A quick food spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. You can order on a kiosk so you don't have much interaction with staff. There's bathrooms available and an assortment of drinks. I ordered the bacon avocado grilled cheese and it did not have any flavor. I tried the sweet potato fries and they were ok. Overall not bad just average.

The burgers were so good! They have a little pink in the middle if you have kids that are picky.. but the food was absolute perfection. We stopped here before stars on ice last week. It was are first time and it was a little busy. All the mobile counters to order were full but the guy working up front was very friendly and let us know he was available to take our order. Our food was fresh and came out in a fair amount of time and was delicious. I got a regular burger but my friend got a bbq one, I think I'll try that one next time.

"HOLY BEEP!" That was f*cking delicious!!!!!! As a Yelp Elite member always on the hunt for great eats, I was excited to check out The Melt, the new burger spot in Tempe. Wow, it did not disappoint--this place is legit delicious! I went with the Swiss & Shroom MeltBurger (mushroom burger) and customized it by swapping the Swiss for pepper jack cheese, adding ranch, and drizzling on that spicy buffalo sauce. Holy cow, it was a home run! The burger literally melted in my mouth, super juicy and packed with flavor--one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. The angus-wagyu blend shines through, and the toppings took it to another level. The ordering process was super simple and modern--I loved the big touchscreen kiosks that made customizing easy and quick. No hassle at all. They have some unique soda flavors I've never tried before, which was a fun surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. Bonus points: the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which always matters to me. This jumps straight to my #2 burger spot overall (Shake Shack is still king in my book, but The Melt is giving it a serious run for its money with that melty, juicy goodness). I'll definitely be back soon--highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Tempe. You won't regret it! 5 stars all the way.

Food was hot and fresh! Melted cheese on all the things. Burger was a good size. I mistakenly got the double expecting something much smaller. WRONG! That burger was huge! The Mac and cheese was good. My favorite was the cane sugar soda. So good!

I got the swiss n shroom burger and it was amazing! I dipped it in their ranch and it was even better! The service was great and the man working there was so sweet and gave us free cookies. There's lots of seating outside, perfect for big groups. Definitely coming back PS. they validate parking!

The three cheese classic melt is made with sharp cheddar, muenster & fontina. The sandwich bread is French bread. It is cheesy and full of flavor. It helps me feel satisfied and full. The melt burger has cheddar, jalapeño--pickle mix, and Melt sauce. I didn't think I could taste much of the Melt sauce to make it different from other hamburgers. I could taste more of the jalapeño and pickle mix. The staff was very friendly. Did a take out order over the phone. The restaurant is located on the corner of an intersection so it makes it easy to find. They have large glass windows so you can easily see inside. The Wall is basically two large panes of glass. This makes the restaurant seem more open and a larger space.

The Melt - ASU Tempe @ Novus Place Original Burger Melt more than 1/3 pound of Angus & Wagyu beef, chopped, grilled and filled with loads of melted cheddar, jalapeños (not too spicy), pickles and Melt sauce on a toasted, artisan bun. (cooked medium, pink & juicy. Good burger, size and taste. Swiss and Shroom Burger more than 1/3 pound of Angus & Wagyu beef, chopped, grilled and filled with loads of melted swiss, fresh spinach, grilled mushrooms, crispy onions & ranch (cooked medium, pink & juicy) is solid winner. Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries smothered in cheddar sauce, with crispy bacon and ranch sauce, is a solid choice, all condiments work well together. The warm Chocolate Chip Cookies are a winner The signage is a little confusing outside, there is a vertical sign on the corner, but the store front sign says " World's Meltiest Burger" This is a solid place for a burger

Great burgers, I got the mushroom swiss burger and it was really good, a little greasy but overall lots of flavor very juicy. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was pretty good, it wasn't anything crazy though. We also got this snickerdoodle shake which was really really good actually. Inside is nice, we came few days after opening and it was pretty quiet (we also went on a sunday at like 4pm). You order off a tablet and they bring out your food for you. Very casual but fun place for a nicer burger than fast food. A little over priced in my opinion, but nonetheless the food was good

Decided to try this new (to Arizona) place on a whim. So glad we did! There were several locations in California, and the reviews are great. And who doesn't live delicious, melty cheese! The menu has lots of cheesey things--burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, Mac and cheese, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes, and, of course, tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese. You order at the counter and are given a pager to let you know when you're order is ready. The gentleman (Nicholas, I think) at the counter was so friendly and helpfull. The dining room is pleasant, with exposed brick and both regular and high top tables. We ordered *Two Melt Burgers. You can dress it as you like--add lettuce, tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, and sauce. *Sicilian Chicken Sandwich--grilled chipped chicken, provelone, fontina, and grilled mushrooms on spicy garlic bread *Queso de Mayo--avocado, fresh jalapenos, smoked bacon, and pepper jack cheese on grilled artisan French bread *Garlic Parmesan Fries Everything was sooo good and so cheesy. The price wasn't bad, either. This could definitely become a regular thing for us!

