As someone with a gluten allergy, Jersey Mikes is normally one of the only fast-food places that actually cares about cross-contamination and taking preventative measures. I've never had ANY issues with service at any location or my allergy being such an inconvenience until today. The short brunette girl with piercings was actually so rude when I asked for gluten-free bread (had to repeat myself twice), she ROLLED her eyes at me multiple times and when I thanked her and apologized for the inconvenience of wiping everything down she did not say one word the rest of the interaction. I've never been made to feel this much of a problem before. I wish I didn't have an allergy, trust me. I genuinely hope she doesn't treat other people with restrictions like this. Would like to start by saying I have given this location multiple chances; every time is worse than before. Staff does not even acknowledge customers when they walk in (quite a few people working there but only one is actually making subs). Every time I place an online order the order has NEVER been ready on time even if there is absolutely nobody in the restaurant. Me and my friend went for brunch and this location wasn't busy at all. The food was so delicious better than subway because the food was fresh off the grill. The cheese perfectly melted, I personally would add more cheese and lettuce into my chipotle sandwich. The service was extremely nice and patient, made my whole experience a positive one. I go to ASU and I love jersey Mike's. This location is the only one that is close to campus, and unfortunately I consistently have issues with one of the staff members there. The shorter Hispanic woman with the pink earrings constantly gives me push back on everything that I order. Any time I want to substitute one meat for another, there is always, ALWAYS, an issue. I am a regular at Jersey mikes, and I have never ever had an issue substituting one meat for another. On top of that, this woman is just plain rude more than half of the time. Just unnecessarily sassy at simple requests. When I walk into this location, and i see that she is working, I genuinely get internally upset because I know I'm going to get push back on what I order and/or get an attitude back. Recently ordered Uber Eats and I wasn't the most impressed with my order. I ordered a club supreme and an original Italian. The club supreme was quite tasty and fresh tasting. The issue I had was with the original Italian. The meat tasted off and I only finished 1/4 of the sandwich. I have been into this location twice in the last ten days. Both times the employees manage to make both sandwiches wrong after I repeated the orders MULTIPLE times (literally 3-4 times). Ok I love Jersey Mikes in general but am now traumatized and will never eat there again after my most recent experience. I bought a chicken ceasar wrap, took a few bites then noticed what looked like a curly black pubic/facial hair INSIDE of the wrap (picture attached). I almost threw up but at the same time was super relieved I saw it before I took another bite! I get sick even looking at the photo now! I wanted so bad to drive back there or at least call to give them hell for ruining my appetite, but unfortunately I went in pretty late and by the time I got home and found the hair, they were closed.. there is NEVER an excuse for this sortt of hygiene malfunction to happen and I am pretty disappointed that it happened at Jesery Mikes because besides In N OUT and Starbucks there isn't a whole lot to eat across from where I live. I came here completely on accident. I wanted a sub, and as usual, Port of Subs was closed on a Sunday. (dam you port of subs!) I was driving around trying to find something to eat, and I came across this place I have never tried before. Its right off the 202 and Rural Road. Went inside and reviewed the menu, and thought I would place an order. The menu has a reasonable selection, but its not huge. Some wraps, subs, and thats about it. I ended up ordering the turkey and roast beef sub. I asked about the sizes, and thier sizing chart is so odd! Its like 5 inches, 8 inches or 15 inches. weird. I went for the 8 inch roast beef and turkey sub. I really liked the sub. It was tasty! YUM on the bread! I found it to be flavorful and delicous!!! But, I found this place to be EXPENSIVE! WTF $10.35 for the 15 inch sub, before tax? seriously? I dropped a few bucks on my 8 inch sub, but I guess the prices were higher then I would have liked to see. I agree with Andrea that I think this place is a little overpriced. I will say, the service was wonderful when i was there...but slow. Met up with a friend who is a stage 4 cancer survivor at Jersey Mike's during this pandemic and the current mask mandate in Tempe. To our horror, many customers did not wear masks! When my friend called back and spoke to manager Jessica later, she was rude to her- claiming she didn't have to enforce the mandate and didn't care if her customers didn't wear masks. Then she HUNG UP ON HER. Businesses have an obligation to keep their employees and customers safe- the fact that she failed to follow the city mandate, then rudely disregarded a cancer survivor who cared enough to call, tells me all I need to know about this location and Jessica. I will never visit this location again and we will continue to work with corporate to resolve this. read more

The slicer and counters are layered with bread crumbs and shaved meats! And don't get me started on the guy assembling the sandwiches. I have been here before, as well as the one in Glendale. It is almost as good as being home, minus the right chew/crunch to the bread. We East coasters know what I mean. But they pull off the rest. Horrible customer service, no professionalism with the Manager (female-blonde). First experience with this stores location, on a lunch break left me asking for a refund and not receiving the sandwich I specified light mustard. The manager made my sandwich as a courtesy for not following directions, mistaking a line of mustard for a lot of mustard. The remade sandwich still had an excess of mustard that I mentioned to her, which prompted her to use her finger to remove the access mustard from the bread. I was upset and demanded a refund, which is when she informed me she was unable to do so. As a restaurant owner I was highly disappointed in the lack of courtesy and no accountability displayed by this manager toward a customer. read more

This jersey mikes gets 5 stars for helping me figure out what the heck I wanted! I haven't been in a while and I found out the veggie "wrap" I get was no longer available. I was lost. They helped pick out the perfect bread (rosemary Parmesan), took the time to grill the veggies like I'm use to. AND THEN when I didn't understand what topping I wanted the beautiful man behind the counter just added what usually comes on the previous wrap to help me out.
