Today my walk-in to Dine in was one that doesn't happen often. As I entered the Roanoke Rapids location across from Walmart the freshness of the toppings were in abundance to smell, cleanliness and clean tables, welcoming me to the start of having a Ham W/Provolone, hmm good. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food restaurant. Ordered online, sandwich wasn't ready because they 'didn't have wheat bread.' The guy said he called me numerous times (not true, and how did he have my number). They wouldn't make the sandwich, said they'd refund me and asked me to leave. They have franchised too fast. Great location! We arrived right before they closed and the line was long. To my surprise it went very fast and I had my two subs in no time. We are Jersey Mike's regulars and always get the same order - number 11 and number 13. Basically a Ham & salami and an Italian. Subs are always fresh. Bread is SOO good. My fiancé gets his sub mikes way and I like mine with just vinegar and Mayo. They made both perfectly. Employees were efficient and friendly. Yes, this location is smaller and has limited seating (indoor and outdoor). However. It is right off of I95 and in the same parking lot as a city owned clean dog park so it's super ideal for us to stop at and grab subs and eat outside while our pup runs around! read more

I love Jersey Mikes and am a loyal consumer. We were traveling and I was excited to see this as an option for food on the interstate. Arrived at 8:40. The location closes at 9. They told us the grill was closed and they were no longer making hot sandwiches. Worker was actively cleaning the grill for the night and staff was working on putting up condiments. I can understand if we showed up at 8:55, but 20 minutes before closing? I've worked in the restaurant industry and this would not be acceptable at the places I've worked. Staff made us feel unwelcome and like we were putting them out. I asked if we could eat in the restaurant and she said "we close at 9." At this point it was around 8:45. I told her I understood but wasn't sure if we had time to eat a quick sub or they would kick us out at 9. My husband said we would just eat in the car. The trash can was overflowing and the bathroom had no paper towels or toilet paper. We ordered 2 sandwiches and waited over 30 minutes for our hot sub to be ready. When you notice that there is a low amount of Gluten-Free bread left thawed out, remove more from the freezer. Don't wait for one piece left. This seems like a simple concept to me, but what do I know. This was my only food option for miles on a long trip, and the lack of the prominently advertised gluten free bread because the last loaf of it was snatched out from under me while on line by a mobile order is incredibly unkind and lacks forethought. I just visited Jersey Mikes and it was 7:28 pm and they close at 9 pm. I was told that they only had a half of a wheat loaf and they were not baking any more bread. The counter tops were nasty, the meat slicer nasty and the vegetables looked as though they had been setting out all day. For the price of the food the costumers deserve better service. Was really excited to see Jersey Mike's opened in Roanoke Rapids. I was a steady customer while living in Raleigh. I got there today and was underwhelmed to say the least. The music was beyond nightclub load. I could not communicate with the person trying to take my order, that continued down the line trying to say what I wanted on my order. Traveling down I-95 on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and stopped in for lunch around 12:15/12:30. Dining room was full, bathrooms were clean, and they were busy with travelers. Took forever to get a steak and cheese sub which is a 6inch and priced at $10 and it wasn't Even good after a 20 minute wait.

They failed to answer the phone I called 30+ times. Trying to get a refund for the order that my dad stopped by twice to get and it was not ready at either time. The order was placed at 12:15 and was supposed to be ready at 12:45 it is now 1:40pm and the order was still not ready. I wanted to cancel/refund and they told my dad I needed to cancel on the app. Low and behold you cannot cancel on the app and on your website it says call to cancel. Tell me why they couldnt cancel it on their end when it's in their system? no worries corporate has been informed. I'm sure they'd love to hear how their employees got an attitude with my dad after he checked back twice for my sandwich he waited an hour + for and have ignored paying customers calls when I know they heard the phone ringing multiple times. Staff working on a to go order. Not very efficient at it. So we waited with no chairs while they made several other sandwiches. No pepper for sandwiches! Stopped here during a short road trip because we love Jersey Mike's. They were really busy with a catering order but worked quickly and we didn't have to wait too long. The manager made sure everything was done correctly and when there was a little break he was out cleaning the dining area and checking on the customers. I went to this Jersey Mike's Wednesday about 4:20pm April 28 2021 I meant to order the chipotle chicken Philly but I ordered the steak and the manager Nate had just put the meat on the grill and I asked him was it chicken and he didn't respond to me but the nice people at the front which where his coworkers said it was steak and I told them I apologize I wanted chicken extra meat with rosemary bread, bacon, sweet peppers, onions, portabella mushrooms, oregano and extra chipotle mayonnaise on the side with provolone cheese! The manger Nate rolled his eyes at me and never said it's fine or ok but the other workers did! Nate needs to work on his customer service I've never felt so uncomfortable I really didn't want him fixing my food after I saw his nasty attitude and persona and I had to ask the girl at the front for his name cause he didn't have a name tag on and they said for some year if I'm not mistaken they said 5 years. Two women at the front lack customer service. After we paid for a large order I opened a bottle drink not knowing it wasn't included in the combo and instead of letting me continue to drink the drink she would rather throw it away. So we paid the two dollars for the drink and then she goes to say oh yea it's cheese on that sub you didn't pay for cheese.. well that's not my fault ! That's clearly what the order was so now for a third time I'm suppose to swipe my card. It's principle ! You rather have .80 or a good customer service experience.
