Ever since I tried Jersey Mike's, it was my go-to place for a quick lunch. It also topped Subway 100%. The bread always tasted fresh to me, and i absolutely loved the way it complemented the taste of the actual good (turkey, provolone, tomatoes, a little bit of lettuce, onions, salt, pepper, and vinegar). However, I've had some experiences that I would request 'a little bit of vinegar', but still pretty much drowned my sandwich in vinegar which made my sandwich taste more like vinegar than an actual sandwich. This only happened about two-three times, so it wasn't all that bad. Asides that review, I had just heard from a friend that her mother witnessed the owner's daughter of this specific Jersey Mike's go to the homeless man that usually stands in the corner of the parking lot exit by Jersey Mike's yell at him and tell him to get a job. I believe it was the vet as well. Apparently, my friend's mother called the store to inform them of the daughter's behavior & they defended/denied that this ever happened. The daughter constantly kept harassing the man for turning away the business.. Just a heads up, people.. If this is the way the owner handled the situation with the daughter yelling at the homeless vet to get a job, then I believe it's something to handle with caution and consider who you are giving money to. Great service and always a quality sandwich! I arrived just before closing the other day. The "Open" sign was turned off and they were already cleaning the machines. I waved at the manager through the window and he kindly let me in. I thanked him and told him my girlfriend had a rough day and this was her favorite comfort food, and that going back empty-handed would've lost me a lot of brownie points. He said no problem and got to work making the sandwich right away. When it came time to check out, I asked him how much one of their delicious chocolate chip cookies cost. He said, "Because your girlfriend had a bad day, this one's on us." Go support Jersey Mike's! They're active in the community and make a damn fine sub! read more

I have gone to this location many times cause it's the easiest to go to when I am in town on my way home. I tell them what I want and super clear on it cause the person making my sandwich even repeats back hat I said. Mikes way and add Mayo and avocado, then all of a sudden I look at my sandwich and she adds PICKLES!! I asked if they had a new mikes way and she was like no then I asked her why the pickles were on it. She's like o I thought you said pickles ugh no cause you did hear me right. She was too busy talking to other employees to pay attention. Then I go to pay and it's a lot more then I have paid before she said they raised their prices. I was like ok but just paid then I had to stand and wait for my cup cause yet again too busy talking to other employees about their social lives. I've noticed these places are popping up all over LA. I always get the Italian (#13, I believe) with "light juice" -- a good mix of my favorite cold cuts (salami, ham, etc.) on fresh bread. Everything is ludicrously fresh, and if you're very hungry...they have some absurdly large sizes. If you're burnt out on Subway (as I am), you'll totally dig this change of pace. My only complaint is for some reason I don't like their hot subs--but that's ok, the #13 is the king of all sandwiches. read more

Called in an order for a turkey sandwich mikes way. Pretty simple. I show up 15 minutes later and the cashier ignores me till she takes everybody in the stores order. Even after a coworker gives her the hint to take care of me. After she finishes with the line she still ignores me. Idk if I resemble an ex boyfriend of hers or what. So I ask her if she's going to take care of me now. She says nothing and proceeds to ring the order. My usual tip since covid is 25%. Not today. 0% for the worst cashier I've ever encountered at Jersey Mike's, anywhere. Someone should explain to her the purpose and procedure for handling phone orders. Love the food. But hated the service today at 1:30. 1 star for her and 5 stars for the food. She owes the other workers 25% of my bill for the tip they lost as far as I'm concerned. read more

First and foremost let me say this, I love Jersey Mike's-the company is great, I come from New Jersey so the original location always has a home in my heart for the family tradition of getting Mike's before hitting the shore. That said, I will never go to this location (bouquet canyon center) again. It's Mother's Day, so I made sure to order about 20-25 minutes ahead of time through the app because I figured it would be busy-I walk in, not a single guest is inside, I ask about my order and see it n the counter half done. It'll be a few minutes to wait, sure no problem. The kid behind the counter proceeds to make five other subs from beginning to end before deciding to finish my half made order. But that isn't even why I'm leaving this review: two other employees named Mel and Megan are also working, but instead of working they are loudly bitching about having to work today, about "Brian switching shifts with another employee" about "dealing with this shit" on a sunday, how "Megan needs to be at vons at 2:30" And I mean this when I say it, you would think they didn't even know a customer was in the building with how loudly, blatantly and frankly shitty their behavior was. In fact at one point Mel walks over to my half done order, looks down at it, sniffs and walks away to continue bitching. Fast forward to getting to the beach and opening my sub in a tub: no lettuce, no oil or vinegar and this is the most pathetic I've ever seen this serving. Do yourself a favor, go to the Jersey Mike's on Magic Mountain the staff has always been lovely and they don't gip you on portions YOU PAY FOR. I'm willing to bet this is a privately owned location because this is the lowest standards of any jersey mikes I've ever been in. read more

