I just left there at 7:45 in the evening, four people in line waiting. No sign up on the window, but apparently they were all out of bread. At least you can do is put a sign up so people don't wait in line that you're out of bread. read more

I will never spend another penny at this rip off place! When we have paid for extra meat and cheese on giants, they never have anything extra put on when we pay for it but of course they charge for it. So we went to buying regulars. The last one I got did have extra ham and cheese, so tonight I ordered with extra meat and cheese. Guess what? No extra. In fact, for the cost it was a sad pitiful joke of a sandwich and I am sick of being ripped off- so they can keep their overpriced crappy sandwiches and rip off others, but they're not getting another penny out of me. One time out of four they did as ordered. The rest of the time they pocketed the extra. That many times is not a 'mistake', its a manager telling their employees to go light. I have been coming here for years to get their sandwiches. The manager Dave is a great manger. He will do his best to accommodate the customers. I could pick up sandwiches at a closer location to my house, but it is worth the extra drive to get one here. Great work Dave keep it up. read more

Ordered a 16 (chicken philly cheesesteak) from the Cornell Rd location on the west side - quality has gone down dramatically since I went there last (several months ago). The inside of the sandwich didn't look like a classic chiken philly at all - no cheese, all dark meat, and there was some tangy sauce added that tasted very sour. Second time in one week order messed up. Last Saturday, ordered Philly, no green pepper/no onion add jalapeño. So steak, cheese and jalapeño Called mgr as received (mushroom pep and onion sandwich) no meat in a Philly. Very nice, said name and that we could return and get a new one last week. (We had to throw away #1 as no one likes mushrooms sandwich here. So returned tonight, ordered in person, guy wrote it down, steak, cheese, jalapeño and chipotle mayo- on white bread. Recvd wrong bread, no jalapeño, no chipotle mayo. Soooooo at least he could eat this one, but after writing order down, apologizing nicely, but then messing up again! He wouldn't really let me watch, said it would be a while, but my goodness- just make the right stupid sandwich. read more

Really rude and impatient staff, especially some of the young woman working there. The crew there lacks any diversity (guess that's good if you prefer strictly white ). My teenager gives this place a 5 because the meatball sub covered with cheese and added bacon was " bomb". The kid wouldn't unclench the thing from the hungry paws ( claws) to let me try a bite so I cannot tell you if that is true or not. It was inhaled. I give it a 3 because my Buffalo chicken wrap was really wet, did not have my added bacon that I paid for, their order ahead application has no cash at pickup option you have to use a card to order, they have no avocado or cucumbers available, and I think it is a little expensive for what you get. I think the drinks are expensive too. That said, the place was clean, parking is good, they have decent options, there is ok seating, and the chicken in my sandwich was surprisingly good. It was roasted not breaded chunks of white meat chicken breast. The tomatoes were really nice. And the hot sauce/blue cheese sauce ( while too much) was tasty. My kid wants to return. Me? hmm. As a person from New Jersey, I have a high standard for subs. While I have never been to Jersey Mike's when I was in New Jersey, I thought this place is like other sub sandwich places and not so good, I was so wrong. Their subs are great!!! I even go to Jersey Mike's when I'm in New Jersey. Now Jersey Mike's is our go to place when I need a sub fix!!! AND I drive 6.4 miles to pick one up and it is totally worth the drive. This is my first time going to this location. I waited in line for half an hour holding my toddler, finally got up to the front. I only ordered two sandwiches. I requested my sandwich "mikes way" but no tomatoes and add pickles. I had to repeat myself three times because the guy could not remember what I said. I heard him tell another employee while he was working on the sandwich that he only got three hours of sleep. When I got home I was disappointed to discover that there were only pickles on the sandwich - not "mikes way". This Jersey Mike's review has two sides: the Giant sub's meat/onions which were ample and that same sub's supplemental portobello mushrooms ($2.99 extra) which were non-existent! I ate half at lunch and did not see many slices of mushroom. At dinner I removed all the substance from the remaining half sandwich. There were no portobello mushrooms in with the sliced beef at all. In fact I separated my he meat, onion, jalapeños and mushrooms from the sandwich bread. There were only three small slices of non-portobello mushrooms. What did I pay $2.99 for? read more

