This expedience was super pleasant. Upon walking in there was a warm greeting and the employees genuinely seemed to enjoy their time together during their shift. One of them had a lot of enthusiasm and I commented on it in a positive way. Their attitudes were refreshing because usually the attitudes are negative at fast casual stores. I have had the chance to eat a many sub sandwiches. However, I have never had the pleasure of eating a Jersey Mike's Sub until today. And I actually feel that I have cheated myself. I'll just say that is was the best sub that I ever tasted. I ordered a philly cheesesteak and my wife ordered the original italian sub. Both sandwiches were delicious and huge. I ate my sandwich and then after I finished my sandwich I attempted to lock on to my wife's sub. I made off with about 1/3 of here sandwich but she was not having it! Man! Those subs were the bomb!!! I Love jersey Mike's subs and have been a shore points member for a long time. Today I went to the location on Power road near target to get 5 regular subs for workers at a shop who get a daily lunch break at noon. There was no line when I went in so everything looked ok. The guy took my order and I sat down to wait. After I sat down a woman and child came in after me and placed an order after me. As I am waiting I noticed the young girls talking to her by the prep area. I got up and noticed which looked like 4 or 5 Giant subs being garnished? So I asked the checkout girl why my order is still not ready? She had no answer so I asked the kid who took my order why were hers put ahead of mine? he said that he doesn't handle that issue? I saw my 5 regular subs sitting there with meat already to go as usually the kid who takes the orders cuts the bread and cuts the meats and then slides them to his right for garnishing. So, I asked another girl behind the counter and she also had no answer for me, I asked who the manager was and a kid just showed up said he was and was putting on his apron and said he just got there and had no answer for me. You would think that with Common sense that my order should've been made first? I don't always buy 5 or 6 at a time but this was lunch for working men and they were on a time schedule and I was trying to accommodate them. My order bread was sliced even before the woman showed up so there should be better communication behind the counter. Prior to that order I ordered a sub for myself and ate it before placing my order. The last few times I have ordered just for myself that the workers really overload the subs with way too much oil, they pour and pour and pour and a dash of vinegar. I ordered sub a couple of weeks ago with mayo and it had so much mayo it was oozing all over and overpowered the rest of the sub. Maybe some updated training is in order? Subs are great but have to be balanced and being from Jersey myself I can attest to how good they are at times but fall flat other times. So nest time I will have to ask to go lightly on the oil and mayo as to not be disappointed when I take my first bites. I will continue to go but I will be more observant while watching the process run by kids that possibly don't know or weren't properly trained. Me and my boyfriend went later in the night and was greeted by a younger tall white guy and seemed very friendly but didn't make a lot of conversation. We both got cold subs, and mine was in a wrap. We both asked for mayo and it quite literally felt like we were both just eating mayo, even after I had asked to take some off. Another thing is that our sub papers and bag were just super loosely wrapped especially mine, both ends of my tortilla were just spilling out. In all honesty this location has just gone downhill ever since the old manager left. I used to come here at least 3 times a week and loved everyone who worked there. Now it feels like a shell of what it used to be, I haven't seen any of my regular people and I can only assume they quit especially after so many of them saying they would. It's a shame though because I go to MCC and it was a great place to go hang out and get some good food but since the management change there's just been a decline of food quality and attitude from the staff. Another small thing but they have taken so many drinks out of the Pepsi fridge which is ironic because it's nearly empty most of the time. Just for extra details I almost always come later in the night. It's just been so consistent at this point, the food quality, attitude, and just overall cleanliness has been terrible I just cannot give this place any more chances. My Sammy was super delicious. I like their food because it always feel so fresh and prepared on the spot, instead of sitting and waiting for someone to come in. I love that I can add jalapeños to any sandwich as well. I wasn't sure when we mobile ordered for the first time, but there they were, waiting for me to choose them for my foot long. They were spicy, made my whole day. We found the first Jersey Mike's in California, and were really happy to find one closer to home. We've popped in for lunch a few times now, and our sandwiches were perfect as requested each time. I like that the app remembers my previous order as well. I order sandwiches a day before online for a pick up at 11:15 on june 19th. On my way to picking them up I called in around 11:45 to see if they