So today I decided to order online for pickup. I got there 15 minutes earlier than I scheduled and checked in just to let them know. I was willing to wait until my pick up time but when my pick up time came and went another 20 minutes later, I went up to the thing and ask you know how much longer it was gonna be and the girl behind there got real snotty and said it's only 1240 and then she made me wait another 10 minutes while she was making the sandwich after they had already helped about 10 people that came in to pick up their orders before me. I saw them making the sandwiches for these people so I was the last one with my ticket hanging and she slapped my sandwich together so hastily with mayonnaise coming out both ends. When I thanked her, she gave me a dirty look for that kind of customer service. I'll spend my money at another sandwich place in Sierra Vista that has good customer service. Met my brother for an early lunch, just before 11:00, trying to beat the lunch rush. While we managed to beat the rush, my buffalo chicken wrap took entirely too long to prepare. The staff, particularly the grill guy, seemed a little disorganized. The good news is the staff was friendly and the wrap was decent, although it could have used a more robust, hotter buffalo sauce. Since it only recently opened, I'll chalk up the slow service to inexperience and I imagine it will get better so I plan to visit again ... and try a different wrap or sandwich. After the General Manager, Lawrence, reached out after my original review, I made a second trip with a coworker. She had the #11, which used to be the Stickball Special and I had the #13, The Original Italian. We both enjoyed our respective subs which provided healthy portions of meats, tasty vinegar and oil, and fresh bread. As on the the first visit, the staff was very friendly. Jersey's is a great place, it is my go to when I'm wanting a sub! Staff is always friendly. The hidden menu is a plus!

Although this place is a chain, it is fantastic (especially this locarion) for classic cold sandwiches and Philly-style sandwiches. This location has extremely courteous employees and they are speedy. I usually order the Chipotle Cheesesteak with extra cheese and it is just right. They typically use white bread as their go-to and it doesn't taste overly processed or "bready" (like Subway's breads). Check this place out if you want your go-to favorite sandwiches done right. FYI: I usually order online, since I don't have a lot of time to spend during my lunch break, and the food is always ready as soon as I walk in the door. It is also worth signing up for their "Shore Points" rewards because, realistically, once you eat here, you'll actually keep coming back. Doesn't take too long to get a free entree either. read more

I was given the wrong order last night, I ordered the big chicken kahuna cheesesteak but when i got home it was the kahuna cheesesteak. Well I got food poisoning from the sandwich I'm not sure if those kids in there making the food know what they are doing to be honest. I ate a kids meal here Saturday, 7/8/23, and to wait a long time. I asked for ham. The guy didn't even ask what kind of cheese I wanted, he just put some kind of white cheese on it. Then, for the "fresh" veggies I had onion. All they offer is tomato, onion, pickle and lettuce. The lettuce was orange tinted. I should have just said "no". I give this place a generous four stars. Honestly, considering that we are in SV, it should be five, because everywhere else sucks. That said, as a Philly native, I am well versed in what a good hoagie should have, number one being the bread...if your bread sucks, the rest of it will. The bread here isn't bad at all. Sure it isn't an Amoroso roll, but it still has a nice chew to it. The meats and cheeses are not bad and of course they have the requisite toppings (lettuce, onion, tomato, oil, vinegar, italian spices, etc). I got the classic Italian, which is my litmus test for hoagies. If a sandwich shop can't make one wrll, everything else is bound to stink. It was pretty good though, I will be back for sure. So I will never get to know what was on my sandwich. Jersey Mike's insurance went from saying it was an ammonia cleaner, then for them to call be back to retract their statement after speaking with my insurance company. I was told they aren't at fault and that what the insurance lady said she never said it was on my sub, just that it was a cleanerr in the store she was told they use for disinfectant. So the insurance lied, and now the case is closed. Only one of my sandwiches had this cleaner on it. I wanted answers, I wanted to ensure this never happened again. I want to know what I ate but I guess jersey Mike's does not care at all that someone in the store put a cleaner on one of my sandwiches, enough to send me to the er twice from one bite. I was sick for 14 days, and instead of just giving me a list of what I could eat. Jersey Mike's called their insurance company, got them involved, and because I can't get a lawyer to pursue it further, it does not matter. Jerseys Mikes has not followed up with me since the first phone call before they called their insurance. Eat here at your own risk. They do not care if your food is tampered with. One of those sub was from my 11 year old child. What if the substance was on his sub instead of mine and my husband's? No answers, no remorse, and no action taken. Since no one got seriously hurt, it doesn't matter. I'm disgusted. read more