Once again, so disappointed. I ordered on line and was very specific as to the EXTRA's I wanted which was onion. I guess if you state extra it means to the crew none. This is the 4th time now this has happened and I'm now done!!! I asked for extra oil and vinegar and can't seem to get that either. The owner is an amazing man and really goes above and beyond to grow these kids that work there to be their best. Sadly, they aren't listening and really doing the owner a huge disservice. Restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and quick - however my chicken parm sandwich was, um, not good. Chick meat was poor quality - stringy, chewy, and hard to take a bite out of. Didn't care for chunky tomato sauce. Fried coating on chicken was nothing but mush (this is essentially a microwaved product). Sandwich was HUGE!!! Here's an idea, maybe focus more on quality instead of quantity? I plan on going back to try a few of the cold sandwich options, but I have my doubts. Will report back. read more

I am a fan of Jersey Mike's in general because they give you a substantial sandwich and always know what you are going to get (for the most part) when you go there. I went to this location while I was away on business and it wasn't nearly as impressive as the one by my house. I ordered my weakness (philly cheesesteak) and usually it's oozing with cheese, peppers & lots of flavorful meat, but this time it was lacking all of the above, especially the tasty meat. I wasn't really sure what happened because the other two sandwiches we ordered were amazingly full and ready to satisfy the tummy, but mine didn't live up to the standards. I am especially bummed because the prices aren't really cheap/average in comparison to other places - so if I am going to pay more, it better be good. Other than that, my experience with the staff and restaurant overall was very welcoming, clean and presentable, as it should be. I will come back to Jersey Mike's again, but I'm not sure if this location is my cup of tea. read more

I have no complaints about this Jersey Mikes. There are always a lot of employees to serve you. They slice the meat fresh and have great flavor. If you order the steak and cheese sub everything is grilled up right then and there and it tastes amazing! The cleanliness of the store is great and they are always well stocked! Now I know why I stop going here. constantly the same problem with the employees, lack of communication not listening to the customer. Making a sandwich might be too hard for these children, there's never an adult in the room. The sandwiches are OK when they're made correctly. My order was nothing special I was very clear on my order and as they made it I had to keep correcting them. It's not rocket science it's basic customer service to listen. The person just wrecking the sandwich on the cutting board and having them redo it several times is very aggravating. Especially when there's a crew of eight standing around picking their nose. I can only guess that Jersey "Mike" has a severe case of the dry mouth. I asked for a roast beef sandwich "Mike's Way" (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices and "The Juice") and watched in amazement-slash-fascination-slash-horror as they zealously baptized my sandwich with an overly generous amount of oil and vinaigrette (see video). Handy Quickview Meat Chart: Togo's gives a good amount meat. Subway gives just a little more than none. Think salad in a bread bowl with a hint of meat. Jersey Mike's is right in the middle. Since then, I've been back a few times and have a few notes: the turkey, the roast beef, and the tuna sandwiches are pretty good - just say no to "The Juice" (unless you like your subs dripping wet). My favorite is Club Supreme (roast beef, turkey and bacon). You had me at bacon. I was really looking forward to the hot subs, but unfortunately, the Philly Cheese Steak was so cheesy that you only tasted cheese and the Pastrami had flavor but the flavor wasn't pastrami. read more

I went there twice to JM's in Santa Clarita area, including yesterday to this location, both experiences the same, feeling completely ripped off. I took the time to include a photo of their Famous Philly, which they desribe as "Even Philadelphians agree that our cheese steak is as good as it gets. Fresh grilled while you wait - never steamed or microwaved" Wow, what a rip off. Their photo shows a sandwich overflowing with "slices" of beef, "slices" of cheese, and veg. The real deal (see my photo), is that you can't even see the side of the bread broken by the knife cut (that side is shown in the photo and it looks like chipped beef was injected with no knife cuts, it's not only not overflowing, but not even visible), there is no slices of beef, its "**** on a shingle" quality chipped beef that's been dredged in some kind of "cheesy" sauce, no slices of cheese. This looks like it would sell at Costco for $1.50, but for 2 of these and a bag of chips it was $26 !!! Further, Costco wouldn't sell this dredge. What a complete crime. read more

