The issue is customer service, especially near closing time. Without fail, if you arrive even 20 minutes before closing, there is always an excuse. First, you are told it will take 20 minutes. When you reach the window, it becomes 30 minutes. Then you are told they only have grilled chicken available. When you agree to grilled, suddenly grilled takes even longer. It is a predictable pattern. If the kitchen is truly closed or certain items are unavailable, just say so directly. Customers can handle honesty. What is frustrating is the shifting explanations that make it seem like the goal is simply to avoid taking the order. Management should seriously evaluate this.
