I worked a lot of years of retail, but I was never rude, even when I hated my job I get that it's Covid craziness, but please don't embarrass people when they aren't familiar with the flow of your line...arrows on the floor might be helpful to indicate flow. But know what might be more helpful? Courteous employees who don't roll their eyes at you and refuse to acknowledge customer questions such as, "Is this where I order?" I came to get a sandwich at 12:30 pm on 7/22. These young ladies apparently were never taught customer service. They were rude and disrespectful. I was not familiar with their new layout, with the signage or when to pay and the employees were too busy talking to each other to assist. The girl at the register was way too busy with her phone to do anything except make snide remarks. No hello or how are you? When I said I wasn't familiar with their new layout, she rolled her eyes and pointed at the small, order here sign. The only one who even uttered more than 2 words was the girl who brought my sandwich at the end. She made eye contact, thanked me for my purchase and wished me a good day. I'd love to tell you who that was, but no one had name tags. With the behavior of the others, I can see why! Ordered the #18 chicken Parmesan with bacon. I like sauce but holy tits! I didn't need 3-4 full scoops of it in my damn sandwich. I couldn't even hold my bread it was so soaked. Chicken was skimped as f***, and adding more sauce on top of it to hide the rip-off just made it worse. I'm never coming back here again, worse experience in my life for my first time. The first time I EVER go to jersey mikes with my daughter and dog in my arms and I'm completely modified. Embarrassed to the max!!! I was standing in line for 15mins and as I'm ready to order the man that was right about to take my order yells "that dog can't be in here". There was NO sign on the door that stated no pets allowed!!!!! Knowing there is a pet store a couple doors down you would think they would have common sense to have a sign. My dog wasn't barking, moving, or bothering anyone. My daughter who is 5 got scared because of how loud he yelled it at us. Extremely unprofessional employees, I took my business else where. Jersey Mikes is nothing short of exceptional customer service! The food quality is consistent and delicious. I live in the area, and eat here quite often. I've seen the franchise owner in the store many times; a man who cares about his business. I don't understand other reviews that claim this location is dirty, as a loyal customer I have NEVER seen the store in such a condition. It's actually an insult to compare the food and service of Jersey mikes to subway! I think the price is fair for how filling and satisfying their sandwiches are. I love this sandwich shop! Employees are always with a smile on their face and always remember my name and order. Tables sometimes have crumbs but it's always busy in their so, it's understandable. Two employees in particular are so nice and make my order just the way I'm craving it! I wish I knew their names but she has blonde hair with blonde tips and the other is short, skinny and has a huge smile! My order is the Club Sub, Mikes Way with Mayo and bacon! Yum!!!!! Because of "new ownership" they allege they can't make simple substitutions anymore (like all roast beef on the #9). Ridiculous. Every other Jersey Mikes will happily make the substitution. Ironically enough, I came on here to leave a message about my own expirence and realized that the women above and I came in the same time. What she's describing and what I personally experienced and witnessed don't quite add up. My experience was the employees were in the middle of a rush hour and were doing their best to make sure everyone was greeted and helped. When the employee started helping this lady she was pretty rude towards the employees working and they were, quite frankly, just doing their job. Personally, I wasn't disappointed in the service at all. Even with the large amount of Sandwiches that the employees were making, I still left with my order made exactly the way I wanted it. If we're being completely honest, this location is better then the other locations that I've been to and I will be coming back with my family. All and all, these employees never fail to give me great service every time I come in. I think all the last yelper needed was patience. read more

Jersey Mike's now offer Gluten free, its says it on a sign posted on the window. I went in after standing in line for 15min, (no kidding) almost walked out. I ordered a Tuna Sub on Gluten Free bread, well the girl who took my ordered ask me personal questions if I had Celiac disorder I didn't know what to say as she took me by surprise, maybe she never heard of HIPPA I told her I prefer it on that bread since you are advertising, she gave me the most disgusted look like she had to take it from her personal stash! These people are like robots in there I understand they have to focus when on the slicer machine,but when I say no tomatoes I mean it! she finely heard me after i bellowed it out. I was going to leave but had a friend with me and didn't want to embarrass her by leaving, but she also noticed the server asking me why I needed Gluten Free bread, am thinking its expensive to make and they only give it to people who bring their Medical Reports, or maybe I should hand them my insurance card and maybe they take PPO insurance!!! We come to this area frequently as we keep a boat nearby. We received a $2 off coupon in the mail and decided to try this location. The coupon was quickly denied, it was apparently for another nearby franchised location. (noted in the ever so small fine print) Let me get this straight, you did not pay for the advertising, we were new potential customers coming through your door and you irritated us over a lousy $2 coupon. Why not provide excellent customer service, honor the $2 coupon and have us return as loyal customers. Ironically, the girl who denied our coupon reached into the display case and helped herself to 2 cookies on her way out after her shift was over. I doubt the owner is in support of that practice. All the tables were dirty, no clean place to sit, employee's standing around, poor customer service. Nothing good about this experience. Also, left a message on your Facebook page which you quickly deleted leaving only positive messages. Deleting customer feedback without addressing it will not fix the problems but perpetuate a downward spiral for Jersey Mikes. read more