Old lettuce, bread, etc. old meat slices lying around the slicer. Two of the staff were just sitting behind the counter talking; No wonder this place has a B in the window. Sad. Have been looking forward to getting a Jersey Mike's sub for a while! However, it wasn't at all as friendly and exciting as they claim it to be. Every one of the workers on the line (3 people total) were really rude. The first girl said "what do you want" when I said hello. She was banging the cheese, turkey and roast beef, she appeared angry. The middle guy making the sub put banana peppers instead of pickles and never put any mayo or bacon on the sandwich. If I wouldn't have asked for them, I'd had a dry sandwich with out bacon. I asked the cashier to add mayo and also asked if the bacon was extra. She said it was included in the price so I asked her to please put some on. With a big sigh, she added it. All three were very rude...drove quite a ways to get the sub....definitely NOT WORTH IT! This place needs some major intervention if they want to keep their customers!!! I could hear the guy behind me having trouble as well. Sorry I even bothered! Not good for business for sure! Let me just say that I'm giving the food itself 3 stars, but I'd give the staff 5 stars if at all possible. I stopped by Jersey Mike's for the first time on Sunday on my lunch break. The staff was comprised of mainly younger people, but they were all super helpful, polite, and knowledgeable about what options they were offering me. I ended up ordering a chicken cheese steak sandwich with a few changes to the usual toppings on the sandwich. The sandwich itself left a lot to be desired; though, I feel like this is partly because it was my first time there and I wasn't really sure what to order for myself. I won't say that I was completely turned off, because I'm going to return in the future to hopefully get something that's a little more up my alley, but I will say that for right now, I still prefer Subway over Jersey Mike's. read more

I am writing this as I sit outside in the parking lot after getting my sandwich, I came here this morning and was helped by a young woman who was possibly new but it wasn't obvious to me. There was someone in front of me who is being helped so she continued after cutting my meat putting the toppings on my sandwich,However she grabbed the wrong bread top, She realized her mistake, and quickly fixed it, no issue. I moved over to the register and she continued making what I believe we're on line orders. As I'm being rung up by another young lady, I am the last customer in there at this point. The employee who was helping the customer in front of me was now free and we had walked over to the woman at the cash register assisting me, I saw on her head and her name is Sabryna or however she spells it. Sabrina leaned over to the cashier and whispered into her ear, asking her if she had noticed the mistakes of the employee who had helped me, making the comment "this is the second time now", And they both giggle quietly. This bothers me for a couple reasons: First off, you have a customer standing right in front of you who can if not here see that you're whispering about something while one employee is supposed to be engaging with me. Second, this is a workplace. This isn't high school, you have absolutely no reason to be making fun and telling secrets about somebody regardless of what they're doing. If you notice someone on your team struggling you should help them not bash them especially right in front of a customer.If you have a problem with a co worker you take it to management. Third, what kind of person are you? In a world where bullying is so prevalent you as an adult are going to stand there and bully a coworker. Pathetic. You don't think she isn't conscious of the looks and laughs? Everyone has a first day at something, everyone needs to learn, and if you can't be a supportive aspect to that in your work environment you probably shouldn't be there SABRYNA! read more

I have had lunch at this location quite a few times prior to today. This visit today, we experienced a little bit of confusion and our order was delayed. We were just going to deal with it and not bring up our concerns to management but an employee named PHIL showed up and offered apologies and handed us complimentary vouchers for sandwiches for a future visit. We were sincerely surprised by the gesture and customer service skills he has. This type of employee should be acknowledged and Jersey Mikes should be honored they have an employee (not manager) stepping in and protecting the customer base like him. Before he identified himself as not a manager, I thought he was. Anyway, the food was okay. The store location refresh decor is nice but the space is so tight to get around when the line is long. We noticed there are only tables designed for two people which is odd since SCV is full of families....we had to grab two chairs from another table so the 4 of us were able to eat together. Not cheap either....$30 plus for a family of 4 (sub in a tub, reg sub and two kid meals). Not sure what I would give a higher review to- Firehouse Subs or Jersey Mike's(?). Both have issues in my opinion. Food quality might be better at Jersey overall as well as overall customer service. Firehouse might have a better menu and atmosphere. read more

