My son has this and loved it. It looked so good! But sadly I am allergic to corn so wasn't able to have any. I did taste the spicy sauce and it was so good! Slight sweetness with a kick! Took a bit to realize this was a food truck next to the coffee shop and as long as you order from the coffee shop you can bring your food in.

Fridays food truck experience brought us to Spicy Boys Fried Chicken. We bought a variety of different things. I had the OG sandwich which I enjoyed except for the slaw or pickles or whatever it was on it. Also had the OG nuggets, also very good. The tingly tots which I loved, the pic is of the non-spicy tots that my husband ate! The spicy pickles which were very good! My husband had the Tingly Sandwich and nuggets, he enjoyed it except again for the slaw. He said the only downside was it wasn't spicy enough. The food truck is located in the parking lot and there's plenty of outdoor seating nearby and plenty of parking.

Tingly Sichuan w/spicy ranch Tots, classic Nuggets w/chili honey & Thai Basil ranch & the 5 pc. Fried chicken! This place is really good!

Still having great, tasteful memories of this food truck even though weeks have passed since the prior visit. Everything is served up hit and tasty as "All-get-out".

Glad to have a location closer to our part of town! I had been wanting to try Spicy Boys for a long time and glad we had the opportunity! We ordered one of each sandwich to try them. The tingky gai had a predominantly chili oil flavor. The chicken was fried and then there was the chili oil on top. So it was a little too greasy for my liking. The Hot Gai had a lot of mayo sauce on it. I liked it better than the tingly gai. The OG had a balance with papaya salad on top. Glad we tried it.

As a Spicy Boys fanatic who lives north, I was SO excited to see Pflugerville got one! Seriously growing up in Pville the great food options are very limited, so this was a huge win for the area. My go-to is the bone-in fried chicken. 5 pieces is a lot, so it is nice having leftovers I look forward to that still are A1. Tater tots with tingly sichuan is a must-have side. I am a pickle lover - but the spicy pickles were just not something my pallet loved sadly. I do however like the banana pudding, but some of my friends did not. It is definitely not your traditonal style due to the crunchy sesame, but I like the uniqueness they bring. Now open one in Manor and the people will forever be grateful!

F**ing WOW 5 star !!!!! The GOAT.. I tried them ALL, and I mean all. I saved spicy boys for last because everyone kept saying it was the best and original. I didn't want to love them more than all the rest, but now we too understand. LOL I may well be a zombie for this place. We ordered the FRIED CHICKEN (5PC),FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH HOT GAI and the tingly gal , CURRY & 2 ROTI, and SPICY PICKLES. Where do we even start. everything was amazing. My wife was literally drinking the sauce that came with the ROTI. If there was a 55gallon drum of it she would not be able to stop. The Hot Gai was perfect amount of spicy, not so much it kills you, but enough to remind you you are still alive!!! The 5 piece of perfection pushed me into a small coma and after a few hours of heavenly napping, we split the tingly Gal and a movie. The funny part was how we missed the movie because we were so happy just talking about the food. She kept saying the spicy pickles would be a mainstay in the house if they would sell it by the gallon. Look I tried the ALL and now we know why Spicy Boys Chicken is the GOAT and OG. When I was there the pick ups were steady, I see why this little secret is expanding! people love it, and now I know why. The twisted bastard that perfected the recipes has captured our hearts and loyalty. F**ing perfection!!! It is all over for the competitors after 3 years of trying everyone else in the city, we must have Spicy Boys!! Now it is a regular affair to get an order and settle in for a movie and long nap. Start here, do not save it for last!

I've been waiting to try this place for awhile and OMG it's amazing. Several locations and everything was loaded with amazing flavors and dipping sauces. It's a must if you want something different and delicious

I had lunch here around 11:20 a.m. I ordered the Hot Gai, Tingly Tots, and Roti with Panang Curry. The sandwich was pretty big, which was nice. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors were great. I think it could be a bit spicier, though. The tots were nice and crispy. The sauce was a great addition to them. The roti was fresh and the curry was on a sweeter side than I'm used to. If I was eating this dish alone, it might have been too sweet for my taste. Overall, the food was great and the customer service was great. The location is next to a climbing gym, which is cool. There are multiple outdoor table seating options for everyone. The tables are spread out so some have shade and some don't, but they all have an umbrella beside the small circle table. There are multiple parking spots around the area, so parking shouldn't be a problem.