were ready since I didn't get a conformation email or email saying they were ready. They had informed me that they haven't even started to make the order, which is confusing since they were meant to be ready at 11:15. They explained that they were super busy that day and I said I understood and asked when it would be ready and they said around 20 mins then I asked since it late if we could do a discount or something and they said teh would speak to manager. (This was frustrating but not horrible. Unfortunately this was for a meeting so I had to leave middle of meeting get food. I left early to get the food and pulled in right when they called me. I walk in wait in line patiently seeing that it was busy, I understood and didnt want to be rude since clearly they were having a day. I finally get the food from the manager, a younger blondle lady and ask if there is anything they can do since it was over an hour late. This is where I got most upset, She immediately gets agressive and tells me she will not be doing anything for me and blames it on me that it was late. Stating that if I had shown up at 11:15 they would have started making it for me then and that it would not be late. I state I would still be late beause they would have made it after 11:15 and I would have wait for them to make this larger catoring order. She gets more aggressive and them me it is still my fault and that I need to show up on time and that she cannot do anything for me since the card had already been ran and I was like you didn't send me any notifications that it was ready or ran. I told her that I would just call later since they were busy and she was clearly upset. Overall, I understand being busy and stressed but when something that should have been prepped ahead of time is not after an hour past the time it was meant to be ready and then the manager of the branch tells you multiple times its your fault and that she is not doing anything for you and is very aggressive the whole time that is where I have a problem. Her job is to make sure customers are taking care of and leaving with a good experience and she was literally the rudest and most unprofessional person i spoke to. Everyone person that's helped serve me has had a great attitude, and that's rare to see over the course of 4 years at any fast food/restaurant. That's strongly goes along with how FANTASTIC their food is. Sliced right in front t if you, on bread that tastes fresh! Mikes way is one of the best combinations for a sub and gives your selection a true taste of a east coast sandwich. Wow I'm still amazed at how great this place is, especially the one here on Dobson. JM on the NE corner of Southern & Dobson just east of the Tempe border. The place was spotless with cheerful, helpful staff led by Manager Desiree. She made me a club & tuna fish regular. The 2 tuna fish subs I've had at 2 different JMs are the best I ever had. I really liked how fresh and tasty it was. My subs were in my hands in under 10 minutes. There is a huge parking lot and Mesa community college football field is just across the street-great place to chow down before or after the game. Highly recommended. read more

I'm not the type to normally leave a yelp review, but this store has done me wrong quite a handful of times, and tonight was a $25 loss on a $50 order and they refused to fix the issue. Had ordered two sandwiches (giant, extra cheese, expensive) and a drink, they messed up my girlfriend's sandwich leaving off one of the requested meats (not the first time they've done it). So I called in and explained the situation, was super cool about it, let em know I'm only calling because it's becoming a usual thing and she wants her sandwich correct and they still refused to remake or refund the sandwich. After pleading a little reminding than I'm a regular, will be back in, and this is the first time I'm calling despite them giving me the wrong order frequently. The employee finally offered for me to drive back over there and receive pepperoni for free, but not a new sandwich. When I asked for the manager I was shrugged off and responded to with "my manager wouldn't be cool with me giving out a free giant sandwich." I responded with saying that I don't think that's fair or acceptable, at which point I was met with silence, guy disappeared didn't respond to anything I said until I just hung up. First time in one of these joints. It's definitely better than Subway or Jimmy Johns, but still doesn't hold a candle to Cheba Hut. I got the big Chipolte Cheese Steak with the rosemary something bread toasted. It's a nice change and has a great flavor. You would not know chipolte was involved if they didn't use it in the name. I will more than likely go there again someday. The one thing that I noticed about this chain is that there is absolutely no mention on their website or on the PDF menu of the bread choices. Customer service is seriously lacking. It was like pulling teeth to get them to speak or to listen to me beyond saying "what can I get for you." I asked for light lettuce, and the employee did not acknowledge me when I spoke and was about to put a regular portion on my sub until I told her again, that's enough lettuce. They also charged me incorrectly, charging me for two 14in subs when I ordered a regular and a kids meal. They then gave me someone else's order.
