My daughter and I came here last night, about 30 minutes before closing. There were two people and only three customers. The two ahead of us were helped and we didn't have to wait long at all. Even though we already ate dinner, we wanted a snack lol. The lady that helped us was really nice and thorough as to what we wanted on our sandwich. We ordered the number 8, my favorite number by the way! We got the Giant Club Sub which includes turkey, ham, Applewood smoked bacon, Provolone and mayo. We got it Mike's Way, but no onions since I am allergic to them. This sandwich was so good when my daughter and I split it when we got home! We also ordered 3 chocolate chips cookies. Incredibly slow. They have online orders that need to be filled and sometimes they have weirdly needy customers that require a lot of extra attention. The guy in front of me today took an obscenely long time to get his order in, needing further explanation or giving more instructions for each and every thing. I don't normally enjoy sandwiches, but if I do crave a sandwich it's gotta be a hot one. I absolutely love Rueben sandwiches and that is my go to when my husband wants to go to a deli/sandwich place. Haven't been in this JM's in forever and went today about noonish. There were 3 young females working. I looked at the menu and noticed a lot of the sandwiches that use to be served are no longer on the menu so I asked if they could make a Rueben sandwich. I got stared at like I was an alien with 5 heads. Then 1 of the females says "huh" so I repeat myself and again she stares and me and says "huh" so I repeat myself for a third time and the two gentleman in front of me say "a Rueben, she wants to know if you can make a Rueben!" One girl shakes her head no and the other one looks at me and says "we don't serve that kind of food here!" With a huge attitude And turns around. Umm you don't serve sandwiches in a sandwich shop lol umm ok.... The appropriate response would have been "I'm sorry, we don't have corned beef or saurkraut, therefore we can't make a Rueben." I would have been cool with that, but to be so ignorant and tell me "we don't serve that kind of food here" and stare at me like I'm an idiot....pfft. So, my husband trying to appease me says we can go somewhere else, but I told him no and I'd find something else to eat. I decided on a Philly cheesesteak and my husband got an Italian. He told the girl he wanted mayo and mustard on it, she asked him how he wanted it so he said "put mayo on one piece of bread and mustard on the other. She puts mayo on one piece and then another female comes over and just takes it upon herself to put the mustard on top of the mayo. My husband looks at the original girl and says "what's the point of asking me how I want it if you're just gonna do whatever you want anyway." She then gives him attitude and gets new bread to start over. Ultimately the sandwiches get made and as she's cutting my husband's sandwich she smashes the crap out of it!! What in the world?!? Why? Why was that necessary?! My husband was not happy and almost told her to keep both sandwiches however we paid and took the sandwiches to go because we couldn't deal with the attitudes of the workers. My fiance came into the store to pickup our order with the screenshot of our 2 sandwich order. They handed him a bag, we checked the bag and there was only one large sandwich that we didn't order. He went back in to let them know the order was incorrect and they started accusing him of stealing the sandwich and refused to give us our actual order. The girls refused to check the other bag sitting on the pickup counter as well. My fiance called me and I walked in to show my order receipt on the app and they arrogantly and disrespectfully continually called him a liar and their claiming he stole the sandwich and disregarded my evidence. They stood there in defiance refusing to even consider THEY had made the mistake and not giving us our food. They said if we want the other sandwich, we have to pay for a brand new ones after I already paid in the app. They said they'd call the general manager and we told them to do it. We wanted to speak to someone in charge, she called over cell phone but we did not speak to anyone. She starts to say people saw her make the sandwich and we could check the cameras, and we said yes, go check the cameras because the order is still WRONG. There was another unopened bag and we asked to verify if that was our correct order. Vanessa, the employee refused to check. The person who came in for his order went to the counter and got his bag, I kindly asked him to check for accuracy because they may have switched our orders. Sure enough, he had our bag and we had his with the wrong receipts printed on them. He was not belittled and treated as poorly as we were. She offered to make him a fresh sandwich in front of us too, but did not give us that same respect. Nothing was done to make the situation better. These rude employees were harassing us, trying to lie as if we did something wrong, and if that man didn't vouch for us- we wouldn't have received our order that we PAID for in advance. This is defamation and discriminatory behavior. Absolutely disgusted with the treatment at this jersey mikes. Never had such an awful experience and need to speak with corporate about this. Nothing was done to fix their mistake or make the situation better while we were there, just extremely unprofessional employees. This is not the first time orders were not prepared in time or correctly at this location, but this is the first time we've ever been wrongfully accused of stealing a pre-paid sandwich. When I arrived, only one employee was working (with several people waiting in line) while another was on break in the back. It also took them about 15 minutes to acknowledge and help me. Service is terrible and cleanliness is terrible. Let me explain why... Honestly the customer service could have been better. The manager was making rude faces at customers whenever they would make a request. It's obnoxiously obvious they are trying to make you seem like you're inconvenience to them. I had to remind them on 3 separate occasions to pack me a side of pickles and the employees had the audacity to come from the back room and use his gloves that I have no idea where it's been and pick up the pickles with his non-sterile gloves. On top of that, he drops the pickles on the table that was littered with bread crumbs. I asked him NICELY saying I wish he could pack me a new one because that one is contaminated. Waited some more. 3 other customers received their order before me. Finally! 25 minutes later I get my one sandwich. I had to ask again for the ranch on the side. They tell me, it's already on my sub. I ask for more anyway. She takes forever because she's talking to another member. When I receive said ranch, it's only filled 1/3 of the small cup. The bread is ALWAYS ON POINT. Tastes like it just came out of the oven. The meat? FRESH. Flavorful. Perfect amount. The cheese? FRESH. Tasty. The veggies? Beyond FRESH. FLAVORFUL! What Jersey Mike's get right is the ratios! The perfect balance of meat, toppings, sauce. I'm telling ya. It's easily and hands down the best sandwich I've ever had! I'm a customer for life! And you guys? The brownies?! Pleaseeeeee.....I was shocked...it's the best brownie I've ever had and I'm damn picky. I didn't expect that from a sandwich shop. They, unlike some others, don't deny it or fight you about it. I got a free Tina sub and it was so good. They even wished me a happy birthday, which some others did t even bother to say it. I went to ordered curbside for Jersey mikes 2 adult subs and 1 kid sub. My order was set to be ready at 4:30pm. I got there right at 4:30 and checked in. It let me know someone will be out shortly with my order. I have a broken foot so I was excited about the curbside pick up. Only to find 30 mins later my food was still not out.