Holy Moses lawd above I have seen the light and it's garlicky and cheesy. I was in the mood for comfort food tonight and not in the mood to go anywhere, so I did what I do as a millennial and searched good ol doordash for ideas. I came across The Melt and I've gotta say... I'm pretty sure this is the best thing I've tasted in YEARS. First, the sandwich: I ordered The Italian and added steak. The menu says the bread is "spicy garlic" and whoo boy, they are not kidding. The bread was absolutely *PACKED* with flavor. The steak was tender and thinly shaved, and the mushrooms were out. of. this. world. And the cheese blend? Chefs kiss. Next, the garlic Parmesan fries: just yes. All the yes. The fries were flavorful and crispy. I did need to add salt, but that is no biggie. As a picky fry eater, I was impressed. Finally, dessert: their snicker doodle malt. Think of your happiest childhood memory, and imagine being able to experience it again. That's what this malt was like. Just pure bliss. Absolutely hands down 100/10. Will I be back? Hell yes.

    Super cute interior!

I checked out The Melt this past weekend in the Tempe ASU campus area. I originally saw an ad for them on Instagram during their opening a few weeks back, forgot about it, and then happened to drive by while hungry -- so it felt meant to be. The restaurant itself is very clean, and if you're into outdoor seating they've got mister fans to keep things cool. We opted for indoors. Ordering is easy -- you can go to the counter or use one of their kiosks (we did the kiosk so we could browse without feeling rushed). I went for the MeltBurger (Angus & Wagyu beef, chopped, grilled, and packed with melted cheddar, jalapeños, pickles, and Melt sauce on a toasted artisan bun) plus sweet potato fries (hot, crispy Louisiana sweet potatoes with shaved parmesan). My god-sister ordered the Original Chicken Melt (all-natural grilled chicken breast, cheddar, tomato, lettuce, and Melt sauce on a toasted artisan bun). I also grabbed a strawberry lemonade that looked house-made with real strawberry bits -- super refreshing on a hot day. The burger sounded amazing on paper, but once I started eating it... I wasn't fully sold. Not bad, just maybe not the right burger choice for me, and I didn't make it through more than half. My god-sister said her chicken sandwich was good, so that's a plus. The sweet potato fries though? Chef's kiss. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and delicious. I'll never hate a good sweet potato fry! They've got plenty of other tempting options -- mac & cheese, salads, grilled cheese, patty melts -- so I might give them another shot to try something different next time. For now, it's a solid spot, but my meal was a bit hit-and-miss.

I've been to the Melt in Scottsdale and it was pretty good so I tried the one in Tempe. This is one of those places you order on a screen, then you take a pager and go grab your food from the counter when your pager goes off, and then clear your own table by taking everything tot the garbage when you're done. I never had to talk to a single person, but the machine still asks for a tip on the meal. This time I went with a spicy mission grilled chicken sandwich, but I should have stuck with the burgers. My chicken was tough and chewy and really salty. The fries were still pretty good though.

Been excited to come try The Melt that just opened recently in Tempe and it did not disappoint us! Great service, not sure if the guy at register was manager or owner but he was very welcoming and friendly, and patient with our big order as there was so many delicious options on the menu to pick from. Brand new place so everything is clean and perfectly set up, spacious too for indoor and outdoor dining! Definitely coming back, will try to order other stuff we haven't tried yet but can't promise... Swiss N Shroom MeltBurger BBQ Bacon MeltBurger Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries Sweet Potato Fries Italian Job Melted Grilled Cheese Egg-In-A-Hole Melted Grilled Cheese Melty Mac We even got treated with sample of warm out of the oven chocolate chip chunk cookies!

They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. A special thank you to Bailey, the Event Coordinator, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the event and the night of the dinner. The highlight was definitely the Rafter Room -- it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. The space had a great atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner and made the evening feel really special for our family and guests. Highly recommend The Social Hall for anyone looking to host a private event in Tempe.

If your kitchen can't handle a simple order in a reasonable amount of time, don't accept DoorDash orders in the first place. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of respect for customers' time. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no reason a two-item order should take longer than two hours. Accepting orders you clearly can't fulfill is misleading and incredibly unprofessional. I won't be ordering from Social Hall again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time either. Do better.

They're so good that we order them every visit. The pork soup dumplings are equally impressive. Each bite is filled with rich, savory broth and delicious pork, making them a must-try. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care. The service is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food consistently exceeds expectations. If you're a dumpling lover, do yourself a favor and order the chili dumplings and pork soup dumplings. We'll definitely be back for more!

The spicy is mild overall with a light chili spice on initial bite. It fades, so the dipping sauce was nice to have with it. The Xiao Long Bao were the winners of thee meal and would be why I go back. Easy to eat and tasty. I only wish the soup inside was a bit hotter. The Chicken Sheng Jian Bao was good, but the breading a little thicker than I personally like. This felt more like a dessert with the sesame bottom. Good taste, just heavy. Felt like we were rushed a bit and we're asked several times if we were done. There were empty tables, so that knocked it from the higher 3.5 side to the lower. Yelp is a flat star rating.

Classic Beef Chow Fun made with fresh homemade noodles. The result is a much softer and springy noodle that holds up better to wok frying.

We got the Chicken Tinga Nachos as an appetizer and it was a perfect amount for the 4 of us. I got a burger and it was pretty delish. One thing I will say is their sweet potato fries definitely do not taste fresh, I'd guess they are frozen/sysco but what else do ya expect nowadays? We got the s'mores pizookie for dessert and I really enjoyed it. It's baked to order so it takes a little bit but I thought it was worth it. And if that's not your thing, Menchies is right next door and always a treat. Tons of games and such and they even had trivia on the TV. Just a really great neighbourhood spot!
