Nowhere compares to Subway's tuna sub. I do like the fact that they send my wife and I annual birthday coupons for a free meal or else I'd probably not even bother to eat here at all. I also have tasted some of their other choices (Turkey & Roast Beef) at seminars, where Jersey Mike's was the free meal for the evening and those sandwiches were always sub-par. My Wife and I grew up together in Torrance, and when we were in high school there was a take-out place called Geno's that we both loved. Now my wife thinks the italian sandwich here is as good as Geno's was. I'm not prepared to go that far, but after she mentioned it I could taste some similarity, and that was enough to make me happy. A busy restaurant is a good thing. It generally means the food is popular and is likely fresh, meaning ingredients haven't been sitting around all day. I hate nothing more than to walk into a place and the people behind the counter look like they're waiting for something to do. On this specific day, Mike's was incredibly busy but the line moved fast. The sandwiches are basic, nothing fancy (the way I like it) but tasty. The meats and cheeses are sliced fresh for your order and there are two choices of bread; wheat and white. I had the Classic Italian regular size on white (bread was very fresh) "Mikes Choice" of toppings (meaning preselected things like lettuce and such. Customize your order how u like) and my partner had the roast beef with just tomato, salt and mayo reg size. The regular size sandwich is a decent size and will be plenty for most folks. I could've probably ordered the mini size sandwich and would have been totally satisfied Lol. I was stuffed after eating the reg size. As far as I'm concerned, Mike's rates above a Subway cause their meats and cheeses are fresh sliced for your order unlike subway where everything is pre-portion. Mike's is about even with Togos as far as fresh ingredients. Don't get me started about Quiznos. I hate that place. This specific Mikes location was really busy but well kept and clean... Always a plus. Once again, this location is very busy so it helps to know what you want before you get to the counter to order. Check out their menu online. I stopped by the other day stood in line when I got up to the counter I told the lady what bread I wanted and as she is getting ready to cut my meat I looked over at my bread next to the meat slicer and their was a fly I just sitting on my bread I told the girl and she grabbed the bread and threw it away and then the fly was sitting on the side of the counter. I loved Jersey Mike's but since this I will never eat there again and a month to 3 months ago I went into the Jersey Mike's off Coperhill next to Albertsons and their was this fly sitting on the plexus glass in front of the condiments and the staff did not notice I just walked out. This store is the busiest store in the Santa Clarita valley. Yet. they find a way to make someone's experience a positive one indeed. Today, I ordered a sandwich and asked they not include any Mayo. I absolutely love Jersey Mikes but this location is either going down hill or was having a super bad day. First, they don't seem as clean as they use to be. The deli meat slicer was dirty and the employee didn't seem to care to clean it prior to making our sandwiches. They also didn't clean the meat slicer when they cut my cheese for my veggie sandwich right after the turkey for my sons sandwich. That's common sense! I am not a strict vegetarian but I am pregnant and not suppose to eat deli meat. So it would have been nice to see them take that extra step. As they were making the sandwiches I noticed they are no longer piling on the meat, veggies and lettuce. The meat, cheese and toppings were lack luster. My son's turkey sandwich had no turkey on a quarter of it and my veggies were basically non existent. When we got home and started eating I noticed how stale the bread was. It was crumbling in the tops with every bite. And the turkey on my sons sandwich looked far from fresh. I ended up sharing my veggie sandwich with him since the turkey looked so bad. So I basically spent $15 for sandwiches that were horrible. So disappointing, as we use to live this place. We will have to try another location to get our Jersey fix! read more

I was surprised to see this place was actually a small chain in the Santa Clarita Valley. I thought it was like a mom and pop deli but not quite. I was a little disappointed by the selection, or lack thereof. Out of habit, I got the hot pastrami and it did not disappoint! Very good but nothing extraordinary (as a pastrami connoisseur, I've had better - Final Score for one). Still would like to go back and try more on the menu. I've tried to support them during the pandemic, because they used to be awesome, but the last three times we've gone there, it's skimpy and very poorly made with almost no meat and never the way I asked to be. We ordered on delivery through their app, so we don't know until it gets here that it's wrong. The first time, I blamed it on supply chain. I know things have been rough. The second time, I said I won't go back. But, here I am, months later and the same thing. We did call, but the phone just rang. Well, today's the last time we'll be going to Jersey Mike's. I used my Shore points, but still paid extra for bacon and extra meat. Which is basically the cost of a whole sandwich. I even tipped 20% It was so poorly made and dry. Barely any meat whatsoever and the order was all wrong on BOTH sandwiches. We paid for extra and it was plain meat, lettuce and cheese. Guess we'll find a new sub place. read more

