If you order catering I recommend calling before and verifying the pick up order. I set mine for 11:15 and it wasn't ready. They said "we thought it was 11:30" clearly they need to double check their times. Very frustrating when I am catering lunch for other people. We love coming here as the staff is really kind, the food is consistently good/fresh and it's very convenient. My favorite is the big kahuna chicken with banana peppers. My son loves the ham and provolone. You pay a little more because the ingredients are better quality than the place that rhymes with Scrubhay AND they slice the meat as you order. Was hungry the other day for lunch, happened to be on Broadway, so I pulled into the plaza and it was home to a Jersey Mike's Sub & a Five Guys. I am familiar with Five Guys, but NEVER, EVER, had a Jersey Mike's sub, even though I grew up in South Jersey. I decided to try out Jersey Mike's. I was in a JM about 14-15 years ago when they just opened. I lived in SoCal at the time & wasn't really impressed with them. Maybe things have changed, the large menu was above the sandwich stations & I also noticed that they added Cheesesteaks to the menu. I placed my order with what appeared to be the manager of the store. It was lunchtime and he was in the starting spot. I went with a Supreme or Super Sub, I'm not sure if the name, but the manager grabbed a fresh roll off the rack & sliced the meat as I ordered. The meat was fresh, and tasted great! I've NEVER been to a Subway(OK, 1 time when I lived in South Florida, but walked out when they started to microwave the meat) but I think some of the employees pointed out topping, sauces, etc, like I have been to a Subway, because I heard it's NOT like Subway. OK, so I'm from South Jersey, very close to Philly, so I've had every kind of roll or bread available, so how was the sub? Everything inside the sub was great, everything was fresh, lettuce, tomatoes, etc...but the roll came up short when comparing it to a North East roll. Why 4 stars? Well, the restaurant was a in need of a wipe down. It's lunch time, you have plenty of employees , make time every 15 minutes for someone to clean off the tables & wipe them down. I ate outside, as there were a couple tables outside & it was sunny and in the 70s, both tables were empty but the one I picked had some corn meal from the rolls on it, as well as a bit dirty. This location is awful! The floors are filthy, the veggie station was dirty, and the staff is rude. I walked in and immediately asked what do you want. Not hello or how are you, just what do you want. I told the guy cooking, he proceeded to get out the bread and right away sneeze twice. He didn't stop to wash his hands or get a different piece of bread, just kept cooking. I had started a review for this place probably a month or two ago. I was so impressed with our first visit, I gave them 5 stars. But figured I would go again to ensure it was consistent. Well I have been there probably 5 or 6 times and am still loving it. It is now my favorite sandwich place . We happened to stop by here just to try it out. My favorite is their #5 awesome Super Italian hoagie. Love that the meats are sliced for your sandwich as part of your order. Also love the high stacked sandwich with the meats, cheese and lettuce, tomato, onions and Mike's sauce (oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper). Soo soo good! We had never been to Jersey Mikes until we received a gift card there last year. It has quickly become our favorite place to order from. The Italian Sub on Rosemary cheese bread is my go to and my only complaint is that sometimes it has too much sandwich juice on it. I always order ahead through DoorDash for pickup. I'm from Jersey - and this Stickball sub was nothing like what I would have received back home. There wasn't the right amounts of anything to justify the $16 price tag. When I walked in, there was one person in line. I ordered and waited for 20 minutes. I then politely asked if maybe my order had gotten lost. 3 people had come and gone after me, so I didn't think it was crazy to aks. I wasn't upset, mistakes happen. The guy I asked was really polite and answered saying it's being made next. The cook in the back then started yelling at me. Screaming that I'm going to have to wait. Clearly he's having a bad day, but no need to take it out on me. He was also the slowest of the three employees so I imagine it's not fun having him as a coworker. read more

Have ordered online pickup twice now. Both times they were frantically trying to fill orders, and both times had to wait (10/15) respectively extra for my order. This location is very slow and seems to be understaffed. On a weekend when the CEO is donating 20% to food banks you should be fully staffed. I could have driven to WY in the time it's taking to get 2 fairly easy to make sandwiches. I won't be coming to this location again. The Englewood location on Broadway has never had a wait this long.
