'm sure it will be delicious. In their ad it looked delicious, with thin-sliced meat stacked high on beautiful marble rye bread. Our pastrami sandwich didn't remotely resemble a true NY deli style thin-sliced hot pastrami sandwich - like we enjoy at TwoJay's a few blocks west. Instead we got maybe 3 tough, thick grisly pieces of some mystery meat that tasted nothing like real pastrami. It was served on thin slices of rock hard stale bread. The flavor was as bad as it was tough to chew. It was a terrible sandwich that cost us almost $20 Hey Jason: don't rip your customers off and especially don't treat them like idiots. Pictures of food you publish in your ad should at least somewhat resemble the final product you deliver. Not here - not even close. The service was good. The folks working here were very pleasant. But the food was definitely sub-par. Even Publix pastrami beats this place. Never again.

Stasio's is absolutely worth checking out if you're looking for an authentic Italian deli…read moreexperience. From the moment we walked in, the staff at the front entrance was incredibly welcoming and even took the time to show us around the market. The ambience feels like a neighborhood Italian shop, with shelves lined with imported products from Italy that make it fun to browse while you wait. It's a small, casual space that feels authentic rather than overly polished. We ordered the Italian sub with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the standard toppings, along with the chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka sauce. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor and tasted fresh. The sun-dried tomatoes were a great addition to the Italian, although I do think it could have used a little more meat. Considering the price, I expected it to be a bit more generously filled. The chicken cutlet sandwich was delicious overall, but the cutlet itself was a little dry. I asked for extra sauce, and initially the employee seemed reluctant and tried to charge me for it. After I showed him how dry the sandwich was, he gave me the sauce, which made a huge difference and brought the sandwich together. That interaction was really my only service-related critique. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the sandwiches are satisfying, and the market has a unique charm you don't find at most sandwich shops. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the authentic atmosphere and quality make it a place I'd happily come back to. I'd love to work my way through more of the menu on future visits.

After a 10 mile hike at Orlando Wetlands, I was ready to eat. I'd read about Stasio's on some…read more"best sandwich" lists and decided it was time to try it out. I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.