A huge fan of their Metric location, so super excited to see one open up closer to home. Their truck is located in the courtyard by Crux, and offers several picnic tables with umbrellas. Parking is plentiful and stress free. We did a pickup order for their 5pc bone-in fried chicken and their boneless nugs. Just like their Metric location, the fried chicken is tender and steaming hot. The skin is super crispy, and I'm addicted to their sweet chili honey sauce. The fried chicken pieces are large and fills you up. The boneless nugs are also tender and delicious. A lot of pieces as well. The guy working the truck is super nice and the whole ordering process was straightforward. Very happy to add another lunch spot to my rotation!

Amazing fried chicken sammich w/ some heat! I got the Hot Gai w/ regular tots, easily the best fried chicken I can remember. So glad that the gentleman that made it recommended it for me, such great service w/ a smile! There is a lot of outdoor seating available, and. Nice coffee shop next door (for washing your hands, because the sauce is a bit messy), make sure to support them, too! It was pretty windy when I stopped in, so I struggled a bit at my bench to keep the bag & napkins from flying off the table (and got a little sauce on my shirt when it dripped), but such a small price to pay for such a delicious lunch!

They make the wait time enjoyable by talking, smiling, and kidding around. We all broke out laughing when an older couple in their nineties walked right past me and took my seat at the counter. The pancakes are fluffy and the eggs are always done correctly. Although the food is quite delicious the service needs work. A manager seated at the food counter would solve some server errors. For example, "no arugula" was missed, no syrup was given for the pancakes, no water for the table, no water was offered, and a side of avocado was forgotten. These are server issues and maybe the cook didn't read the ticket correctly. This will not stop me from returning, but if they would like to increase the star rating, this needs to be corrected quickly. Lastly, adding sound wall panels will help with the loudness of the dining area.

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).

(2/10) Also, I was disappointed in the drink selection, no Old Style nor Goose Island to wash down the food for the full authentic experience. Loved the decor. Surprised they had little foot traffic for how good this place is. Service was mid. I will definitely consider coming back again.

Okay Cuban Food in Pflugerville…read more Tropicana sets the standard for Cuban food in this town. I have not been to Havana on South Congress in years. Back in the day, Havana impressed as well. What about Chicho's? It won't thrill you. It won't kill you. * * * a) The menu at Chicho's is small. The menu at Tropicana is infinite. Chicho's is mostly a sandwich place. But they have some plates. Tropicana has everything. b) Servings at Chicho's are small. Small servings? At a Cuban restaurant? Yes - Miami has some Cuban restaurants with small servings too. But Cuban is where you often go when you are looking for some serious bellybusting. Havana Harry's is the model for ... your appetizer, your main course and your dessert are EACH as filling as a Thanksgiving Dinner. That is three Thanksgiving Dinners. The pork chop I got at Chicho's was cut thin. How thin was your pork chop, Samuel C? Funny you should ask, Yelp Reader. It was maybe a thickness of three on a delicatessen slicer. Probably closer to two. It was like eating a slice of ham out of an Oscar Mayer ham for little kids's lunch pack. It was nicely sauteed and had a sweet sauce. (Shades of the Oscar Mayer ham again). I ate my ration. There was an ice cream scoop's worth of congris. It was first rate congris ... the best thing on the plate. I was sad when my ice cream scoop's worth was gone. There were four maduros which counts as a legal but unimpressive serving. They were standard. There was a miniscoop of salad - but you know the salad you get as a side garnish in Mexican and Cuban restaurants. You don't eat it and it is no loss. * * * The other downside was the strawberry juice drink con leche. It was a standard industrialized strawberry pulp pack for drinks Which is par for the course when you order these things. Either something was funny with the strawberry pulp or something was wrong with the milk. 85 percent of the sips were okay. 15 percent were - wait a minute - something is wrong. The wrongness was inconsistent enough that I did not want to complain to management. But the more I reflect on it - the more I am sure I would not order another juice drink for a beverage. * * * Overall, my basic dishes were good enough that I could see eating there again if I happened to be in the neighborhood. But Pflugerville is full of amazing places ... And there is some great Yelp reviewing to be done in that town. And if I am hungering for Cuban ... there is always Tropicana. * * * Actually ... If I am hungering for Cuban ... There is always Miami. Eat at the best Cuban places in Miami And you will be so happy you will never want to eat again. Plus you will be so full it will be physically impossible for you to eat again. Ever. * * * No Cuban restaurant in Austin takes you to that extreme of happiness. But Tropicana does a good job of getting you 2/3 of the way there.
