I came into Jersey Mike's this past Friday and was having an extremely awful day but was immediately greeted by a smiling crew who seemed excited to help me with my sandwich. Bri and Phil were particularly helpful as I don't often come here. They explained the variety of sandwich options. He cut my turkey sandwich fresh and Bri explained Mike's way on a sandwich for me and also added mayo and jalapeños. Thank you Jersey Mike's for making an amazing sub and my day! This is a review for just this location only, and not the chain. Whenever I have gone here, I have always walked away without a sandwich. The line is either too long or took too much time. They have to learn that if they have a crowd waiting, they should be quick and move the line along, not chit-chatting with each customer. I was the second person in line and they still didn't get to me in 10 minutes. I walked out and went to Von's next door. Now, the location up on Copper Hill is a totally different story. But, the bottom-line is the sandwiches are way OVERPRICED for the amount of meat you receive. How can someone compare the sandwiches made here to a deli sandwich from an Italian deli? Sandwiches from an Italian deli puts sandwiches made at any Jersey Mike's to shame. NO COMPARISON! read more

The food at jersey mikes is always excellent. You get real deli style thin slices of meat, along with some good veggies and bread, sounds like just another sandwich but I believe the ingredients they use are far superior to the processed garbage used by subway. Just be aware you'll pay a dollar or two more than subway too but if u can deal with that its very much worth it - superior food and its not even close. The place is very popular too so if you come in at noon prepare for a bit of a wait. Worth it though. read more

Sent the grand daughter in with list. Her account is that she was treated like a kid. Too many questions for her. Even though she had a specific list. Sense was take less attentive detail from a teen store was empty when she arrived. End results were two sands totally wrong. Two others lacked correct details. As the Grandparent I would expect that this was an opportunity not a problem. Shame on your staff and managers. Too many young people with inadequate skills, exposure to real life experience. Had my first Jersey Mike's ever last weekend and let me tell you, I was hooked after the first bite. I will never go to the other place (S) again... I ordered the Turkey on Italian with easy mayo, mustard and vinegar and it was AMAZING. I am trying to eat low carb during the week and let me tell you, I can NOT wait for Saturday so I can go back and try another sandwich. Think the next one is going to be the Roast Beef... yum. Really hate to leave poor review because the sandwiches are actually very good. I've been a regular customer at this location for about 2 years. However this trip is probably my last. Absolutely awful and I mean awful customer service. To the point where not only my family was insulted but the two customers behind me even said the your lady helping us was beyond rude. I ordered 3 sandwiches. Had my daughter with me, I was asked which bread I wanted for the first and I said parmesan, literally one second later ( mind you the bread hadn't even been pulled off the rack) I corrected it and said white. I long verbal ugh was thrown at me. I said " I'm sorry" trying to remember my kids orders. I ordered 2 #7's and a #3 no cheese on the three. When we got to the toppings there was cheese on the 3. I politely asked to have the cheese removed. Ugh girl who at the time was making another guys sandwich yells, not exaggerating yells SIR IF YOU DON'T WANT CHEESE THEN YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW WHEN I AM MAKING IT. All three customers looked at ourselves like what? I said " I did say no cheese.to which she yelled No you didn't. I the responded with 100% I did. She argued with me again. Like look just take the cheese off. I asked the new young lady now helping me if customers are always lectured this way. She kindly and graciously apologized, said I'm sorry she's like that. Worst of all the guy ordering behind me asked for a sandwich, he said it's my first time here so what breads to you have. Same rude girls says to him " you don't know what bread you want"? I get it. Your all young workers, probably first jobs. But really, treating customers with respect should be a given. As much as I hate this I will not be going to this location again. Don't need to be berated while spending $40 dollars, and then asked to be tipped when paying. I am not a creature of habit but I don't mind coming here every Tuesday for double points and awesome subs. I don't know if I have a favorite sub per say but I do have a favorite topping and that's the red relish, I like it Mike's way with tons of relish. The roast beef is their signature it's good roast beef, not the best I've ever had but it is damn good. I do caution you if your not a heavy eater and I do mean HEAVY be wary of the large. I have on occasion strayed and gone the route of a wrap and they are pretty good I enjoy the buffalo chicken wrap although they are not as good as their subs they do get the job done. It's just subs, but the folks who work here make it a place to which I will gladly return. We actually visited because both our kiddies got reading awards at school, and attached were two coupons for free kids' meals. It was a good way to get us in the door, because although this place opened some time ago I've never visited. But now that they've got me through the door I'm a definite fan. Used to be a good location, but they have hired a bunch of people who if you want your sandwich the way they want to make it, great. If you want it YOUR way, screw you! Twice in one week I ordered a Philly Cheese steak with no onions, twice it came with a bunch of onions on it How hard is it to NOT add onions?? I complained after the first one. The district manager made sure my next one was free, and I verified with THREE employees that it was no onions, and they decided to put them on anyway. Not sure if it's stupidity or just rude arrogance. At any rate, better to find another JM's, this one is infested with incompetence. read more