o I used to work at a jersey mikes and I put in my dues in the service industry. But when I walked in last night at 8:50 I didn't think nothing of it since I was going to get two quick sandos. I've been to this location a few times and it's been good. But I got a rude look from the young woman incharge last night no one acknowledged me or said hey we will be with you soon. The young lady was slamming the slicing machine loudly and was being loud with the grill spatulas while cooking some subs, I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted. So I'll definitely not be going back to this location again. She definitely needs to learn customer service. My first visit here, and as a vegetarian I'll say I was pleased there was at least ONE sandwich. But what impressed me more was when I ordered, they asked me if I wanted them to change their gloves AND they sliced the cheese separate from the meat-slicing machine, AND they used a clean knife to cut my sandwich. All of these things made me super happy, that there was some consideration and they thought about it. Also this location offers gluten free buns (but at a whopping $2 extra - holy crap). I get the charging more, but I'm pretty positive that Udi's rolls aren't being supplied at a premium. So while I would normally give 5 stars for the consideration for a vegetarian - I had to subtract one for the high price for gluten-free bread, and only having one sandwich option. Really happy with this location. This is the second time I order from this particular location, and I have a pretty severe onion allergy. When I told the gal making my sandwich about my allergy she very happily switched her gloves, cleaned the cutting board, and put paper down for my sandwich. She even removed the onion container from the area and got a clean knife to cut my sandwich. She was the only one that handled my sandwich and handed it to me as soon as she wrapped it. My friend that was with me said they did the same last time but the manager had everyone switch their gloves. We agreed they really go above and beyond and take allergies seriously. Other sub places have given me attitude just for asking them to switch their gloves. I know its tedious and slows the process but I truly appreciate the extra care. Thank you Jersey Mikes! read more

This is for the location on Cornell Road in Portland, Oregon. I went there after work to grab sandwiches for my family who live quite a bit away. They first could not got any sandwhich order right. They were messing up all the condiments: adding mayo when I didn't ask for it, forgetting bacon, forgetting mustard, adding tomato when I didn't ask for it. It was a mess and took forever to get the order right. When I paid for it, apparently I got charged for my 4 sandwiches but they only put 3 of them in the bag. I didn't realize and drove two hours away. Once I got home, I tried calling them multiple times and just kept getting forwarded and not able to reach anyway after trying multiple times for quite awhile. I am always pleased with this Jersey Mike's location. In the last two months, I have brought my son here during the weekday lunch rush. I am always impressed with the pace the employees churn out orders. Seriously, the back counter is packed with bags ready for the to-go orders and these guys are moving super fast. At my last visit, I witnessed a very rude customer who couldn't believe he had to wait ten minutes for his food. When they looked at his receipt, it turned out he had shown up an hour early for his order. The employees handled his rudeness quite well. I hope they know the rest of us on here are quite pleased with their service. read more

I went in today and ordered a sandwich for my wife. At least twice while ordering I said, "Nothing but meat and bread". When I picked up I asked if the sandwich had only meat and bread. I was assured it was the way I ordered it. My wife hates cheese. I got the sandwich home, you guessed it cheese. I took the sandwich back and they gave me my money back and a card for a sub later. This new Jersey Mike's is well placed with convenient parking. Their menu offers hot and cold subs. I picked up a Chicken Parm and Beef Cheesesteak on this particular rainy evening and was not dissappointed. Hot sandwiches take a bit more time but I think it's worth the wait. The ingredients and flavors were on point for both sandwiches. I think the regular size ~8 inches is a good size given the price of $7-9 per sub. You have a choice of white or wheat bread. 4 stars for cleanliness, prompt service, satisfying taste and portion size. read more
