Picked up 3 sandwiches today for lunch for family. It has been over a few years since last visited the location. The place was clean and very appealing to the eye inside. I ordered for pickup. I live 10 minutes away and left as soon as I hit send. When I arrived my order was ready and waiting. Great service. The staff were cheerful and very friendly. What more can you ask for or expect. My family and I came in at 8:40 pm on a week night recently and were serviced by 3 very young girls who were working the closing shift. Right when the time turned 9 pm, they blasted very inappropriate music full of curse words without any regard for guests who were finishing a meal in their store. It was SO loud that we could not hear each other speak to one another. It was really awkward to stay there to finish the sandwiches. It was an average sandwich preparation/order taking experience and one of the worst in store eating experiences: disrespect, disregard, no customer service, and lack of any care. We love the rosemary bread option here. We always get without Mikes sauce (or way?) because it tends to make them too wet by the time we bring them home. Never have a issue coming here, extremely upset and disappointed in our sandwich tonight. They should just go ahead and throw out all of their gluten free bread, it is stale/ old. Stopped by today for a quick sandwich from JMS on 1608 Town Ctr Blvd. Place was hopping with hungry characters, must have been the after church brunch crowd. The help behind the counter kept it really cool for the customers which was nice to see, plus the cute, young woman who received my order was able to keep the anxiety to a dull roar. I've only been to this location twice so far and the food has always been exactly what I ordered. Service is always on point. Store was actually being cleaned the last time I was there, so nothing to complain about there. Food service industry employees don't get enough credit for what they do. BEST SUB HANDS DOWN! I got the Italian regular size. The amount of meat they give you is just amazing. I got lettuce, extra tomatoes, oil extra vinegar, pickles and banana peppers and that's all it needed. Sucks they don't have coke products. Revised: Still five stars. Just left this Jersey Mike's. I normally like their sandwiches but today, I was pretty putt off by my experience. The employees wear gloves, but the first kid who took the orders (glasses, hat, with sweat all over his face) made a fist with his right hand and coughed right into it. He then proceeded to cut the deli meat and handle (touch) all the sandwich bread for the next employee in the assembly line. Also, when writing down an order on top of the deli fridge, your hands and pen always seem to go near your mouths when speaking. A note to management: Please train your staff to be mindful of cleanliness and sanitary practices when handling food, regardless of how busy it gets. read more

Guy cutting meat was too worried about guy writing orders to worry about his employee adding the toppings and the cashier that both did not know what sandwich was what. Guy taking our order did not explain himself properly as far as what and how we can alter on the sandwich. We ordered sandwiches last night. One sandwich had three ingredients on it when there should have been seven on It. It had tomatoes, shredded lettuce and cheese in it. No dressing at all. I've been tempted to come to jerseys subs and I am glad my cousin made me! Their meats are fresh and they are sliced as you order. The veggies they add look fresh especially the lettuce. They have cold and hot subs and wraps so they have plenty of choices. They are fast putting the cold subs together, but the hot ones take a bit longer. The wait is worth it my cousin ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious. The one I ordered had turkey and roast beef and my mouth is watering as I type this. This jersey mikes is TERRIBLE. They are completely understaffed and you can't help but feel bad because clearly it is not their fault. The online orders are so stacked up, and we just waited in line for 45 minutes to get a sandwich. It's not very clean either, the work station was a disaster. On top of it when they made my sandwich they stacked so much lettuce and toppings on it it toppled over and everything went all over the counter. It was then thrown back together quickly and wrapped back up. I told my husband I hated this location and always beg him to take the extra 5 minutes to drive to the I-35 one. They closed everything down early, so when we went back hoping they could remake them, the employees had already put everything away. If the staff were less concerned with leaving work as quick as they can, our sandwiches could have been remade or even possibly not messed up at all. Stopped by to grab dinner for the family after work today- I was the only customer in line, ordered 3 subs to go and 3 bags of chips...after this point the wheels sort of fell off- a few more customers came in after me- and the workers were SO disorganized, a few employees were walking around lost and were not at all sure what they were doing- the customer's sub ordered after my subs got put in the middle of my order- and that confused things. I ordered 3 bags of chips and was only charged for one- so when I grabbed my chips to go in the bag after I had paid $32, I then had to pay again because of their screw up. I was never told sorry or Thank you- nothing.... These employees really need to be trained on efficiency and providing good customer service. This establishment is usually pretty busy pre-covid19. The food is delicious. The prices are rather high but there are usually $2.00 off coupons floating around. When ordering it "Mikes Way" make sure you ask for the employees to take it light on the oils they sprinkle your sandwich with. If not, your sandwich will be drowned in the oils causing the buns to become very soggy as well as drowning out the flavor of your sandwich. read more

Expect to spend a few extra minutes in line compared to lesser sub shops because they slice everything fresh and are great about customizing. That said, I'm totally pissed about the fountain drink choices! They no longer offer Dr. Pepper as a choice... Only pepsi beverages and the generic root beer garbage they chose as a replacement for DP. I know it's an out-of-state franchise, but if you are going to do business in Texas, you NEED to provide Dr. Pepper (and Coke) as an option. At the very least, offer it in bottles. read more
