Unfortunately this location is struggling. My online order was 20+min late and there were several other people waiting around for theirs as well. My cheesesteak was below average. I bit into something hard? I think it was part of a vegetable but idk. A bit unnerving. On a side note, the health inspector was there and she was correcting error (vegetables not on ice for example that needed to be like tomatoes, lettuce and onions). At approximately 2pm my husband and I walked into Jersey's Mike on S Santa Fe Ave, it was our first time there so we were trying to figure out what to get, there was a nice white lady there that made suggestions and we picked something from her suggestions. There was a black woman there by the condiments and she asked if I wanted everything on My sub, I walked closer to the window and saw everything there was and told her yes everything is fine. She asked me again if I wanted everything I said "I just said everything" she lost her mind and claimed I was being rude and rolled my eyes at her. She started screaming her mind out and going on & on. I wasn't engaging in her behavior and she kept screaming and said she can "not make my sandwich and refund my money" I said that's fine you can go ahead and do that.. She walked over to the register and had the black male move I said he can do it since I don't want to engage in her behavior. She said no she is the manager I asked for her name she said "love". She's still yelling at us and she's pointing her fingers at my husband and saying he is quiet because he knows I'm rude. I said "he is quite because he knows how stupid this is" she started screaming again and said say stupid one more time and I did. She said you are not getting your money back n told the black male to give us our sandwich and she walked away. We waited patiently for him to finish. These people were so rude. She (the cashier) was yelling at everyone and there was a line for curbside orders and I was behind it. She then screamed at me telling me that she couldn't help me if I stood at the back of the store. I've been a fan of jersey mikes since it was first brought to okc. This was the original franchise location in okc. Their sandwiches are superior. Unfortunately, I have not been there since the Covid outbreak. Today I returned for the first time. I was astonished by the rude and unprofessional manager. I was at the store 30 minutes before they asked what ingredients I wanted on my sandwiches . I complained that they shoved all of the call in and to go orders in front of mine, hence the reason for the long wait. She told me that that's the way it's done. So all of the people waiting at the store just has to wait. She also told me I had complained once before which was untrue. I had not been in since the Covid outbreak. She told me to quit complaining or she would ban me from the store. I told her to just finish the sandwiches and she just kept spouting off. Left the store. Will never return. Usually a good dining experience, however my experience this evening caused me to walk out without even ordering. The people behind the counter were extremely unhelpful and down right rude. We have contacted the corporate offices and hopefully something will be done to remedy the situation. By far my favorite sub sandwich place in town! I come here quite often and the staff knows me and recognizes me right when I come in! I normally get the original Italian and get in giant so I can eat half then and the other half the next day. The meats and cheese on subs are top notch, even the lettuce, tomatoes and onions are awesome, super fresh. They have a nice atmosphere too although I've never actually sat down in the restaurant, I always ordered mine to go. It's not just that Jersey Mike's is a good chain, it's that the people who work here are nice, friendly and kind. Convenient whether eating in or carrying out, although I recommend carrying out. The foil keeps your hot sandwich delicious. Get the Reuben with extra kraut and their everything sandwich, 2-3 people. I wouldn't really compare it to subway, Quiznos, penn station. This is an awesome sandwich place! They have lots of options for cold and hot sandwiches that you can get on white bread, wheat bread, or a wrap. The place is always clean and the employees are very friendly and accommodating if you are a picky eater which I am. My favorites are the chicken philly cheese steak and the turkey breast with provolone which is a cold sandwich but I prefer it hot so the cheese is melted. Also on Wednesdays they have a special where you can get a free drink and chips with the purchase of a sandwich which is another reason this is one of my favorite sandwich places. read more

Let me begin by saying I LOVE JERSEY MIKE'S! By far the best subs around BUT this is the last time I go to this location! My first trip to this location was a couple months ago and the guy making sandwiches had hurt his right hand and was making sandwiches ONE HANDED! It was clearly a struggle. Plus he made sure everyone knew about it so all the customers could feel sorry for him. It was quite a ridiculous scene. He was really playing it up for everyone. On my second visit to this location, one-handed guy was still there but, luckily, his hand was on the mend. Today (1/3/18) I stopped in after dropping my husband off at the airport. It was probably around 2pm. Well past lunch rush so I figured it would be a quick stop in. Wrong. The girl taking orders was either currently sick or recovering from sickness?? She had virtually no voice so you could barely hear her. Saw her go towards the back and cough into her sleeve! It was VERY obvious that she DID NOT want to be at work today. She was visibly frustrated and her attitude was horrible!!! She started putting toppings on my sandwich before completing the order for the poor guy in line before me. I checked out before him because they were still working on his last sandwich. I think the delay with him was because even though there was a line of customers she decided to clean the meat slicing machine! I had a # 8 and after Miss Grouchy finished sloppily throwing my toppings on my sandwich I had to remind her that the # 8 comes with mayo and bacon. Got a big eye roll from her for that one! At that point I told her if she didn't want to be at work today she should have stayed home because her bad attitude was obvious to every customer in the store. Got another dirty look for that comment. Wish the employees were wearing name tags so I could report her name. Guess there's a reason they DON'T want their names known!