Don't come here expecting anything other than a regular sub. My brother and my cousin like to act like this place is God's gift to the sandwich lover. I am definitely a sandwich lover, but I don't get it. Freshly sliced meat? Not sure it makes a difference when it's pre-packaged, regular deli meat. My favorite chain sandwich shop in the SCV. Not only is the food good, but the ownership is top-notch. They really support and give back to the surrounding community. If the owner is there, he will say hello personally and make recommendations. It's a great place to grab lunch if you're by yourself because they also have TVs in the restaurant to keep you occupied while you eat. I love the Club, the Italian, and the Turkey and Provolone. And of course, I have to get it "Mike's Way." So good. And who can complain about the free bag of chips and 20oz drink with Yelp or Foursquare check-in? read more

The worst part of all, how do you go about charging $15 a sub? Dam, the prices went up so if your heading there expect your families bill to be well over $50. (2 subs, 2 kids meals chips and drinks) If you want a sub, go to subway... if you want to spend over 50 bucks for your family... Go to a sit down restaurant like La Cocina or Chilies where the server actually deserves a good tip. Phil & Zack were super friendly and made sure our sandwiches were made to perfection. It was hands down the BEST experience I've ever had.

They handed out coupons during remodeling. Beware they do not take the coupons anymore. I was handed a coupon put it in my wallet now that I have a day off of work I decided to get a sub ordered it the way Leicht stood in line which took about 15 minutes because there was an order of six subs before me and now they tell me that the coupon has an expiration date and they no longer honor it. It's not cool doing business when they're passing something out and they don't say hey don't forget to use it Before it expires it's only good for a week they should've been told to us by the kid on the corner that was handing them out when we went to order them for the whole family and they were closed. I think it's time to go back to SUBWAY® and get their foot longs for a better price and not having to pay $1395 for a large sub sandwich. I hope everybody noticed that they not only remodeled But they raise their prices also. Beware of the expiration date. My husband can make a mean samich, but when I can't talk him into making one, my go-to place is Jersey Mike's. Since Danny's Deli got bought out many moons ago, there really isn't very many places where you can get a good sandwich in SCValley. I'm not a fan of Subway or Quizno's. In fact, unless it's In-N-Out, you're SOL. I heard there's a new deli in Castaic, but too lazy to drive at 8pm with a chance that it might, more than likely, disappoint. Jersey Mike's subs are consistent. We always get a large Roast Beef, and a large Italian, both done Mike's way on whole wheat bread. We always have pepperoncini added to give it that extra zing. The lettuce is always fresh and crunchy. The herb seasoning and oil/vinegar concoction is very tasty, and the entire sandwich tastes clean. The two large sandwiches is just enough for 3 adults. But with our son out of town this month, we have extra for lunch tomorrow. If any of you know of a good sandwich place in SCV, please post! My daughter wanted a toasted cheese sandwich here because she thinks the bread tasted better than the competition. After a long wait, what she got was two pieces of cold bread with some slices of cheese that were not melted and had brown grill rash on them. I have been to several Jersey Mikes locations, but this location stood out to me. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. The staff was friendly and seemed like they actually enjoyed their job. We ordered a mini turkey and provolone and a kids meal. I had no problem using my Yelp check in offer for a free chips & drink and the cashier was very patient and sweet with my young kids. A manger was there at the time and went out of his way to make my daughter happy. There were cartoons on one of their tv's that my daughter immediately noticed. The manager pulled up a chair for her to sit on, so she could watch the cartoons while she waited for her brother and I to finish our lunch. He even offered her a cookie. I thought it was so sweet and I appreciated his kind gesture to help keep her entertained while I fed my younger son. Our sandwiches were delicious and all of the ingredients were fresh. This location was absolutely amazing all due to the attitude of Phil. He was so energetic, kind, and positive. My boyfriend and I live near a closer location but will be sure to head back to this one because of his wonderful spirit.
