I'm done with this location! Every time we use the app for pick up or delivery, bad things happen. They ignore ANY customization and ALWAYS give less meat! Again they ignored our request for extra lettuce and they hardly put any turkey on our turkey and cheese! This place makes the worst Jersey mikes subs. They are sloppy and careless in putting it together, the meat did not even cover the entire length of the sandwich. I spent 40$ on two subs and there can't be 3 dollars worth of meat on the two combined. When I DoorDash from This place it's even worse. Great Mike's Subs location in Long Branch. Ordered thru the app with no issues. The Big Kahuna Cheesesteak did not disappoint, loaded with peppers onions mushrooms Jalapeños and American cheese it did not disappoint. They the app you can specify any changes, mayonnaise, ketchup etc. The sandwich was hot and ready when I got there. One star off for the quantity of steak, little stingy on the meat given the $15.25 price tag. read more

A solid three, it's still not wawa :) It was a bit expensive IMO but there was a lot of meat on the sandwich at least. The guy just made it super messy and it went everywhere. Didn't even put napkins in either. Would only go if I was looking for a sandwich and wawa wasnt in the area. read more

This should be a 1 star review but considering COVID-19, there is some leeway. The place is usually on point but unfortunately the the evening crew is just after with millennial who don't know anything about customer service.. Or worse caring for someone else's business. The last 2 times I ordered sandwiches in the evening both times they were incorrect. This time I forgot my mask and was opening the door to ask what time they close so I could go get my mask and come back... The dude stood there and stared at me as I opened the door and the only thing he said was " You need a mask" ..not sorry sir., I'd like help but uou need a mask...now to compound problems...the sandwich was wrong..wrong bread.. Bread is the 1st item that you choose when making your sandwich... So I called the store I was pretty pissed because this was the second time. .. The inconsiderate millennial told me that they didn't have any more of the bread that I wanted ... So my response was so you don't tell me when I'm picking up my sandwich... You don't call Me Before You make my sandwich... Visited this location at 8:38pm on a Saturday. Walked in and one of the workers told me they were closed unless we were picking up sandwiches even though the closing time is 9:00pm. I asked him to clarify because the closing time on the door was listed 9pm. He then told me in a rude tone of voice that "we are done making sandwiches." A couple of girlfriends and I stopped in here around 2pm during a beach trip. We each ordered subs and opted to eat in. They seemed to have a full staff working so the service was pretty quick and the associates were friendly. There was a minor line but were we able to fine a table without a problem once we ordered and paid, I was surprised and disappointed to find that there was no outdoor seating available. The sandwich was pretty straight forward and the bread was nothing special but the meal served it's purpose and I would have lunch here again I just wouldn't seek out a Jersey Mike's if I knew there was an Italian deli nearby. read more

I had half a tuna sub from here that my friend did not want. The half was very small. The tuna was with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The tuna was fresh, but I just thought it was a little bland. The bread was tasty though. The size of the sub really disappointed me for the price that was paid ($7 I believe). The service appeared to be good when my friend was placing his order. The Ursula plaza Jersey Mike's recently opened and it is exactly what you would expect from this business. Good subs, chips, and sodas. Does it match up to a good deli or pizza joint with great cold cuts --- of course not. It's hard to understand how some Jersey Mike's are better than others when you would think they all have the same training and basic concept. But this location has a couple of issues that I have not found I thought others. Unless it was a one off I just ordered a turkey sub that had literally three or four slices of turkey on it very strange. And after asking for light oil and vinegar they still Soak it like a faucet. We love this location of Jersey Mike's! I've been to a couple others who weren't as clean, quick and accommodating as this location. I've seen the same employees here since the store opened which is a testament to good owners/management. Everyone is professional and I love that I get a free sandwich every few visits with my rewards points. It's a nice surprise when it happens. Plus my daughter is addicted to the fresh bread and brownies! So happy to have this little gem close to home. read more

I have gone here multiple times and have never had any problems until today. I did an online order and still waited in the store for almost a half hour, granted they were very busy and that's understandable. I order 1 sandwich and a bag of chips....the sandwich was incorrect and the bag of chips was open. I called to just make them aware and i'm assuming who they put on the phone was the manager and she was extremely rude. She seemed annoyed that I even called and it wasn't even to complain about the wait, it was that the food was open and incorrect. The only reason I am giving this 1 start is because of the great lady at the register. Even with the offer of a free lunch that I declined, I will not return to this store. read more

Sometimes service outweighs product.... I noticed Jersey Mike's on my way back from Sandy Hook Beach and decided to stop by and try one of their cheesesteaks. Had heard of the place but had never tried them. Well, all the young workers behind the counter were friendly, polite, and considerate. The sandwich was good, too. Not the best cheesesteak ever, but I'd have it again. But what stood out was the service... and the bathroom was clean. Yay! Got there 1pm on Wed afternoon, and there were about 20 people on line ahead of me. 10 minutes later there were 20 people on line ahead of me. 6 employees, 4 looked like they were doing nothing. One was furiously slicing meat but not making any sandwiches with it. The only time I moved was when the two guys ahead of me gave up an left. After a few minutes I did the same and went to the pizzeria a few doors down where I saw those same two guys sitting at a table, half done with some nice Italian heroes. Ordered a whole tuna sub with provolone, onions and lettuce for I and my wife. We requested that both insides of the sub have mayo. The sandwich maker used like seven thin onion rings (rings, not full slices) and literally dabbed less than a 1/10th of an ounce of mayo on the bread. Asked him for more mayo please, of which he sparingly dabbed even less than the first time. When I asked for additional onions, he said that's all they are allowed per sandwich. Really great subs, high quality ingredients. Jersey Mike's will actually slice your meat deli-style right on the spot. The staff at this location are very polite and efficient, it's very nice to see people taking obvious pride in their work, and having really solid customer service skills. Making subs shouldn't be too hard, but so many other similar places (Subway are you listening) consistently fall short with disinterested and rude staff, etc. At JM's, each sub is customized to your liking using really good ingredients. I had the Chipolte Chicken sub yesterday, it was one of the best, if not THE best sub I ever had. Chicken was chopped and grilled up on order, amazing peppers and sauce. Truly great-tasting, I even went back there for dinner because it was so good. I don't get to JM's very often, since I'm from upstate NY. JM's is slightly expensive but man, seriously, worth every penny. Very, very happy with their subs! A+ read more