I just bought a sub 08/22/21 at 2030 hours, and there was a person in front of me and the party in from of him paid with cash....the person at the register (who was also making the subs) took the money, gave back change and continued to make the person in front of me sandwich and mine. It was close to closing time and there was a party Behind me so I felt really bad telling her to change her gloves and to remake my sandwich because she had already touched it ....I don't know why I felt bad i was The one who was gonna eat it. I just had the worst experience at this store. I put in an app order for ASAP and got there about 15 minutes later and I told them I was there. The young lady at the register told me I was early and then they proceeded to help everyone in the store before they bothered to start my order, even though they already knew I was there. Literally everyone else was gone before they even started it. I could've gotten in line and had my food quicker. A friend of mine went through the whole line while I waited and when my friend asked me if I already ordered the employee said again that my order wasn't due until 12:59 (which would have been another 20 minutes). #1-Proper customer service is to simply tell the customer that you'll work on it not that the customer is at fault for being too early. #2-Good customer service is to tell me to get in line because it will be faster or to start my order since they know I'm standing there. #3-Good customer service would be to maybe have 2 people making line orders and 1 person making online orders. #4-Would be not to have attitude and get smirky toward the customer because of your bad service. #5-Would be to offer the customer something to make them overlook the crap service and hopefully come back. I heard another employee tell the girl at the register to throw some cookies in the bag. That was the only moment of smart customer service, I wish I had caught her name. Of course the girl at the register didn't do that, bad customer service and a lost customer. I've had bad experiences here before but not bad enough to review. This is however the last time I'll ever use this location. I hope the location on Copper Hill is owned by someone else because the Copper Hill location is much much better. read more

I spent 30$ today on two sandwiches at Jersey Mikes. I waited over 15 minutes even though it was a pre-order. I did not realize until was home that I had recieved the wrong sandwich. I was supposed to get a giant chicken with bacon and paid for extra avocado. As it turned out it was some sort of Philly cheesesteak - I opened the sandwich and all of the meat and inside had fell out. There was enough meat to make an extra 2 sandwiches. Out of being so hungry I ate a good size half of my sandwich. Within an hour I had the worst stomach ache. I felt very sick. I am pretty bummed as I've always liked Jersey Mikes but today was the worst. I would be happy if I could have a refund or a credit for a new one but I have to say I will not be going back or eating there again otherwise. So disappointed read more

I have been calling in orders to this location for the last several months because it's on my way home. In all the times I have ordered I have only had a mistake one time (wrong cheese which isn't a big deal)....until tonight. I called ahead like I usually do. I could tell they were busy and I was driving so I tried to be precise so there would be no mistakes especially because one of our sandwiches is a gluten and dairy allergy. After I hung up my roommate asked me to add a chipotle chicken sandwich. I called back, told the girl I was sorry to add another sandwich and I told her I couldn't remember the number but I needed a regular chipotle cheesesteak with CHICKEN, easy peppers, provolone instead of american, sauce on the side. Then I asked her to read it back to me because I was driving and they were busy so I wanted to make sure she had the order correct. She very snootily read back everything I said (I could tell she was annoyed that I would think she didn't write it down correctly)....even the CHICKEN part she read back!! I thanked her for getting it right and hung up. When I got there 15 min later I was told the chipotle sandwich was made wrong and it would be a little while because it was being made over (I didn't ask what was wrong with the first one, maybe I should have) and they had a lot of hot sandwiches ahead of my remake. Hmmmm....oookay?? I had no problem with that. I sat down and waited. Once that sandwich was done the girl who acted like she was the one in charge went to grab the rest of my order and decided the only bag on the shelf wasn't mine and someone must have given away my order to someone else, because the one on the shelf was a special order for the owner. The three girls bickered at each other as they looked around trying to find out what happened. During the bickering session I interjected and said maybe they should check the bag that was there cuz "maybe" it was mine. It turns out it WAS mine. Yahoo! We did the payment process, I paid the extra for the avocado and the gluten free bread and STILL gave them a $10 tip cuz it seemed they were having a bad night. This is the part where my anger level went from zero to one hundred....I got home and my #7 didn't have lettuce, no biggy, I have lettuce in the fridge. Then my roommate opens her chipotle cheesesteak with CHICKEN...and low and behold it's beef. So I call, to let them know of the mix up, not to get another sandwich, not for anything except to let them know that paying attention to the orders when they are busy would probably be a good idea because not everyone is like me and some people might not be able to eat beef or will come back to the store to get what they wanted in the first place. BUT before I could get any of that out as soon as I tell her who I am and that there was a mix up with the chipotle sandwich she proceeds to tell me it's my fault because I said I wanted the #43 when the chicken is the #42. I say no, I never used a number because I specifically said I couldn't remember the number and wanted the one with chicken...she then tells me AGAIN that I'm wrong and I said the #43. I tried to interject to say even if I had said #43 (which I KNOW I did not) she freakin read the order back to me and said CHICKEN but she wouldn't stop trying to tell me I was the one who ordered wrong and she didn't do anything wrong. I asked her if she was going to keep arguing with me or if she was going to let me talk? And she actually said no because she's the one who took the order and she remembers I said #43....she was clearly intent on persuading me to believe that I had ordered wrong, in the middle of her rant I decided not to listen anymore and I ended up hanging up on her. Now intent on calling the manager or owner tomorrow. Besides the fact that the order was wrong there were many MANY other things that could have been a problem for me and weren't. Not sure these girls understand the customer is always right (especially when they really ARE right). I am definitely changing locations from here on out, 10 extra minutes on my drive is worth it for people who know what customer service means. read more

