There is an extremely intense menu of sandwiches that they post digitally on the wall, this is very hard to read. Staff lacks understanding of substitutions and as a result this it took a long time to place an order. Staff was not attentive at all. First time customer at this location! Watch out when ordering online! Very disappointing experience with Bagel Man staff and online support. I accidentally placed an order at the wrong location and immediately called the restaurant to cancel--but no one answered. When the restaurant finally picked up, they refused a refund and claimed I didn't call in time, which is not true. When I asked for a manager, they hung up on me! I called right back and they would not answer the call so I left a message. This isn't about the money, t's about how poorly this was handled. This place was DELICIOUS. My boyfriend and I are in town for a wedding this weekend and this place was close to our hotel. We ordered online and our food was ready when we got there. My order was an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, which was perfect 10/10. My boyfriend got a bagel, egg, cheese with pepper& onions. It was also amazing. The side hashbrown was crispy and good. Greasy, but expected. The macadamian nut cold foam on my iced coffee was just perfect. The chocolate crossiant was just okay, nothing crazy. I make sure to stop by Bagelman every time I come up to see family in Brewster. My order is unoriginal (I would say classic). BEC on a plain bagel. Not toasted (it's never acceptable to toast an authentic NY Bagel). The bacon could have been a little crispier but still good. The staff hustle but aren't rude about it. I love it as it reminds me of home. It's know what you want; get in, get out, eat well. This isn't a fancy spot. What they do, they do well and don't invest a lot of fuss in decor or anything. They have Gabrielle's Black and White cookies which were thick and not dry at all. Also got a chocolate chip bagel with plain cream cheese. Where I live in FL there are very few places like this. My wife and have been coming here for many years. It is only 2 minutes down the street, so it's real easy to stop and pick up some bagels. But lately we have been going to the Bagelman on Padanaram road. Why would we go across town for the same bagels? Here is the thing, Bagelman on Padanaram road has much better bagels. They are fresher, softer and much more enjoyable. This morning we decided to stay local and retry Mill Plain rd Bagelman. What a mistake. We ordered online and picked up our order at 11am. The bagels were rock hard, overcooked and the worst we have ever had. Only a serrated knife would cut them. Why use a serrated knife? They were too hard to cut with a regular knife edge. I frequent all bagel man locations often their gift cards are my go to gift for almost everybody. Every time I visit the Mill plain Road store they can never sell me a gift card because there's not a manager there to issue it I have never had any of this issue at any other location, it's beyond frustrating. We get bagels from here almost every weekend (after finding a hair in a bagel we got at a nearby Dunkin!) and we're very pleased with the quality and the service. We always order ahead on the ChowNow app and by the time we drive to pick it up, it's ready in the area they have set aside for online orders. Quick and easy, contactless because it's already paid for and best of all, with the app/website they use, the restaurant isn't charged outrageous fees which I appreciate. I also got a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll one time and it was fine. The bagels are always fresh and they put a good amount of cream cheese on them but not so much that it's glooping off when you take a bite. Coffee is decent as well. As a longtime New Yorker, I didn't think I'd be writing a glowing review of a CT bagel shop, but here we are. I cannot emphasize enough how fresh and delicious the bagels are here. My family and I are here 2-4x per week, whether it is for a morning bacon-egg-and-cheese or an afternoon Turkey Club. Their coffee is also delicious and while I'm not a fan of coffee flavorings, they do offer seasonal rotations as well as classic flavors! The line moves quick, the staff are lovely, kind, and fast. You can also order ahead on their app, or via the website, to avoid waiting in line if you're like me and swing by on your way to work! They now have "Original Sunshine" bagels, as well as Brazilian pao de queijo (cheese bread, it is gluten free) for those who want gluten-free options. The store is clean and has ample seating room. been here 6-8 times over the last ten years. bagels are always hard as a rock. bacon flavored cream cheese is awful. tastes like crunchy grease. eggs, bacon and sausage are always overcooked. ordering/paying/picking up orders is kind of a clusterf@$k. count on them to get something small wrong with your order. Coldcut sandwiches are pretty good as long as you get it on bread someone else baked. good salads too but I like boring salads LOL read more

We almost get our bagels every weekend. they have a variety of cream cheese and bagels. They also have other selection for breakfast as well. My favourite one is olive cream cheese. It is extremely delicious for me. My other half is always order ahead and I don't have to wait for on the line the get our beagles. Not bad at all. Prices are actually really good. Bagels were fresh and good. This place gets busy but they do a good job getting everyone taken care of. We were in and out in about ten minutes. They offer sandwiches, pastries and of course bagels. I got a bacon, egg and cheese with cream cheese on a sesame seed bagel. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich although I ended up making quite the mess due to the cream cheese. The wife got steak, egg and cheese. The steak was tender but only had minimal flavor to it. Inside isn't very large so it filled up pretty quickly with people ordering and waiting for their orders. There's a little section of tables inside where you can eat. Dining in is currently offered. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese online with a pickup item of 9:45am. I forgot to ask for it to be toasted so I went in at 9:30 to ask that. I had also ordered a breakfast sandwich. The worker (gray hair older man, possibly the owner) he mentioned he already made it and it was ready to go. That bothered me because did that mean my sandwiches were ready 15 mins before the pick up time so that it could sit there and get gross? He made a big fuss about making me a toasted bagel with cream cheese. He was so rude about it I was embarrassed for him. I had also ordered iced coffees and he was trying to kick me out of there before giving them to me. He yelled "someone get this girl two iced coffeees!!!!" And walked away. Service was quick and all food was presented hot and ready to go. bagels were hot and fresh. Bacon was crispy, and the turkey breast was grilled just right with the eggs and cheese. Above Average Excellent bagels, just like they "should be". Chewy-ish throughout, but more so on the outside. Most bagels are like bread in the SHAPE of a bagel...not these! These are the real deal! I had the veggie cream cheese which was flavourful and rich in flavor. Pricing is also reasonable. We had 2 bagels with cream cheese and a coffee for $6...not bad.
