I never tried Jersey Mike's until I moved to Ridgefield. At least, not that I can remember. It is truly "a sub above." (I think that's their motto.) My favorite sandwich is roast beef and provolone on rosemary parmesan bread. It is so amazing! I also love the turkey and provolone made Mike's way. Jersey Mike's might be more expensive than Subway and the like, but the quality is so much higher that it's worth it. The subs have an authentic deli taste rather than a fast food taste. If somehow you haven't done so already, give it a go! read more

Hello all! I am writing this review very disappointed. I went in to my local Jersey Mikes yesterday night (8/25/20). To be treated must rudely by the older gentleman slicing the meat. He made me feel very unwelcome and was quite rude and short with me. I have always loved this location everyone here is so nice and I feel it's a shame that this employee is treating customers in such a way. Luckily the two teenagers he was with were very nice and respectful, they nearly made up for the adults rude behavior. Go figure. One of my favorite lunch spots whenever I want a quick pick up. Items are fresh and the team are friendly to engage with. Tip: Considering ordering via online, that way you can walk-in and "skip the line" to pick up and go. It gets jammed at lunch and this is a major time saver. read more

Went here recently and must say the guy working was personable, friendly, and very enthusiastic. Id give him 5 stars! But with regard to the sub- one is paying for an overated name in my opinion. Cleaner location than another Ive been in. Second visit to franchise overall. Bread is fair at best. Meat off the slicer is a plus. Size for price is expensive. Im not feeling the same counter board sandwich after sandwich as little portion toppings fall off. Not especially generous. Average portions at best. Many other places for a top notch sub that is less money. $9. No drink or chips is ridiculous for a regular sub. No rush to return. Convenient and good in a pinch I suppose. Great subs or heroes or wedges or grinders or whatever you call them in your neck of the woods. This is my favorite go to for Italian style sandwiches. I'm always tempted to go with something like a reuben or a philly cheese but always end up with my good ole #8. There is no wait staff, it's your typical fast food go to the counter and order type of place but don't even try and compare this to S-Way. Rounding up from a 3.5 Having been a deli-man myself a while back, I am always on the lookout for a good Italian combo and this place has one! Not as thick as some of your local Italian deli's but a step (way) up from subway in terms of portions and flavor. Menu is a little limited but the options all look tasty. Cold cuts were of good quality, not quite Boars Head but better than most chain sandwich stops. The Ridgefield location is a little small but had lots of help, service was quick even though the meats were sliced fresh right on the counter. They also have 3 sizes which I thought was a nice touch since you don't always want a foot long! Worth a visit if you want a quick, fresh sandwich. read more

This means 5 stars for a sub place, not 5 star dining, just to be clear, LOL. The people are always super friendly, and the ingredients are sliced to order, not picked out of some tub they have been in for days. Sometimes the line gets a little hectic, with the sandwich maker asking 3 or 4 people at once what they want so she can make multiple sandwiches that might have the same meat. While it *might* save a second or two, its frustrating if YOU are the first person in line, and you are waiting for her to get other meats going for the people behind you. I think they should make one sub at at time, frankly. But its a great place. read more

Above average location compared to others I have been to. Sandwiches are pretty uniform across stores. Portions are much bigger than their competitors, and the sandwiches come out pretty quick. The toppings are overly generous, and usually their service is great. The people at all Jersey Mikes seem to be much happier and friendly than most of their fast food stores. I can't imagine going to Subway ever again after coming here, but then I do struggle to justify coming here when I could go to Sandwedge down the road. For a chain restaurant Mikes was pretty good. I lived near Philadelphia for 59 years and Mikes uses the right ingredients for "Hoagies" and the classic"Philly Cheese Steak" with one major exception, ... the rolls. In Ridgefield the roll is called a wedge. In Philly the wedge roll I'd made from Semolina wheat flower; slightly, slightly crusted and baked on corn meal dusting. I haven't found a bakery North of Philly that knows how to make a Hoagie (wedge) roll. I'll definitely be back but I miss Philly. read more
