UPDATED SEVERAL WEEKS AFTER BUSINESS OWNER RESPONDED (seemingly... to show that she "tried" to resolve the issue -- yet my response went ignored for a month so far! I was given the wrong order when i did a "curbside pickup" and contacted corporate. They said they'd contact the manager of the store and I never heard any response. I posted a yelp review explaining the issue so others might check their orders before leaving the store -- and then the owner of the store contacted me, asking me to email her so she could resolve the issue. I forwarded my email communications between me and corporate to her only to be completely ignored after she'd posted on Yelp that she wanted to help. PEOPLE: CHECK YOUR BAGS FOR THE CORRECT ORDER BEFORE LEAVING THE UPLAND STORE. (and do NOT expect any help if you have issues w/anything) read more

Horrible experience. Walked in and placed an order and some kid behind the counter hust grabbed a random bread before asking what one I wanted.. Also just threw the bread on the bare ass counter, when there was a cutting board right next to him. Didn't ask if I wanted it toasted either. When I asked for it, he said he could only do the top, since he put meat and cheese on one half already. Lazy ass kids working here. I walked out before he finished making my sandwich. Don't waste your time coming here... all the bad reviews are pretty accurate lol. read more

Ordered tuna sandwiches over the phone and the 3 tuna fish sandwiches that we ordered had watery tuna that we suspected to be due to too much mayo. This would be excusable if we had ordered them mike's way but none of them were ordered as mike's way. My brother ate it and immediately got a stomach ache afterwards. Awesome location we love jersey mikes:) Great service and Bomb SUB'S ! We have dined in and taken it to-go as well and we are always super happy to dig into our yummy SUB'S:) When we come in there is always someone greeting us with a warm welcome and a smile! A little light conversation while they hook our sub's up! I MEAN THEY HOOK THEM UP! Everyone here has a upbeat and real relaxed attitudes good vibes all the way! My favorite Jersey Mike's! Been a regular at this location since it opened... There used to be a manager name Kayla who was A+mazing! But as we know people move on... There where also others who where nice. Well went today to use birthday gift and also got free cookie! It always clean and they akways strive to give each customer a great experience!!! Love this place for sandwiches! Their hot sandwiches are delicioussss!! I have only been here twice and both times I got hot sandwiches and fell in love! They have both hot and cold. You can also add any extra veggies and dressings you may want on it. Chips and drinks also served. I've tried the Chipotle Cheesesteak and Big Kahuna Cheesesteak. I recommend both! They stuff their sandwiches well and the melt of the cheese makes it so mouthwatering! The sauces they use in both are also very flavorful. You will definitely be satisfied with taste! Only reason why I give 4/5 is because it is really pricey. You can easily spend $20 just getting a meal here on your lunch break, which is a lot more expensive than most sandwich places. However, I do think it is worth it and one of the best places I've had for cheesesteaks :) read more

food was actually better than i expected! there were a long line when i walked inside but normally long line means its a good place in my opinion! looked through all the subs that sounded good i picked their philly cheese steak! cheese was melted nicely and meat was evenly cut out and the veggies were cooked very well! ordered a giant size not thinking how big they are.. ended up barely finishing one half of the sub and packed the rest for dinner! service was good and the wait time to get the food (especially the ones that needs to be melted took longer) but it was a great experience! read more

Idk if it's my luck or what but every time I come to this Jersey Mike's, it's always backed up and the service is slow! I ordered 3 sandwiches for curbside pick up and I have been waiting 15 mins past the time they originally gave me, why offer curbside if you can't deliver on that? They have only 2 employees working. One on the grill and the other working the front line and the register. I feel bad for them but they should hire more people!! One of the employees apologized for the long wait, only reason I'm giving 2 stars! read more

Been here a few times. Then one day i ordered online for pick up. I came in and my sandwich wasnt ready. They asked what my order was and i told them. One of the girls working pulls out a sandwich out of a bag and un wraps it. She opens the sandwich up and starts picking through it pulling out meat and whatever. She then gets other meat, that was meant for my sandwich, and puts it in, wraps it up and then hands it to me. Are you freaking serious? Inaint eating that shit. I told them i wanted a fresh one. They took the sandwich back and made a fresh one. That should've been the last time i came here because of theyre unsanitary practices. If theyre doing this in front of me and other customers, what else are they doing behind the scenes? Today we door dashed a sandwich and when we got it it was soggy as shit. Which tells me that sandwich has been sitting for while. It was probably a canceled order and they chose to hold on to it to sell it later instead of trashing 45 cents of product and risking customers gwtting sick. read more

