DO NOT ORDER CATERING! Ordered 7 boxes of subs for a graduation party on 6/20/26. Asked the GM of store to cut the subs into 4 pieces instead of 3, which is their standard method. Stores in Frankfort, Orland Park and Tinley Park have always accommodated this request without an issue in the past. When I arrived the order was not ready at the chosen pickup time of 1:30pm. When inspecting the order at 1:38 pm to ensure everything was correct, I was informed that they cut the sub into 6 pieces instead of 4 pieces. I was fine with that even though annoyed that my request was ignored. The bigger issue was that they did not individually wrap the sub pieces and put 2 pieces in one wrapper. When I questioned this, I was given a variety of excuses and treated like I was in the wrong. They reluctantly corrected their mistake and wrapped the pieces individually as they should have been done originally. However this process took over an hour even though I was told it would take 5 to 10 minutes. They finally brought out the boxes of subs with the corrected wrapped pieces, though they only completed 6 of the 7 seven boxes hoping that I would not notice it. I asked them to finish the uncorrected box, and the worker responded "Oh, you want this one done too?" As you can see in the photo, the subs barely had substance to them, and we felt the sandwiches were skimpy and were embarrassed to serve them to our guests. I contacted corporate to find a resolution to this horrible order experience. Rather than trying find a solution, corporate berated me via the email exchange, deflecting the blame on me, and repeatedly called it "my misunderstanding". Throughout the communications, not once did they take accountability for any mistake on their part. In one communication they insisted that if they had cut the sub into 4 pieces that the subs would not fit into the box properly. HUH !?! 4 piece subs won't fit, but 6 piece subs did? Go to another sandwich shop if you want to be treated like an actual human being and get value for your money!!! read more

I've written quite a few reviews,but I've never reviewed a fast food restaurant. Partly because I rarely eat at fast food restaurants. However in this case I'm going to make an exception. For a fast food sandwich this is my favorite. I get the Original Italian and it's always very good. The reason that I'm writing this review is not so much because of the food but rather the efficiency, profe and cleanliness of this establishment. It would not let me give zero stars or I would. I ordered for delivery, and I was (until today) a frequent customer. They simply omitted my sandwich. Not wrong, not there. I called up and spoke to someone. At first she tried to blame the DoorDash driver, and said that he had a reputation for stealing sandwiches! NONSENSE! The bag was sealed and no seals were tampered or broken. I also know the driver from dozens of other deliveries during this pandemic and he is reliable and honest. After I noted this, I was told that the store would credit back the cost of the sandwich (I received no such credit as of this writing) and FLATLY REFUSED to deliver a new one. Instead she said that, if I wanted the sandwich for which they first charged me and then refused to deliver, I would have to drive there. I have never had such hostile and discourteous service in my life. Instead of an opportunity to make things right and get a five star review, they chose to abuse me and instead give me a mission in life to drive away customers so that they are also not abused. read more

Great food never had a problem. I consider myself a good customer until I got a sub that I didn't like and returned it. Put the sandwich on the counter left my phone number for a manager to get back to me. Never received a call so I called Jersey mikes and no one answered the phone. 3 weeks go by and I decided to go to the store to resolve the issue. The manager said 3/4 of the sandwich was eaten,it was weeks old and bought at a different location all false. Messed up half the order. When I called they were rude to me. The customer service was incredibly rude.

The bread on my sub was great. The delivery was on time. I got the #7 and #11. The cookies were big chunky and chewy.