Walked in the Thursday night to get a late dinner, approximately 30 minutes before closing time. When I went inside, I was not greeted nor payed attention to. One female employee was sitting in the kitchen doorway on her phone, another holding a broom and hovering at a table his friends were at chatting with them, and the other two in front of the grill talking. I waited patiently at the counter not be helped or any of them noticing me. One of the friends that was there with the employee, called the name of the one in front of the grill, me thinking she was going to get his attention for me. Yet instead, she asked him a personal question and with me standing there he looked at me and proceeded to answer her. Then, after answering he went ahead and asked "how can I help you". They were very unwelcoming and only cared about their own time probably due to the fact that they were teenagers. read more

They either run out of the ingredients so you can't order what you want, or they can't get the order right. Well check this out I was very impressed, this little shop a staff of what I saw 3 young women. I walked in to Jersey Mikes a bit upset I had a long day at work on my feet and I did not eat all day. I saw these young ladies working hard and quick. I was very impressed by there smiles and by there well just being so darn nice great customer service. I ordered and the young lady who made it just did a phenomenal job. Thumbs up to these girls Cydney Arrianah and Jerica. They did a better job at customer service then a whole staff of about 20 over at Red Robin. I strongly recommend this place Kudos to the Manger for showing them how to treat there customers. Not sure where all the hype about this place is coming from? It's just an overpriced, barley mediocre sub shop. I've had a few subs from there but the one that sticks out is the Philly Cheese Steak... It was terrible, we didn't even finish and went straight to in-n-out to satisfy our hunger. read more

The young man who took our order was very helpful and responsive, but he told us to go to the front of the line. I guess he knew what we didn't which was you have to pay for hot subs before they start to make them. So we go to the front, but a woman is paying and the cashier and the assistant are running around looking for cups and a cookie. Once they are done with her the guy who was having his cold subs jumps in front of me to pay even though I am sure he heard the previous attendant tell us to go to the front. I know the cashier or his assistant who was wrapping up the subs saw us and didn't ring us up at the other register. I then find out after paying the sandwiches haven't been started at all. This is ridiculous, because they have a carbon copy of the receipt and two people are standing awaiting the return of the cashier with cups. So now I am standing at the restaurant for 5 more minutes awaiting the cooking of our giant size Big Kahuna's. The staff need to communicate better with one another when a hot sub order is placed so they know to get someone to start cooking. I love their Philly. It's always on point. The staff is always friendly, no 'tude, just good food.

As an ex employee and " sandwich artist" it's hard to make the perfect sandwich suitable for my exquisite taste buds, but tonight I had one of the best if not the best sandwiches. They were so polite and professional and this is what makes Jersey Mike's the greatest sandwich shop in Southern California. The sandwich was perfect , fresh bread , fresh veggies and even fresh bacon. It was spot on, almost as if I was behind slicing and making my own sandwich. Thank you so much. Yes, there are better sandwich shops out there and nothing beats some of the good ole fashioned mom and pop sub shops, but for a chain this place ranks high in my books. I started out ordering their Philly cheesesteaks which are especially good with mushrooms and peppers on it. I didn't stray from that for a while (and I didn't eat there very often) until this year when I received a free meal card for my birthday. I went in and it was a hot day so I wanted to get a cold sub. I decided to try their tuna sandwich and went all out and got it "Mike's Way" without onion. Normally I eat my subs completely dry, so it was kind of a stretch for me. "Mike's Way" is lettuce, tomato, (onions), oil & vinegar, and salt & pepper. BTW - the tuna has celery in it which I love for a little crunch! My sandwich was so incredibly delicious that I have started going into this Jersey Mike's much more regularly. The staff is always friendly and the owner is in there quite a bit - he seems to be very "hands-on." One of the employees in particular always remembers me and my order. The place is always clean including the bathrooms. There are 2 tv's in the dining area. They also do frequent fundraisers and had some pre-teen kid in there one day selling cupcakes which is apparently a business (he had business cards and a chef coat!) I will gladly return to Jersey Mike's even if I can get a mediocre $5 12" sandwich somewhere else. read more
