CDI is one of those funky joints that puts the cheese of the chili cheese dog under chili. Does it matter? Probably not...but also...maybe? On the way out, the cakes on the counter were calling my name. I got a slice of yellow cake with chocolate icing and ate it that night in my hotel. Delightful! I'd definitely return to Community Drive-In and sample some of their other menu items.

We I arrived we had two separate tables & had to squeeze in together to sit together. This would have been helpful to know when making the reservation. Overall food was a 4 out of ten. The highlight of our meal were the rolls and fries. The rolls were delicious and fresh. However, a few people in the party ordered chicken tenders and fries and they were almost black. When respectfully sent back they came back a light golden brown. Order I ordered their grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.