To date, I have never gotten a Jersey Mike's Sub from the Sierra Vista store that wasn't fantastic! The biggest issue I have with this Jersey Mike's store, is deciding between the Beef or Chicken Big Kahunas!... or the #26 Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak! On Rosemary Parm Bread, with added grilled peppers and onions and Chipotle Mayo! "Aren't there other sandwich shops in Sierra Vista?" ABSOLUTELY! But the JM bun is so perfect taste and texture for what I want in a sandwich! Not so soft that it feels doughy when you bite into it, or dumps the filling (which I want a LOT OF!) if you pick it up wrong! Nor does the JM bun feel like you could use it for a "Black Jack on Saturday night"! When I bring friends or family to eat at Jersey Mike's, we can talk in a comfortable tone, the surrounding aren't too crowded or lou, and we can enjoy each other's company. Sorry folks! Always a disappointment at this place. I don't think the kids that work there really care whether they get your order correct or not. We asked for lettuce and tomato be added to a sandwich but the person making it didn't get the message and when we got home it was missing what we asked for. I ordered a tuna and they barely put any on it, but the lettuce was piled on to make it look bigger. Someone needs to teach these kids good customer service. read more

I had tried their agava vanilla cream soda. Not much of a fan for the drink. Worth a try at least. thought we would try jersey mikes tonight. heard lots of good things. well i ordered number 56 the big Kahana and my son ordered cold sandwich. first when I read the description of big Kahana it sounded good onions peppers steak cheese and a bit of jalapeño. was i disappointed there was so much jalapeño that I could hardly eat in every bite had a huge pepper in it and to me it was like they dumped the whole jar in the sandwich. needless to say I got ill from the jalapeños and my stomach won't stop hurting it would have been better without but I guess they like adding a ton of peppers. it will be a long time before I go . The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because of it being a new store and working out all the kinks. The food is really good, cheese steak being my favorite so far. The manager is awesome, if there are any issues I suggest you let him know, he will do his best to take care of it right away. Very busy but not a huge time between ordering and receiving food, could be faster but again it's a new store. They will get better. read more

The server "Esteban" consistently messed up orders in front and behind me in the 15 minutes I was there. I had to wait longer than I had to for my order, as did the lady behind me ( one of the orders he messed up!). I understand that we make mistakes, but he was also very rude. What I can imagine was his manager kept having to remind him how to do his job, and instead of listening he would complain and work slower. All I can say is I'm from Boston Massachusetts and I wanted what's known back east as a steak bomb and I asked them to make it for me, I had to let them know what ingredients goes into the sandwich, when it was done that sandwich had me closing my eyes, it felt like I went back in time to a mom and pop style sub shop from back in the day, that sandwich was absolutely the best steak bomb I've had since I was back east, the management is awesome, the staff are amazingly friendly, a definite five star rating because when it comes down to it, if you want a real honest to goodness great tasting as well as pleasingly filling sub their is no other place in town that comes close, my daughter has tried the coldcut subs and feels the same, it's amazing how they capture the true essence of what a great Submarine Sandwich is all about. I've been in for Subs here several times since they opened - and on all occasions I was delighted with the sandwiches - until today! I noticed that the bread was different - significantly smaller (skinny) and the crust was crisp rather than chewy. The sandwiches were not what I expect from Jersey Mikes. Hopefully, this was an anomaly and not a permanent change. The ingredients were fine - good, lean roast beef on one sub and terrific Italian meats on the other.