Just placed and picked up my order and it wasn't even what I ordered! But since they seal it with tape you don't even know they screwed up my order until I got it home. How hard would it have been to say, "We didn't have the Rosemary bread and we didn't have vinegar so we only put oil on it." The receipt was correct but the sandwich was not. Only gave two stars because I've had good sandwiches at other locations. read more

Why do they offer curbside delivery but fail to deliver order. I waited 25 minutes and eventually had to go in. When I got back to work 5 mins later, $14.55 sandwich was soggy and it even what I ordered!!! What a waste of money and time. Might not ever go there again. Terrible quality and service read more

Make sure you check your bag before you leave. Ordered 3 sandwiches and they messed up by giving me 2 chicken Philly cheesesteaks when 1 of them was suppose to be a club sub. I asked before leaving is everything correct, employee said yes. Drive all the way home notice my order is wrong and when I arrived back at the store, my sandwich was sitting on counter as if they knew before I left that they messed up my order but didn't bother to call me or tell me. Take your business elsewhere. New hires don't know what they are doing. read more

Jersey Mike's has the best sandwiches in town and they don't skimp on the meat, like the other popular sandwich chain does (starts with an S and ends with a y) . Jersey Mike's sandwiches may seem to cost more than the other place, but considering how generous they are with the meats, cheeses, and other additions, the prices are reasonable for what you get. You can also save some money by buying a giant sub sandwich and splitting it with someone else, it's a better deal then buying two regular subs. Also, if you join their free rewards program, you can get a free regular sub and 22oz drink on your birthday, in addition to other offers and rewards available to members throughout the year. The customer service is great at all the locations I've been to and if you order and pay online on the APP, your food will be ready when you get there to pick it up. No waiting lines and you can be in and out in seconds. read more

Will not go into this location again! Once again they did not have roast beef ready so I had to alter my sandwich and then I had to eat my backup sandwich on hard bread. Yuck Not to mention that the counter was dirty and the meat slicer looked like it had not been cleaned all day. Then there is the staff, who ignored me mid order because someone they knew came in after me. Just started chatting it up totally forgetting about me, the customer placing their order. After spending 30+ minutes trying to place an order for pickup, I finally decided to just call in my order. 1st try, took too many rings before answering, but all I could hear was loud static sounds. No one responded to my "hello, hello" so I hung up, again.Same thing happened By then, my husband was already on his way there. It all started back in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and was originally known as Mike's Subs. The original owner, Mike, thrived off the seasonal tourist industry and a small population of year round residents. In 1975, Peter Cancro, only 17 years old at the time, purchased the business with the help of his high school football coach. When the company began franchising in 1987, Peter renamed the business Jersey Mike's Subs. Today, there are 1,500 Jersey Mike's locations open and in development nationwide.

My name is Elizabeth Allen, I am a frequent customer of Jersey Mikes. Today when I went into Jersey Mike's South Upland to be specific. There was a young African-American girl making a 13 (Original Italian) for a middle aged Hispanic man. He began to complain about how she was missing something on his sandwich, she walked over and she showed him that she had put everything on she even named all of the meats and let him know that it was there. He went on to complain again and say that there was no pepperoni she then again walked over and showed him that there was in fact pepperoni. He got extremely aggressive with her and asked her if she had a problem. She replied saying no sir then she proceeded to let him know that if he wanted her to get the manager she would do so. He then told her yes do that, the manager walks out and he complains that he wants to speak with the owner not the manager. She then explained that she was the assistant manager and said that they didn't have a owner it's a franchise and that he would have to call a corporate number. Although this has nothing to do with my sandwich which was amazing ! I feel as if the employee was being treated unfairly. The way she handled was the right way. He was rude and not kind, I feel as if the assistant manager should have taking more steps into figuring out the problem before she gave him the corporate number. She then went on to helping me and my daughter. The man stood at the counter after he got his food and glared at her for a moment before leaving. As a human being if that made me feel uncomfortable I can only imagine how this poor girl felt. I will not be silenced and let this go unnoticed.