Jersey Mike's impressed me more than I thought it would. Upon entering and looking at the menu, it looked like another Jimmy John's or a glorified Subway. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot I got a #2 (Jersey Shore Favorite) on wheat with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, oil, vinegar, oregano, and salt. It seemed like their flagship sub, and I figured that if this wasn't good, then there's no need to come back. The staff was friendly upon ordering. The process was slower than anticipated, but the group ahead of me had a lot of demands so I won't hold it against the staff. The restaurant itself had some cool decorations and nods to their Jersey origins. I took a bite of the sub and I was hooked. The ratio of oil, vinegar, oregano, and salt was perfect. I have only had the tuna as I am a fish-only eater but it's always been good. Try your sandwich "the mikes way"!! First time at Mikes....All I gotta say is, SCREW SUBWAY AND JIMMY JOHNS! Lol I just wanted a quick delicious sub on a very busy day and I was completely satisfied. I had the #43 Chipotle Cheese Steak and it was so delicious! I love the fact that they actually cook the meat and not just shove it in some microwave. For cold subs, they actually slice the meat on the meat slicer. Ingredients are fresh and not some prepackaged BS. This is my new favorite Fast Food joint for subs. This specific location in New Lenox is also very clean, fun, laid back atmosphere and staff is extremely nice and professional. Can't wait to try the Meatball and Cheese next time or one of their cold subs so I can get it "Mikes Way," meaning they use their special blend of red wine vinegar, olive oil and spices! I love Jersey Mike's but when I ordered thru the app, I did not get what I ordered. I paid for a gluten free bread and they put it in regular bread. Luckily I noticed before I started eating or I would have gotten sick. Let me first start off by saying that I love Jersey Mike's. I have also order from this location for years. This last experience will however be my last. I did an online order through the website and was given a time for pickup. I showed up at the pickup time and there was about 6 people in line. I told them I was there for pickup and they told me they are just waiting for a couple for sandwiches. I only had 4. 10 minutes go by then 20 minutes go by. At this point they have completed every one in line and new customers were walking in. They had proceeded to complete even the new customers that walked in. At this point I'm 30 minutes past my guaranteed pickup time. Although I was upset I grabbed my food and went home. I open up my daughters cheesesteak sandwich and it only partially cooked with half of it red and raw. At this point I drive back as this was something that could get someone sick. When I went back I asked for a manager and a young woman said she was the manager. She appeared to be very defensive and as I explained the wait time she said that they accommodate online orders in between walk in orders. I told her that it says guaranteed pickup and skip the line, and I understand there will be delays but i waited over a half hour past my pickup time and on top of that when I got home the steak was not fully cooked. She said that's how they cook the steak and in a condescending remark she said "that's how people eat steak". I proceeded to explain that steaks are cooked to different temperatures but not steak sandwiches. She just looked at me with a smirk almost to instigate a reaction from me by being unhelpful and unapologetic so I said I understand and left. Never raised my voice or got angry yet she did nothing to accommodate or never apologized. Take a look at the photo and judge for yourself if this is how philly steak sandwiches are cooked. I'd never been to this sub chain before, so when one opened in New Lenox I had to try them out and see how they compared to Jimmy John's. I played it safe for my first visit and ordered the No. 7 (turkey breast and provolone) on wheat bread. The bread is very crisp and crusty, the meat is sliced in front of you in deli-thin slices, and all of the toppings are fresh. And the employees are super-friendly; they must hire them for their outgoing personalities. The only reason I didn't give Jersey Mike's five stars is because I ordered my sub with "everything," by which I meant pickles, hot peppers, and all of the other toppings they had displayed. But when I got home, I discovered they had only made it "Mike's Way," the standard topping of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar, and spices which is included on every cold sub at Jersey Mike's. It was still a very tasty sandwich, and I probably should have watched while they made it so I could have told them exactly what I wanted. But still, doesn't "everything" usually mean . . . well, everything? No matter. Jersey Mike's still whips up a mean sub and I plan on coming back here soon to try the Club Supreme or the Grilled Pastrami Reuben. So with all the positive reviews, I decided to try this place as I was craving a fresh sub. It was nice and clean, there was no line, and the staff was friendly so I was initially pleased. I'm not sure the slicing of deli meat to order adds any value or quality to the sandwich except for taking more time to assemble your basic sub. My turkey was of the pressed variety and the provolone looked pretty sad. I got it Mike's way, which was lettuce, onion, tomato, oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. I ordered a "mini" sized sub (which I think was 4 inches) and a small drink, and I got a buck and change from a 10 spot. Really????? I was starving, but after taking my first and second bites and only tasting the double mound of cold shredded lettuce, I wrapped up my sandwich and took off. I will admit, the next day there was a bit more flavor as the oil and vinegar was able to permeate all those bits of greens (like a coleslaw) but I wasn't after a salad on a roll. I have no idea if Mike's other offerings had more potential. In the end, it didn't really matter as I won't be coming back. read more