I went to this jersey in Oxnard and had to leave right away. The floors were wet, the place smelled like weed so bad, and the old bald headed manager just sat around staring at his employees a while they served food in that mess. WHAT A TOTAL SHAME. None the less I still wanted my sub. I placed my order online. I ordered a number 9 mikes way but when I got there after a 20 minute drive my club was just being prepared as I showed up because the very stoned employee stated so after I asked if it was done. I wasn't to pleased at this point but I still decided to wait! I was watching the sub be made, and noticed that there was in fact raw meat stored next to cook meat on the same shelf! Contamination violation! Ew! I asked if the bacon should be stored next to raw uncooked meat. Of the course the employee had no idea what he was doing NOR did any of the employees working have a Food handlers cert. this was honestly the last straw because the employee said he had been serving the meat all day although it was cross contaminated. I was over it I told them to keep the sandwich. Then the management attacked me as I tried leaving the restaurant. He attempted to grab my wallet before I walked out! Screaming "Come back here you idiot customer" OMG the nerve of this ass!!! Not also does he not care if his restaurant smells and operates like hell, but he will openly rush customers for a sandwich that isn't legal to serve LOL. What a joke. I used to come to this location a lot because I work a few minutes away. I love Jersey Mike's in general, but the manager of this store has a bad attitude. I'm a manager myself and have years of experience with customer service and registers. Months ago I had went to purchase my sandwich, I handed the girl at the register my debit card. My card has a chip, and I noticed that when swiping it on my side it never works, but it does work on the cashiers side. The manager was upset and argued with me about my card "just not working" I was so red and frustrated. He ended up swiping it on his and, and said again "your card does not work", and then the receipt started printing out lol. "The customer is always right." I never went to the location again. No other manager at the other locations ever gave me troubles about swiping my card on their end. I recently decided to go back to this location hoping he was not going to be there and he was. I was not in the mood for another confrontation with this man. The girl at the register swiped my card on her side with no problem, the manager saw and pulled her aside to talk to her. I don't understand what the big deal is, and how is it my fault that they do not have their chip reader up to date? Now I definitely will never return to the store. RUDE. I came here yesterday with my bf and asked for a Grilled Veggie wrap. The girl must have been new because she did not grill anything. I asked her "isn't it supposed to be grilled?" The lady next to her quickly chimed in telling me that I need to request it. Um hello? It's says GRILLED on the name. Anyway, that lady took over and "grilled" the veggies (they turned out barely grilled). Then she hastily rang me up without asking if I wanted a drink or anything else. She even reached over and angrily tapped the card reader to press "no tip". As if I was going to tip anyway. Then she got even angrier when she realized I was paying for my bf's order as well and proceeded to re-ring me again. All in all HORRIBLE employee. Btw she kept asking me how I wanted it and I told her multiple times that I wanted it just the way it came. I eat at this particular location quite a bit, and for the most part I'm always super happy with the service I receive. I'm vegetarian, and every time I order a veggie sub, they immediately start cleaning off the meat slicer for me, without even waiting for me to ask them to! I've also overheard them asking customers if they have an allergy or if it's just a preference when they order the gluten free bread, so that they can sanitize the area if it is an allergy, and as someone who at one point was diagnosed (falsely as it turns out) with celiac disease, I would have loved having this option back when I spent a year or two going gluten free! The only reason I knocked one star off of the review, is that at another location I used to eat at years ago, as soon as I ordered the veggie sub, they would pass word down along the whole assembly line so that everyone would change their gloves and wipe off all of the surfaces. I've noticed at this particular location that sometimes the girl who is putting the vegetables on the subs rests her hands on top of the meat on the sandwich she is preparing when she asks them what they want for toppings, and then proceeds to stick her hands into the vegetable containers... Obviously getting some cross contamination there, and I would love to see this one little issue corrected. Otherwise, they do an excellent job here! read more
