I believe this is either the newest or one of the newer sub chains to Utah and their attempt at differentiation winds up in more "deli-kinda sorta" sandwiches, including hot and cold. So, let's compare and contrast. The heavy emphasis on charity was reminiscent of Even Stevens. I'm not going to be so graceless as to imagine that the local chain stole or borrowed the concept from the chain or to suggest that either is a clever and well-orchestrated marketing campaign, but will simply observe that both of them spend a lot of time pointedly observing it. The cold sandwich itself reminded me of Blimpie's on a Jimmy John's bun. The cookies are fantastic, frankly and one of the highlights. Diet Mt. Dew on tap and I believe Coke Zero also. The place was crawling with people, but they managed to kick the speed nearly up to Jimmy John's as well...quality was considerably better, though and the dude dressing the sandwiches insisted on doing that short of showoff stuff that Tom Cruise did behind the bar in Cocktail. What the Hell, it was sort of fun and didn't disrupt things and frankly, dude had a good rhythm going... I'd definitely give Joisey Mike's another go, without question, just not if I was with a bunch of people. They do a good job, even with a ton of people in the joint (this place is tiny - definitely do NOT bring the house or it's going to suck for everyone) and the food is very, very solid. It's slightly pricier than I would like, but for a fast food sandwich shop, they're pretty hard to beat. read more

I've been there multiple times and it has quickly become my favorite fast sandwich place. The quality of ingredients is top notch. I've only tried their cold subs, however, so I can't speak for the hot ones. At first, I thought slicing the meat and cheese right in front of you was a gimmick, but now I'm convinced it does lead to a fresher taste (maybe less oxygen exposure?). I'm not sure why the first two reviews were so poor of this place. My boyfriend and I stopped in this afternoon for lunch and the experience was fantastic. The place was clean and organized. The produce was very fresh and full of flavor & the sandwich portions were huge. Two people could probably split a hot sandwich. I ordered the big Kahuna cheese steak and think it might have been my favorite Philly to date. There were 4 employees working during our lunch who were young, but courteous and professional. After delivering our food two of them checked back to ask how our food was - which you typically don't see at a quick-serve sandwich shop. The only potentially downfall is that the sandwiches are a bit pricey, but the portions make up for it. We'll definitely be back! Check this place out - it looks like they could use a few more positive reviews - which would be accurate of our experience today! read more

Really good subs. I lived in New Jersey for a couple of years and this reminds me of the food I ate there. I had the number 13,which they say is their original sub. You can have it Mike's way which adds tomatoes, onions and a few other things. All I can say is give this place a try, really good subs. read more

Filthy dining room! Unfriendly staff except for the young man that came out from the back to help the two gals that certainly didn't want to be at work and definitely not work with customers! One finished sweeping the kitchen and then immediately swiped Turkey from the cold table directly to the floor!!!! This location has horrible customer service. The food is generally good. Placed an order sitting in the parking lot at 5:45. Said it would be ready at 6:06. My wife walked in at 6:02 And they hadn't even printed the ticket yet. When my wife asked if it was ready yet around 6:16 the 2 girls became very agitated and rude stating it had only been placed 10 minutes prior. When my wife tried to say the order was placed at 5:45 and was supposed to be ready at 6:06. We asked for a refund and refused stating they could not give a refund. When my wife stated orders just kept going out they said it's corporate policy to do it that way. Staff was very rude yelling in front of other customers that they did not have to provide me a manager's name or there name. We asked for the phone and refused to provide that as well until one male employee handed us a menu with the number to the store. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will not return to this store in the future. read more

Having two homes, one in Salt Lake City, UT and one in Dallas, TX, I was pleased to find Jersey Mikes made it to SLC. After experiencing my first dine at the Murray location, they were out of Wheat Bread during the lunch hours and to top this unique experience, no fresh brewed iced tea like all of the Texas locations have. I think the tea is the best and this location is a dud to never experience again. They do not even serve brewed iced tea. I may just stop my Jersey Mike all together runs and try another chain for my future eats. Are all of the Utah locations lacking the iced tea? I will find out this afternoon and not be sending any of my friends to eat at Utah JM's. read more

I'm glad Jersey Mike's has finally arrived in Utah. I know, they have been here for close to a year and I'm finally writing a review. I like subs but usually make my own but when I want one NOW I'll go to Jersey Mike's. I like their no. 13 Italian sub. And my wife likes the chicken philly cheese stake. Now cooking and serving people for years I have learned a few things about cooking. Number one rule is to never use the same utensil for raw chicken while your finishing cooking the cooked beef. I was curious about this place. I ordered a turkey, the kid said something really fast, I couldn't understand him. I asked what he said, he said it again really fast, I still didn't understand him so I just said yeh. So then the kid douses my sandwich with vinegar and red whine vinaigrette, salt and pepper. Not what I wanted, but I agreed to whatever he said. My boyfriend got a chipotle steak sandwich in a combo. It came out to $23. Wow, pretty expensive for a 1 1/2 subs, one bag of chips and a drink. I ate my sandwich, it was nothing special, Fire House Subs is way better. My boyfriend wasn't impressed with his sandwich either. I mean they aren't bad, but they are nothing special. Next time I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

Extremely impressed with the staff here. Specifically Kyle, Maya, and Sierra. We came 30 minutes before closing from the hospital with an order for 20 sandwiches. As a chain of sub sandwich restaurants, Jersey Mike's is very good! Our favorite is the Italian. It comes loaded with Italian meats and cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar, and spices. One of the better subs I've ever had. The bread it comes on is fresh and flavorful and just enough to balance out with all the deliciousness inside. We were also super impressed with their customer service. Very polite and helpful. I would go here over Subway any day. read more

I love this place! Food was great and the service was awesome. The guy in the man bun with the goatee was amazing, he came to our table to check up on how the food was and that's just something you don't see much of anymore. Very clean place with delicious Subs.
