The staff is great. The food is good. The #13 Hoagy is the best this side of the Mississippi. On Friday I was getting several sandwiches for a crew. A contractor was there replacing a window. Then one takes a battery powered blower to blow the construction dirt out. The wind outside blew a lot of it back in over the the food prep area. WTH, where's a shop vac? Maybe contractors should be vetted for their work in "clean" areas such as kitchens, restaurants, or clinics. Anyway, I'll keep com'in back. Keep up the good work. read more

Ordered a sub with extra meat and cheese paid a lot for the add on and it was not done. Also asked for extra lettuce and tomato and that also was not done. The sandwich cost me over 25.00 not sure I will be returning. I feel ripped off! Called and the lady was nice enough to give me a refund so I'll be back they were nice about it. read more

Craving a good deli style sub? Jersey Mike's with their "Northeast-style" cold sub sandwiches is a great option. What's "Northeast-style" exactly? I see the term applied to everything from beer, bbq, pizza (pies) and even fashion...I guess it's just a regional thing. Whatever it is, Jersey Mike's subs are downright tasty. Unlike the competition where the meat & cheese are pre-sliced & hangin' out on the assembly line, Mike's are sliced to order when your Sammy is made. You can taste the difference in the quality. Even their produce is locally sourced where possible. I had the #7 Turkey and Provolone prepared Mike's Way (minus onions) with: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices. JM's says that the red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend is how their subs gets their "exquisite zing." Service was fast & friendly and the store was spotless. Youse should go to Mike's. I got 2 sandwiches here today. The #13 Italian was excellent as usual. The reason for the less than stellar review is for the other sandwich. I got the new roasted chicken. The chicken itself was a flavorless chunk of meat. The meat's texture and lack of flavor reminded me exactly of Subway except for the size of the chunks were larger. A few months ago Jersey Mike's did a promo with corned beef and Rubens. It was very good. Hope this roasted chicken goes away quick. Not good at all ! read more

I got this sub sandwich from DoorDash, because they, DoorDash, were having a sale, so I was able to get 50% off my order. The sub with all the fixings and without the tomatoes is very delicious, and the meats add a nice variety of flavor! It probably will not replace Subway in my mind (because of price), but this sub chain has quite a tasty sub! Finally tried this place on Mohawk in Springfield. They were not very busy and had lots of people helping behind the counter. It still took over 15 minutes to make 3 basic sandwiches-to-go. Bread is basic, meats are delicious and plenty of choices. Lettuce was a bit soggy, tomatoes tasteless. Overall better than Subway, IMO, but nothing stellar. Easy parking. read more

I went in here last Friday evening and immediately at the counter some "enthusiastic" kid who looked like he hated his job talked so fast I couldn't understand him. You need to welcome customers and not rush them...it only takes me a moment to look at the order but it takes a moment, I can't figure it out right as I get to the counter. Then the same kid came back with an attitude on his face and I said forget it... This place needs to work on their customer service skills. Great sandwiches, actually the best there is anywhere, but I'm never coming back to this location. The sandwiches here are hit and miss depending on who's working BUT...twice in the last 6 months I was unable to reach anyone by phone to make a order ahead. both times the staff told me the phone was unplugged. I only have a certain amount of time for lunch and when I can't call ahead it makes it very tight on time. The wife and I stopped in for lunch while shopping in Eugene a few days back. Nothing to write home about. The wife had a mini classic sub which was very dry with very little meat on it. Mine was better, a regular size Cheesesteak. The bread was just the regular white and didn't have much flavor. It was made well though and tasted fine. The wife prefers Subway while I think they are about equal. Our local sub shop has better sandwiches, so I wasn't really impressed. Just 3 stars. read more

I love Jersey Mikes and I always order the #13 Original Italian, no lettuce (yuck), no oregano and no salt, add banana peppers and mayo. Long standing order (obviously). Though today (12/6/23) I ordered curbside from Springfield Mohawk location and the sandwich they brought out was not what I ordered. It had lettuce on it and no olive oil blend/red vinegar, just bland and not good. Jeneah (sp?) came out and remade my sandwich without hesitation, was kind and courteous.