This was the first time I'd ever been to Jersey Mike's, and I'm hooked. Went here on Sunday afternoon around noon. We were immediately greeted by the manager and other staff. The staff is super friendly. They explained the menu to us since we were newbies and were helpful. I ordered a Philly steak and the husband ordered a Philly chicken. Everything was made fresh to order. No pre-measured slices of cheese or paper trays of steak here (I'm looking at you, Subway). Food was out to order about 5 minutes after we paid. Bread was fresh, meat was tasty, and that melty cheese...I'm drooling just thinking about it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is for the price. I'd likely not go here without a coupon. Philly was around $7 just for the sandwich, and while I don't mind paying a premium for fresh ingredients, it's still a bit on the high side for me. If I could give 0 stars, I would... The customer service was decent up until recently...The Manager (his name was Alex) was flirtatious at first. There was no one else in the shop so it wasn't busy. He asked what kind of sandwich I wanted and started to make it. He then asked me out. I kindly declined while looking down at my phone since I was playing around on it....he didn't seem to like that but brushed it off. I didn't notice until I went home and started eating, but I found what looked like a black hair in my mayonnaise...I was hoping to god it wasn't a pubic hair...but it looked exactly like one...so I had to throw the whole thing out. I called the shop and Alex was the one who answered. I told him my concern and he basically laughed at me and hung up. I've been going to this Jersey Mikes in New Lenox since I first tried it when I was pregnant with my son Eli in 2014. I was so excited to try this place and it exceeded my expectations by far. It's been 2 1/2 years now that me, my daughter June, and now my son Eli, (who has severe food allergies) have been going there. I cannot begin to put into words how wonderful the handful of consistent staff there, have been to us. Especially Eli and Josh. They have gone above and beyond for my kids. My 5yo daughter named Josh, "her favorite guy" before actually learning his name. They have gone out of their way for us to make sure my son who we found out in April, has many food allergies, to make sure he can still eat with us. The food speaks for itself, but even if it was bad, I go here because they don't just treat us like customers, they treat us like family. read more

This was my first time trying any Jersey Mikes, not just this location. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the place was clean, and my sandwich had a good flavor. I also liked that they have diet Dr Pepper in addition to diet Pepsi. Although my gluten-free husband wasn't with me, I was pleased to notice they acknowledge the gluten-free issue, even if it was only by offering subs in a salad format rather than on bread. Negatives: I thought the food was overpriced. My regular cheesesteak and small drink was just under $10. The amount of meat in comparison to the size of the bread was very skimpy. With increasing numbers of people being diagnosed with gluten related health issues, they really should look into adding some gluten-free bread to their menu. All-in-all, I will probably stop in again and try one of their cold subs but I wouldn't bother with the skimpy cheese steak again. read more

I come in all the time. Love all the workers and managers, they definitely know how to run a decent sub joint. My last experience was by far the best though. I ordered an Italian on rosemary, Mike's way, no onion, extra vinegar(and I like my subs soaking in vinegar). The sandwich artist drenched it in vinegar! She proceeded to come into the service line, take her hair down and shake her head out of the pony tail. This was done right by the condiments which goes on top of the sandwiches. This was my first (then the next day, second) visit to a Jersey Mike's and I was not disappointed. All the staff was VERY fast, professional, polite, and personable. It was nice being helped by someone who seemed like they actually wanted to be there. When I went there my second time, there was a LONG line (last day of a big promotion) and the slicer went down - uh oh. Two employees swapped it out within 90 seconds - it was impressive to see. You can tell they are trained very well, good employees who enjoy their job. The food was also very good. Little higher price point than other quick sub joints, but for the quality of service it is worth it in my opinion. read more