I used to come here 1-2 times a week back when I thought "wheat" bread was actually "healthy"... Since I realized my order here is about as bad as getting pizza, I just started getting more pizza instead. That revelation aside, I still love the subs here. Everything I have tried is good, but I especially love their Philly Cheese Steak (number 17 on their menu, number 1 in my heart). It is in the top 5 of any sandwich I have ever tasted (and top 3 in California). I always order it as is, on wheat. "One giant 17 on whole wheat", is all I say and it comes out just the way I want it. You could add or subtract other ingredients, but I personally prefer it as advertised on their menu (steak, cheese, grilled onions, peppers) Their giant is bigger than Subway's footlong, but seems to have decreased in size over the years (still plenty to satisfy your average appetite). If you prefer wheat bread, and phone in your order, be sure to specify "whole wheat". When I used to call in a "giant 17 on wheat", half the time, it would be on white. By adding the word "whole" to my order, I eliminated the possibility of confusion. Probably the only time in my life that adding a whole to a request, was actually beneficial :) Service wise, they are great. With the exception of the occasional wheat/white mix up (which was partially my fault anyway), they always have my order ready to go as promised. The staff here is always friendly and professional, and definitely much better than any of the Subways I have been to. Overall, Jersey Mike's is the main reason I don't even go to Subway anymore. The food and service are much better here, and more than make up for the fact that it is a bit more expensive than Subway ($11.95 for a giant 17). I would recommend Jersey Mike's over Subway 10 times out of 10. read more

I went to this location after not being to Jersey Mike's in a very long time to redeem my free birthday meal (which is very generous!). The cashiers were handling the receipts with their gloves and then making the sandwiches and laying the receipts directly on the sandwiches! The oil from the sandwiches was making the paper and ink absorb into the sandwiches! It was the absolute grossest thing I've ever seen in a restaurant! I couldn't believe my eyes. I can't believe any sort of health inspector would allow that. I hate to be the guy who writes negative Yelp reviews but I hope I can help them realize how nasty that is and prevent a few people from eating some ink filled sandwiches. To top it off, I asked one of the workers to please not have the receipt make contact with the sandwich as I ordered it and she sort of passive aggressively shoved the receipt under my sandwich, so I had to ask them to please make another one without having a receipt touch it and it was very uncomfortable. Sorry I even tried, I go by there often and have seen some activity so thought I'd give it a whirl. Mistake. Ordered a Pastrami Reuben, was handed something the size and weight of an aluminum paper wrapped Costco Hot Dog. $8.15 or something near that! I put the .75 change in the tip jar...wish I had not. I don't like tip jars in general but I thought why not...I know why not, It was horrible. The damn thing was either steamed or microwaved I did not watch them make it. There was hardly any...actually, I never saw any sauer kraut on it but I psyched myself into thinking I could smell it. I didn't see much that represented cheese either just a little hot dog like roll, really really too steaming hot with identifiable Pastrami on it and I think thousand island dressing on it. It smelled like a hot dog, heavy garlic in the pastrami I guess. I would never venture back. That price was bad even if it had been a good sized/quality sandwich. I rate this as "moderate" in cost, though I think it is Expensive for a sandwich no matter how good, there is no atmosphere or table service just counter servers. A good sub shop. That is all it is. They serve good subs, their gimmick is that they cut the meat fresh when you order. Not sure I taste the difference I am sorry to say. If you order a sandwich "Mike's way" they pour oil and spices all over it. Anything tastes better coated in oil. Not sure who Mike is, but he must weigh 500 pounds. Thanks to my fellow yelper that forwarded me the great coupon. I ate here twice using it, though not sure I would go out of my way to go here again. read more

The best sub sandwiches in the valley! I had a number nine it's roast beef, bacon, and turkey! It was great, really tasty!!!
